I wish I could give Kim and her team at Marquis a million stars - I cannot even begin to describe what an amazing job Marquis florals did for my wedding in April. From the moment my sister and I met with Kim I knew she was the one I wanted to work with. She got my ideas out of my head and onto paper with no problem at all - the vision I was thinking of was done above and beyond by Kim and her team. I had gone over budget on a lot of things with the wedding and Kim was able to give me the wedding of my dreams on a budget. From the begining Kim was absouluetly straight with me telling me what I could do to stay within my budget and what I could swap out to make it more extravagent. The last month of my wedding I changed my mind with many details and Kim and her staff was able to change around the flowers and make it exactly what I was thinkning. When I walked into the reception room for the first time I literally almost fell over in shock of the amazing job Marquis had done - the flowers were beyond anything I could have ever dreamed of. I had a very clear and specific idea of what I wanted for flowers and decor but wasn't sure Id be able to put it into words. Kim took my ideas and made them into the most beautiful decorations ever. My bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were AMAZING. Kim took the overall theme I was going for and make everything just perfect. The table decorations, the altar...just perfect. She also works within your price range although what she did was really priceless in my mind. My bouquet was one of my favorite things about my wedding - I was so happy it came out just how I had pictured. Kim is amazing and her staff is all very friendly and helpful. My family has been using Kim for special events for almost 25 years (my Grandparents used Kim for my Aunt's wedding and my Aunt used Kim for all three of her childrens bar/bat mitzvahs); Kim is, hands down, the best florist in NJ.

Kim and her team were such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. Their work is incredible; not a single detail was overlooked down to the placement of flowers around my wedding cake. Pamela came on my wedding day to set up all of the flowers; despite the extreme heat and humidity, Pamela did absolutely everything she could to make my outdoor ceremony space SO beautiful. The bouquets were unlike anything I'd ever seen and the centerpeices for the reception were incredible. My guests and I are STILL talking about how beautiful the flowers were.

We couldn't have been more pleased working with Marquis Florals by Kim to do our wedding flowers. She was very fair, listened and carried out our wishes to the fullest. We had a tight time frame and Kim and her crew did what they needed to do to get it done, early actually. Then there was the flowers themselves, she has quite an eye to putting arrangements together and the quality was astounding, everyone thought we had scented candles. Working with Kim was an absolutely wonderful experience. Her cheerfullness and upbeat attitude made it so much easier to make our final decisions. My daughter was very specific about the flowers and Kim did everything possibe to make it happen, no matter how many times it took to get it just right. Her creativity and flexibility are a huge asset in completing the room's decor. As for the final installation in the hall, Kim's sister went way beyond our expectations. Not only did everything look spectacular but she noticed that the wedding cake was completely unadorned and she took it upon herself to decorate it with flowers. Not only wasn't this part of her job but we hadn't even noticed it in our fixation with the table flowers. She took the entire room into account beyond just her own contribution. That is an indication of a true professional who takes pride in her work. My wedding was October 3rd 2010, we used Marquis Florals by Kim and couldn't have been happier with her work. From our very first meeting with Kim she was so helpful with designing our floral look for the wedding. I knew I wanted bright fall colors but did not know which flowers would work best. She understood exactly what we wanted and made it a reality. Our ceremony was outdoors in a garden under an antique stone gazebo. The entire gazebo was covered in beautiful fresh flowers and silk. The reception inside had mix of tall and short arrangements that really gave demension to the room. Everything was just breathtaking. I would definately recommend Kim and her team!

I dont know much about flowers, admitted that going in. Kim showed me flowers in the colors I wanted and knew exactly what she was doing. the day of, they delivered the flowers for me and my girls to my hotel. The woman who delivered them, she was wonderful. So helpful, left me her number in case of any issues or needs. the flowers where gorgeous in the church and reception venue. Great job!!

Kim (Joanne & staff) created an absolutely fabulous setting for the wedding! Colors and floral arrangements inside and outside were gorgeous! Everyone could not stop raving about the flowers! Kim and her sister were wonderful! During my original meeting with Kim, she was so energetic and had so many great ideas. Unfortunetly, our flower budget was very small but she was very accommadating. We only did bridal party flowers, no centerpieces. They even called up a few days before to ask me what color my mom was wearing so they could match the ribbon on her flowers. So thoughtful!

I just got married on 8/15/2010 and i am so pleased that i used Marquis Flowers by Kim. Kim is incredibly talented! She sat down and worked everything out with me. I told her i was on a tight budget and she worked everything out within my price range. The bouquets were all amazing and unique, i wasnt sure what type of flowers to go with and she showed me all my options. I also needed a chuppah and went to plenty of other florists to find the nicest one and best price.. Kim had the best one! The chuppah was beautiful! They decorated it so beautiful, even put lights in the chuppah. Weeks later, i still get compliments how pretty the chuppah was. On my wedding day, Pam & Doug showed up to the hotel first to give me and my bridesmaids our bouquets than to the guys, than to my reception to set up everything. They were so helpful. Pam offered to decorate my cake. she gave me her card and said if i needed anything even just to talk heres my cell #. She made me feel so comfortable. They stayed the whole time, untill i walked down the aisle, just to make sure everything was perfect. i felt like she was a wedding planner more than just a regular florist. i would definitley recommend Marquis Flowers by Kim to anyone plannning a event in the near future!

Kim and Joanne from Marquis Florals were absolutely amazing!!! The flowers were beautiful and every guest said that the arrangements were the nicest that they have ever seen!

When you sit and talk to Kim, you will fall in love with her. She is very accomodating and will work with all price ranges. On my wedding day, it rained and in a half an hour all the flowers were moved from the outside to inside!!! I am telling all of you: I would not trust anyone else with my flowers. They will make your wedding day special!

Marquis Florals did the flowers for my ceremony as well as the bouquets and flowers for the ushers. The bamboo arch they created for my ceremony was amazing! They also included a picture of my father in my bouquet as well as pictures in the mothers corsages and my grandmothers corsage. It was such a touching thing to do. I also made a last minute change to my bouquet and asked them to add some color to it and they were very accomodating. I would definately use them again. The day after my wedding my bouquet still looked fresh...great quality of flowers!

Marquis Floral certainly knows what they are doing and more! They provided my wedding with beautiful flowers that last longer than needed. Kim and the staff are such amazing and kind people. Kim worked with my husband and I until we found what we liked. What ever we wanted, she made it happen. We did spend more on the flowers than we anticipated but they were well worth it! Marquis Floral has great quality in service, staff and professionalism.

When the flowers arrived at the house, a bouquest was missing for one of the bridesmaids, but that was my fault. I had emailed them saying I only needed 5 but I meant to say 6. I was in a panic! But Marquis Floral saved the day. They had another one made for me and sent over to the church. It was as if nothing happened!

Lastly, a staff member came with us to the church to make sure everything was in place and all the flowers were there. This I expected. However, I did not expect for their staff to stay through the whoe ceremony and even help out with the bubble machine as we exited the church! They certainly go above and beyond in every aspect of their service.

I was so happy with the option of silk flowers for the flower girl, I couldn't tell that it was fake and it was the best choice cause she dropped it and banged it and it still looked beautiful and I like she can then keep it, and I am thankful they had that option available to us at a very reasonable price. We had Marquis Florals do the flowers for our wedding. I cannot be more pleased with how everything came out. Working with Kim was great. She had great ideas to help us create exactly what we were looking for and we could tell she really knew what she was doing. She was also very open to ideas we had and flexible to change. This was a pleasant change from other florists we had met with who seemed stuck in their own ideas. And the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality you are getting. Once the wedding day arrived, they came right on time to deliver the flowers and they were even more beautiful than I imagined. Particularly the bridal bouquet was full and gorgeous! They even wrapped a piece of my mother's wedding dress into the handle. They also did arrangements and decorating at the church and reception (inclulding on the cake) and everything was a perfect compliment to the decor. Absolutely no question about the quality and value of this place! The flowers were so fresh and stunningly beautiful. The Marquis Floral team provided us with amazing flowers for our November 2009 wedding. Kim and Toni were fabulous. Everyone could not stop talking about our centerpieces and the bouquets. I used Marquis Floral for my September 2009 wedding. I found that Marquis Floral went above and beyond to make sure I was getting what I wanted for my Special day. I am the type of person who normally does EVERYTHING myself to ensure its done the way I want, however I felt 110% confident in leaving it up to Marquis Floral and they proved their reliabitily in every way. My wedding was supposed to be outside, but due to weather it had to be moved inside, Marquis Floral made the change so smoothly & arranged everything SO BEAUTIFULLY, I walked down the isle to the most Romantic setting I could have ever imagined. All of the staff were wonderful, down-to-earth, and very helpful. Kim was awesome and really helped to make my vision come alive within our budget. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful all of the flowers were which was quite evident when there was not one centerpiece left on the tables at the end of the night. They also did a fabulous job with a scroll with everyone's name and table # instead of seating cards which looked gorgeous. Marquis florals by Kim not only met my expectations they far surpassed them. I had a very specific look in mind. I wanted rustic but elegant and considering it was a winter wedding I wanted pine cones and evergreens while still incorporating flowers. I wanted to make it impactful without being over the top. Kim and her team made it happen. All along the way the kept me updated and if something wasn't available they gave me plenty of suggestion or backup options. In the end every detail of the flowers was so perfectly executed. Francesa, and the team who were at my venue the day of but everything together seamlessly. My bouquet was so special, and my BMs bouquets were fabulous. I would recommend them to everyone!

Marquis Florals by Kim did the floral arrangements for the wedding. Everything from the Chupah to the bouquets and floral centerpieces were phenomenal We felt as if though we were transported into a wonderland of elegance and understated beauty. Many of our guests commented on the magnificent and exquisite flowers. The staff was absolutely accommodating to work with and helped guide us through the entire process. All in all, they helped to make this day special for the bride and groom and their families.

I know nothing about flowers! When we met with Joann in the spring, that's exactly what I told her. I showed her my dress, talked about our venue and the overall feel of the wedding that we hoped to accomplish. From there, she suggested the flowers for all bouquets and boutonnieres as well as finishing touches for our ceremony (we did not need centerpieces because they were included in our reception venue's package). I admit, I was nervous with how everything would look; especially since we really had no contact with them from the time we booked until two weeks before our wedding. I couldn't have been happier! Everyone was impressed with the flowers - they were absolutely beautiful. The only regret I have is not looking into flower preservation early enough to save them. I had all of the bridesmaid bouquets, as well as mine, in vases around my house, and I was crushed when I had to throw them away. I definitely recommend Marquis Florals, but I also recommend you look into preserving the flowers before it's too late!!

I chose Kim at Marquis Florals after seeing an ad they had put in a wedding magazine. They had these beautiful crystal vases on this lovely black and white overlay and I wanted that look for my wedding. I wanted my wedding a certain way and I was just hoping that what I was envisioning Kim understood, being she and her team would be the ones putting it together. They decorated my entire ceremony with white linens, and rose petals. The look was perfect not too much. My dress had feathers so I really wanted to incorporate that look, however twice I saw the setup with Kim and I was not thrilled. Kim knew I was not thrilled and gave me some suggestions and on the day of my wedding the feather centerpieces were perfect. Everything was stunning, the crystals, all the feathers and the rose petals it was just stunning. My bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I had ever seen (i'm not just saying that because it's mine) it had crystals and calla lilies just beautiful. Kim also added feathers to my maid of honors bouquet which was really a nice touch. Overall I feel like I spent more than I had wanted to Kim is not cheap, but she does great work. They offer alot of other services but I had already spent so much on the flowers and decor I was not able to use any more of their services. I do recommend Marquis Florals they did a great job.

the flowers came out beautiful.. my bouquets and the center pieces really illuminated the room.. there was one glitch in that something was forgotten that was essential to the ceremony... but her team worked hard to correct the mistake.. mistakes happen... but the flowers were gorgeous and she is such a nice person to work with

My daughter Jill and I were extremely happy with all the flowers provided by Marquis Florals. The table center pieces were so beautiful that the guests could not stop complimenting us. The bridal bouquet, gorgeous, just what the bride wanted, the silk pleated Chuppah, all lit up was so attractive that it created a "Wow" effect when my husband and I walked our daughter down the aisle. We went to Marquis Florals by chance actually, but what really made our decision to buy from them was their beautiful rose bundles at the prices they had them. We compared them to other flower shops, and none matched so that was the main factor to why we chose them. I loved there flowers btw.

The florals were beautiful and exactly what we discussed during our meeting, the staff put together the room flawlessly, and everything lasted beautifully despite the august heat! We had Kim do all of our flowers, we rented tablecloths and she decorated the ceremony area. Despite all they had to do, they took their time and everything was put together with a careful touch! They even stayed through the ceremony to move the flowers over into the reception! If you are looking for a florist, this is the one to use!

Kim and Joann really helped us out of a bind when our florist went out of business four weeks before the wedding. They went out of their way to accomodate us and did a beautiful job. They seem to go above and beyond what other florists offer, including making a sample center piece and being on call on the wedding day in case anything should go wrong.

I went to Marquis Florals without a clue as to what I wanted. I sat down with Kim and told her that the only thing I was certain of was that I did not want roses in my bouquet. I wanted a streamline, classy flower that was not the norm. She showed me a variety of flowers and made great recommendations. We decided on phalenopsis orchids and she made an absolutely stunning bouquet! Our centerpieces were beautiful with high pedestal vases and a gorgeous arrangement of vibrant flowers. She made a trial centerpeice that was so amazing. My guests were delighted when they got a chance to take them home. They were great to work with and incredibly creative and talented.

Marquis did the flowers for my daughter's wedding and everything was exquisite. My daughter wanted something a bit different than the usual floral arrangements and Kim tuned right into her preferences and accomodated all her requests. Everything was beautiful.

Kim came highly suggested from multiple people. She was super helpful and willing to work within my budget. On the first viewing of the centerpieces, we weren't thrilled-but worked with Kim to make them more like we had envisioned. Turns out they were more beautiful the day of the wedding! I would say that Kim is definitely busy, so be honest and tell her what you want- you will get it!

I would have given Kim a 5.0, except that there was diamonds and bling added to my bouquet that I didnt request. It looked nice, but not really my...

I thought going in to our consultation that their prices would be ridiculously high but they were actually really reasonable. They had worked with my catering site which was very helpful. Both Kim and Joanne were wonderful and helped me with any questions I had. They set up the wedding site early the day of the wedding and everything looked beautiful

Kim, the owner of Marquis Florals, is incredibly talented! The bouquets were all amazing and unique, and the chuppah was beautiful! Her sister Jo-Ann, who headed the setup and delivery, went above and beyond her duties - helped my now mother-in-law ride in the elevator and get to where she needed to be to walk my husband down the aisle. She even helped move her walker and stayed with her until the ceremony began! The secretary Mary, is one of the nicest ladies you'll ever deal with as well! No complaints here!!

Kim was wonderful at our meetings but at the end of the day I showed up to my wedding and our flowers were wrong, even after we had 2 seperate meetings and my mother reviewed everything with them 2 times the week prior to our wedding. They fixed them as best they could prior to my reception and Kim was very gracious after.

The reason I went with Marquis Bridal was for my bridal bouquet, which was going to be so gorgeous and different (I had never seen anything like it!) I was promised this particular bouquet and was even told it was Joanne's favorite (so she was very familiar with it). On the day of the wedding, when my flowers were dropped off, my bridesmaids flowers were pretty and what we discussed, and mine were completely wrong. Not the flowers or colors I was promised!They were all white!!!! We called and they came to add some other flowers, but it still was not even close to the original. It turned out beautiful, but the whole reason I went with them was this out of the ordinary bouquet, I probably could have gotten this somewhere else and saved some money.
They did work with us on the centerpieces and kept changing them until we liked them.

The flowers on the table were beautiful; the response of the guests were "WOW"! The bouquets were lovely. My husband and I planned everything; it would have been better to assign someone for the day of the wedding to ensure all was done as planned.

I paid a lot for what I got, which was not what I asked for. The colors were wrong, the centerpieces were wrong, and the roses were tiny, when I asked for large.
The delivery person brought the flowers to the church and forgot to drop off the bouttenieres... my bridesmaids had to track them down, which was difficult, considering no one at the office was answering the phone that day. Finally, they realized the mistake and came back, but not before my fiance had a near freak out.

What I did get was lovely, but it was not what I wanted and 2 months later it still bothers me. They never even followed up to see if I was satisfied. I feel that I could have gotten way more for my money elsewhere.

When all was said and done, I was very happy with the end product, but I was left wanting more when it came to professionalism and customer service.

The Good: Kim at Marquis floral understood my vision and was able to create beautiful boutiques for my special day. I couldn't have asked for anything more when it came to quality and design. The flowers were delivered on time and they lasted well into the next day or two after the wedding without wilting.

The Bad: Being that I live out of state, I had limited time and days to meet with vendors. The only day that my mother in law can meet due to owning and operating a store is Sunday or Monday. I explained this to the ladies at Marquis and they replied that the only days that Kim could meet were Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Now if I were a business owner (which I happen to be) I would make an exception to my operating hours and find time to meet with an out of state client. As a result of their unwillingness to work with us, we opted to only get our boutiques and other wedding party flowers as well as our church flowers done by them. They missed out on the 25 centerpieces at about $80 per piece.

The Ugly: A few short days before the wedding I receive an invoice by email stating that the balance must be paid by money order, cashier's check or cash the Thursday before the wedding or the flowers will not be delivered. Keep in mind that I live 2 hours away from their storefront. I called to ask if I could pay in cash the day of delivery (like 99.9% of other businesses) and they refused. I explained that there was no way for me to travel four hours to deliver their balance before the wedding and if I mailed a cashier's check, they wouldn't receive it in time for the Thursday before deadline. The woman that I spoke to "agreed to make an exception" and allow me to pay by money order on delivery. Not to mention they had already charged my credit card the $300 deposit. When I asked why they couldn't accept cash the day of, her response was "we don't trust our drivers". hmmmm I'm sure the fine young man who delivered the flowers would like to hear that comment. Oh, and why couldn't they just charge the balance to the credit card that they already used? I still don't know the answer on that one.

Please be careful with Kim from Marquis and her staff. She promised one thing but delivered another! In fact, the materials were of considerably less value than promised, expected, or paid for. Also, she requires full payment up front because she knows that the consumer has no recourse once the job is done. If you are unhappy (as I was), she doesn't bother to follow-up or make things right. Marquis did my son's bar mitzvah centerpieces for an elegant Saturday night affair. The adult tables had silver branches in square water-filled vases decorated with orchids and electric tea lights. The tea lights were barely visable and the orchids were thrown on haphazardly. The vase was supposed to be lit from inside, but that was not apparent either. The bases of the branches were supposed to be hidden with a leaf, but that was left out altogether. At the base of these centerpieces there was supposed to be a ring of beautiful, colorful fruit intended for the guests and then the leftovers were to be donated. Instead, the base had a wet and soggy aluminum ring filled with moldy grapes and soft, damaged, drab fruit. Who would use brown kiwis, little green crab apples, and dirty plums for color? It was supposed to be red apples, green pears, oranges, lemons, limes, and more colorful fruit for donation. By the end of the party, most of the fruit had to be tossed out because it was inedible and embarrassing for me to donate. The children's centerpieces were typical 2-tier discs. The base was covered with turf and a single soccer ball (bought at the Five Below store), although there was supposed to be soccer items accompanying the ball (like a cone, a cleat, a trophy,etc.) so the base was sparse. At the top was a gold trophy made from styrofoam and a team emblem with balloons. Once again, the light in the center of the acrylic rod was not visible. These centerpieces were not worth more than $20 in materials, but she charged $125/piece! I could have done them myself if I had time since there was no talent or creativity associated wtih them.I can say that the sign in board was nice (an acrylic soccer ball), but it was placed poorly so few people signed in. She also did placecards which were plain and expensive and a lovely board with where the children were to sit. Kim gives a lot of lip service and promised to be at our affair, but didn't show up. I was most disappointed and would never recommend her services to anyone. Please shop around!

Kim is amazing! I have seen first hand the gorgeous flowers, centerpieces and decor that her and her team create. The weddings that have used Kim for their flowers have been amazing. On a personal note, Kim and her staff have done three Bar mitzvahs in my family and most recently my sister's wedding. The centerpieces and bouquets for my sister's wedding were unbelievable! My maid of honor bouquet lasted a month! She is a definite must on your wedding day!
