Great looking place. The owner told us that we would not have to do clean up and that the center would be clean when we got there. It wasn't clean. There was beer and food left all over the place. Had to clean the floor also. We had a GREAT band and could NOT even have loud enough to dance. Staff keep telling the us to turn the music down or we were going to get a ticket. Then, later I found out that the police were never called. It was the OWNER who had a problem with it. It wasn't even loud! The hall also had a strange smell in it. NOW, it's still a beautiful plan for an party. Just go in with your eyes wide open and no music.
My husband and I had an outdoor ceremony at his aunt and uncles historical home in Castroville. The Mary Gray center was perfect for us for our reception site. The owner was wonderful and was easy to work with. We were able to get the keys the day before at noon for decorating. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful. The outdoor area was perfect for dancing and talking with family and friends.
