Boston Marriott Quincy

We had our wedding at the Marriott Quincy in 1/2 of the ballroom and our coordinator was Amanda Hartley. I have mixed feelings about the Marriott, which we will get to later on, but Amanda was absolutely fantastic and our hostess for the evening (Nancy) did a great job making sure everything went smoothly and looked perfect. Amanda has been dealing with me for the last year and a half and she met all of my needs; she knew exactly what she was doing, was extremely organized, and really helped make our vision come to life. If I could give the function staff themselves 5 stars, I would.
On the other hand, the hotel itself was less than satisfying. The staff at the front desk (excluding Stephanie, Mohammed, and Andrew) were rude, the "loss prevention" staff followed us around like we were going to throw mattresses out the windows and steal couches, and the waitstaff at brunch were asking for tips before we even sat down to eat!
Overall, I would recommend the Marriott banquet space for a reception as the space was great and the staff was more than attentive, but I definitely would not recommend having the bridal party and guests stay in the hotel itself. The hotel gets a measly 2 stars - its only redeeming qualities were that it was big, clean, and pretty.

The organization of the Quincy Marriott staff helped lead to a wonderful wedding event. Their attention to detail and experience showed in their quality of service. The food was excellent and was served in a timely manner. Thank You for a wonderful wedding!!

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. We knew we picked the right place, but after our guests comments - it became that much more evident!

They wedding was perfect. I can't think of a single thing that went wrong. The staff at the Marriott was wonderful, the food was great and everyone had a good time.

I've done a ton of pre-wedding photography here and the rooms are great!
