We just had a small family wedding. They were wonderful. They helped me pick out colorful arrangements to match my wedding parties outfits and my dress..They had everything ready for us to pick up early and on time labor day. The flowers were lovely.

It was nice that my parents offered to host the rehearsal dinner on the eve of the wedding, but we knew that we wouldn’t be able to make all the food ourselves. We bought huge trays of deli meats, fruits, and vegetables from Marsh Supermarket. The trays are very generous, and a plate that is meant to feed 24 people can easily feed 30 people. We also bought dollar buns and drinks from there. The nice surprise was that my mom also ordered a “congratulations cake” for me and my husband. It was chocolate with vanilla frosting, the really sweet kind that I just love. We were able to feed over 50 people for about $200, which was great.

My husband and I had a really tight budget and we didn’t care about the cake! However, we knew that wedding cake was a big part of the tradition and we found out Marsh baked them. We had a 3 tier wedding cake that was low cost. The best part is we can now go there every year on our wedding anniversary and get a “top” decorated to share!

I would definitely recommend Marsh for wedding cakes. We had a very nice and simple three tier cake with white roses. My mother-in-law that used to setup the bakeries and delis for Marsh set up the cake the day of the reception. The cake was beautiful. They also did an old school hot rod cake with flames for the grooms cake.

I liked using a local supermarket floral department because it was less expensive and had a good variety of seasonal merchandise.

Most people laugh when I tell them that Marsh did my flowers, but they did a remarkable job for me. We didn't have a lot of money and we were doing this mostly on our own. I bought the materials and my maid of honor made her own bouquet from silk flowers from Joann's, but mine was real as well as the boutineer (sp?) and a little topper for my cake. They did exactly as I requested and it was perfect. We spent very little. I have the bouquet to this day. I dried it and put it in a glass case.
