We did not end up using Norman Martin for our wedding. When we met with him he was very condescending and arrogant. Norman forgot my finance's name and spoke directly to me, pretending he didn't exist. When he found out where we lived, he curled his lips because the location clearly did not meet his expectations. When I told him that we had decided to go with someone else, he was very unprofessional and rude, claiming that I was dishonest and implied that he thought I was trying to steal his ceremonies. When I called him on it, he did apologize.

Rev. Martin is the best. He is very open to suggestions and very accomodating in incorporating other traditions on the ceremony. He made our wedding day very memorable and emotional. We are very happy to be able to have him as our officiant.

The first tiem we met Norm we knew we wanted him to be our officiant. Not only is he supportive but he's honest. He let us choose which ever ceremony we wanted whether it was religious catholic or just something civil. He really made us feel at ease when we met him. He did a remarkable job. Whatever questions we had he always answered right away. He's a very good man and he knows what he is doing. We would reccommend him to anyone and everyone!

Norm preformed a beautiful ceremony for our wedding. It was exactly what we were hoping for and all the guests thought he did a lovely job. He had provided us with many different ceremony styles to choose from and allowed us to customize however we wanted. It was so nice that he was versatile and didn’t mind doing the ceremony in the woods. Thank you so much, Norm, for helping us create such a special day.

We got married on July 3rd, 2010 and Norm was the most fantastic officiant. After our first meeting he sent us ceremonies to pick from and found 2 that we liked and he inter-twined them and made them special to us. When I had questions a quick email and an even quicker response put me at ease. The rehersal was perfect and the ceremony was spectacular.

Norman Martin was a great part of my wedding. He was very knowledgeable and helpful to my husband and myself. Once we had decided to have Norman Martin as the officiant at of our wedding he even offered to counsel us together or separately if we had any concerns leading up to the wedding. His fees were very reasonable and he has a great presence. I enjoyed the way he ran the rehearsal and the fact that he completes his duties and then is off for the rest of the evening.

I perform Civil, Non-Denominational and Personalized wedding ceremonies at the location and time of your choice, indoors or outside.
I am a Non-Denominational Minister and Wedding Officiant living in North Oshawa. I started serving
the public as a Wedding Officiant in 2005. My business has almost doubled every year since then. While I do a number of weddings a year, each one is unique and special in its own way. Many of my weddings are now referrals
from couples who either saw me in action at a friend's wedding or heard about me from a friend. It just keeps growing and I'm enjoying every minute of the time I spend with couples planning their ceremonies, meeting their families and all
that is involved in the process.
My main rule is not to have any rules. I do not make life more frustrating for couples by having a lot of restrictions and rules of what they can or cannot do. I offer lots of
ceremony options from totally non-religious to deeply spiritual and personalized ceremonies. You can mix and match sections from different ceremonies to make something you like or simply create something unique to you with my help of
course. I will do the ceremony you choose, no more, and no less.
