Mary Dougherty Photography

We hired Mary as our photographer a few months ago. Although we have not had our wedding yet I am sure that the photos will turn out great. We had an engagement session with her and I was more than thrilled when we got the pics back and they were exactly what we had hoped for. Very fun, fresh, candid photos that I know we will cherish forever. She is also very laid back and easy to work with. At first I wasn't sure that we should spend quite the amount of money that we did but now I know I would have regreted anything less. She even went above and beyond to edit a couple photos for our save the dates and that meant the world to me. True quality work.I would highly recommend her! Mary's work is beautiful! We were more then pleased with our photos. She has an ability to capture the day perfectly. It was soo much fun to experience the day all over again. She works very well with you as a couple and has the ability to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She takes a wide variety of photos and her creative edge makes the pictures more then just photos, but artwork, something you want to show everyone else, and hang on your walls! I would highly recommend her to anyone, not just for weddings!

My husband and I got married 2 months ago and we could not have been happier with our wedding photos!! Mary has a very artistic, fresh and innovative style. She did a wonderful job capturing each part of our special day. I never felt like she was crowding us at the wedding, infact at the ceremony I didn't even realize where she was and when she was taking pictures. When we got them back my husband and I kept saying, "how did she take all of these without us knowing!" She has a quick and smart eye. One of my favorite pictures was a candid that she caught of my grandmothers. Their expressions are priceless and Mary was quick to catch those moments throughout the night. I appreciated how easy she was to work with and be in contact with. I love our pictures and would highly recommend her to everyone!
