Excellent! Mary was extremely kind and knowledgeable in all aspects of wedding planning. She answered all our queries promptly and guided us through the license application. Her friendly manner set the perfect tone for our ceremony which was customized to us to a tee. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Mary provided us with excellent service. Ours was a private wedding, just me and the groom, and we didn't have much money. We thought it wasn't going to be that big of an event for us because of that, but Mary was able to make it so much more. She recommended a venue for us which was free to use and she did the process to get it. She provided us with video of our ceremony as well as wedding photos which made us so happy since we couldn't afford having any pictures taken. She even provided music during the ceremony and let us choose what she would wear. She took care of all those little details which made that day absolutely perfect for us. We really appreciate everything Mary did for us!

she let us write our whole same sex wedding ceremony and put in some beautiful surprises that delighted us during the ceremony
i.e. we had a floral crown ceremony borrowed from the greek tradition and she added the switching of the crowns and kisses in between each switch even though we didn't write t hat in and it was one of the most delightful memories we have of the ceremony.

She made everything easy and stress-free! It was the perfect simple ceremony, just the way we wanted it and she understood exactly what we wanted.
Mary also sent pictures right after the wedding that were absolutely beatiful. It was a great surprise to have these while still waiting for photographer to send the wedding pictures.

Mary is wonderful!! She knows exactly how to make any ceremony go as smoothly as possible, and can whip any wayward wedding party member into shape :-) Without even attending the rehearsal, she had every single person in our party where they needed to be, when they needed to be there the day of. She also was completely open to meeting with us a few times before the actual ceremony to clarify everything and ease our minds. She has hundreds of options of vows, ceremony types, and so forth, for you to take pieces from, to use, or you can create your own! She truly loves what she does, and as a result, comes across to couples and guests as incredibly genuine. It makes the ceremony that much better! Highly recommended!!

She was so helpful during the planning process and answered all of our many questions very quickly. She also helped us plan a wonderful ceremony that was geared completely towards us. When we finally met her the night before our wedding, she was instantly friendly and warm and it felt like I've known her for years. She was so wonderful at our wedding and we were constantly receiving comments about how great and special our Officiant was. She even taped our whole ceremony and sent us a ton of pictures the very next morning which was so nice to see right before leaving for our honeymoon. She supplied us with dozens of sample scripts to read through in order to find the tone and content that we were looking for in our ceremony. We were very pleased with the modern options and examples she provided to us, and we ended up with a very unique and thoughtful ceremony that we were thrilled with.

Mary was super friendly during our meeting, and very very organized at the rehearsal. DH & I thought this was really important, because we had seen another relative's wedding ceremony that hadn't flowed very well. Mary took care of positioning our party, talking about how to walk, hold flowers, smile, and more during the rehearsal. DH had basically written our whole ceremony from her template suggestions (taking a bit from here, and a bit from there), and she had no issues with us doing that. The one part we had trouble with, was that each of us was to say our vows, then she was supposed to ask the other if they accepted them- this way we could say "I do." Then we would say something while giving our rings. During the ceremony, she handed DH a paper with his vows AND the ring words written on it, so when it came time for her to ask me if I accepted, she forgot she had to say something. I had to mouth to her quickly to ask, and DH showed her the paper, at which point she did. A minor problem in all. What we really liked about Mary was that she would step to the left and right during the ceremony. This was perfect for our venue, because then our photographer (and friends!) could get clear shots of just the two of us standing at the venue. It made for some really fantastic pictures. Mary also took some of her own pictures before and after the ceremony, as well as a video of the ceremony, which is included in her price.

Mary is fantastic! She is funny, professional, and goes above and beyond. She helped us to create a ceremony that was the right fit for us and it turned out beautifully. Mary even filmed our ceremony for us with her video camera and tripod (as we did not have a videographer) and took tons of photos before and after the ceremony (so that we'd have some immediate shots to see). The day after our wedding, I already had photos of the big day to gush over!

Mary is extremely responsive and is always happy to answer questions or offer up an idea. She kept our wedding party laughing and smiling during our rehearsal and did a great job with the ceremony.

We selected Mary Pugh as our wedding officiant. We talked on the phone initially and were impressed with her warm, sincere personality. She is a great listener and cares about delivering a ceremony that is unique and customized to meet the bride and grooms needs. Mary is very organized, returns phone calls and emails promptly and is on time! She worked with us to create a memorable,
ceremony that captured everything and more we asked for. Mary worked hard with the entire wedding party at our rehearsal dinner to ensure we were ready for our "Big Day". The day of our wedding she was all set up with her audio, coordinated with our flutist, harpist and wedding plannner to allign with the sequence of our wedding program. She is an excellent public speaker and coached us all on appropriate wedding etiquette. She provided those "extra touches" of memorial remembrance, hand blessing, ceremonial braid and an overall ceremony that was appreciated by all. Mary also as a "special gift" took photographs of our wedding right after the cermony and created a memorable CD for us- it is beautiful- and much appreciated. She also provided us with a beautiful copy of the wedding ceremony on gorgeous paper with lovely font. Mary also was very instrumental in assisting us with the process of obtaining a marraige liscense. Mary is very experienced as a wedding officiant- She offers those special touches to customize and meet your needs on your special day. We highly recommend Mary Pugh as a wedding officiant!

mary was extremely knowledgeable and helped us from start to finish in terms of picking out a script for our vows, helping us with the structure of the ceremony, going through the rehearsal with us, getting the marriage license, and finally, performed a beautiful ceremony on the big day. she is reliable, punctual, and very nice and personable. everyone commented on how nice and smooth our ceremony was. mary took her own photos before and after the ceremony and sent them to me and my husband the day of the wedding. it was so fun to see what everyone was doing while we were getting ready, taking pictures, etc. it was definitely a nice bonus! mary definitely takes her job very seriously and really seems to care about each and every person she works with.
