I took a bridesmaid's dress here for alteration for a friend's wedding. I called around and visited many other places before I found a reasonable price for alterations. Many places charge $20+ per layer of the dress to be hemmed, and I had two layers in mine. After inspecting the hem when I got home, it looked nice and strong, and it was the perfect length with my shoes. I will definitely consider going back to her for alterations for my wedding dress and recommend her for my bridesmaids' dresses.
Mary was a very helpful and sweet lady. Though it was prom time and she was busy I felt that she gave me and my bridesmaids the proper attention. She also showed the right amount of enthusiasm for my wedding and dress. Some places I had gone did not share in the excitement of this special time in my life and it put a damper on things. She was also very reasonably priced! I went to her as many times for the fitting as was needed and there was still only one flat fee. I felt that she took very good care of my dress.
