Great job! I loved our wedding cake!!!! I ordered our cake at the last minute - 3 weeks prior to the wedding and they took care of me and did an amazing job. They worked with me on several different options to work on pricing and style of the cake. They delivered the cake to our reception site & set it up. We had so many positive comments on our cake - not only the look but the taste and quality! I would highly reccomend Mason's Bakery.

Mason's Bakery was wonderful to work with. Our cake was included in our package from our reception vendor, which caused a problem with communication somewhere between the vendors - not sure who's to blame; but nonetheless, Mason's Bakery was very accommodating and very flexible!! And made me a beautiful and most important, very yummy wedding cake! Everyone loved it!!

Long story short...This baker was included in our package when we booked our venue. On the evening of our wedding while we were having pictures taken during the cocktail hour, the event manager at our venue told us that no cake had been delivered from the baker. When he had called them, they said that we never confirmed the order. I guess me sending pictures of the cake we wanted and going back and forth about what type of frosting and colors would work well doesn't count as confirming an order with this baker. I am willing to take the blame if I did something wrong, but I think that the baker could have called if he had questions or was worried at all about the order in the days before the wedding. I think what really happened is that he forgot or had something better to do than bake our cake on a Saturday. Do not use Mason's if your cake is important to you. They are not reliable.

Mason's Bakery is a well known bakery in Fort Myers. They have been around forever and it is easy to see why. All the flavors are exceptional and they are willing to make any type of cake you dream of. All it takes is you telling them what you want, and it is done. All of our guests raved about the cake - it was the best wedding cake anyone had ever had!

Their cakes were amazing and they have a variety of flavors to choose from. What i LOVED about his cakes was that he doesn't use fondant to decorate and design his cakes. He has yummy frosting that looks like it but without the sugary thickness. He designed the cake exactly how we wanted and he also did a groomscake for us. I sent him a design and he executed it to a tee! I was very pleased with the cake and i will definitely use him in the future!

oh my I had my cake done by Masons Bakery and all I can say first of all it was beautiful but wow it tasted amazing!!!!!!! everyone loved my cake it really was so good. My night was so fast and furious so it seemed I forgot to take the top layer of my cake home, but I wouldnt have waited a year to eat it, cause it was so good I would have eaten it that weekend. I won a cake through a contest they were running on Facebook. I got a three tiered cake to serve about 75 people, for FREE! I couldn't have asked for anything better. The two best flavors are almond/amaretto and cannoli/chocolate chip. Highly recommend! I used Mason's Bakery for my wedding cake in May 2012. The cake tasted amazing, everyone loved it- not using fondant is great and the butter cream looks just as good. Our cake looked AMAZING, my only issue with them is I sent in paint swatches for the coral accents and they did not turn out as bright as I wanted. They also were supposed to use brown sugar on the table around the cake to create a "sand" look but that didn't happen. My guests had no idea these were issues, only I did, so I was a little disappointed there. I would just say follow up! But like I said, these were certainly not issues my guests knew about and the cake itself was lovely and tasty. Certainly a great bang for your buck!

WOW. With my contract for the reception at Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers, a custom cake from Mason's Bakery was included. I picked a intricate and beautiful 4 tier cake from their album and the cake was EXACTLY how I wanted it. The raspberry filling I picked was delicious and everyone at my wedding said it was the best cake they had had at a wedding. AMAZING!!!! Highly recommend.

We LOVED Mason's!! Our wedding cake was beautiful and everyone raved about it. I love that they don't use fondant. We sat down with the guy at our consult and he sketched out what I was trying to describe and I was a little nervous what it was actually going to look like in real life since I'm pretty bad at describing what's I'm thinking, but it was like he was reading my mind. It was exactly what I tried to describe to him. They're cupcakes are pretty delicious too, my husband had to buy one every time we went in there for something leading up to the wedding :)

Mason's Bakery is a staple in SW Florida, they did my sweet sixteen birthday cake. And it was a no brainer they would do my wedding cakes. From day one I was told what cannot be done. As a bride without a budget on this one particular detail I was not happy with that. I wanted cupcakes, a groom cake and a two tier wedding cake. He asked me to send him pictures of ideas that we had for our cakes. When you look at their website it seems like his talents are endless but immediately they wouldn't ice my cake in the blue that I liked which was from his website, I would have to purchase my own decorations for the cupcakes as well as the cups. But following him on facebook I would see updates of the awesome things that he could do that he never offered to do for me. So because I had a deposit on fill and would lose it I only went with the groomscake and two tier wedding cake which was still a hassle. And then when the cake was delivered he forgot the wedding topper back at the bakery and we had to call him to bring it to the venue. Which means my cake didn't have a topper. Luckily I found a bakery who could do what we wanted with the cupcakes and it exceeded our expectations.

Mason's Bakery was the PERFECT choice for our wedding cake. We selected the marble cake with chocolate fudge filling and the chocolate cake with turtle filling. It arrived on time, looked beautiful and tasted delicious. Many of my wedding guests are still telling me how good that cake was. :) Thank you!

We used Mason’s Bakery for our destination wedding on Sanibel Island. We told them the flavor and crème filling we wanted as well as how we wanted it decorated and our color scheme. The day of our wedding our cake was AMAZING and YUMMY and far exceeded our expectations!!!! Many guests had more than one piece and said it was the best cake they’ve ever eaten. I would highly recommend Mason’s Bakery to anyone having a wedding on Sanibel Island or in Southwest Florida.

My caterer, Oh, What A Night, chose the vendor for our wedding dessert, which was Key Lime Tarts made by Mason's. They were the best Key Lime Pie that I have ever had. Perfect for a Florida beach wedding.

We used Mason's bakery for our Sanibel Island destination wedding this past May. The tasting experience was awesome, and our consultation with Chris made designing our wedding cake quick and painless! Mason's also created our wedding favors - dusted/colored white chocolate starfish, bagged with "sand," and tied with ribbon. Our cake was delicious, and we received numerous compliments from our guests about the cake! Mason's is awesome!

OUTSTANDING!!! Our cake was not only beautiful, but tasted amazing! I had many people compliment the cake and admit that they had multiple pieces!! We may have even not saved the entire top tier because it was so good...:o)

My cake was absolutely delicious! It was moist, full of flavor, and beautiful!
Three tiers, squared, yellow icing with white ribbon and pearls. The top layer was fresh coconut and bananas, followed by the middle layer of strawberries and cream, and then German chocolate for the bottom layer. AMmm..zing!
Chris was very helpful in the decision making process when it came to flavor and design.

They offer free tastings with an appointment. They also offer delivery for a fee.
Upon delivering my cake at the weddng Chris let the parentals know of my cake stand mishap. Apparently there was a manufacture problem because they ordered two cake stands that also broke. I was very happy with how Chris handled the situation. It shows a lot about who he is as a businessman and also as a whole, what a great business Mason's Bakery is!

Mason's Bakery did an OUTSTANDING job on my wedding cake and groom's cake. They are extremely professional, creative, and talented. My wedding cake was absolutely breathtaking, and tasted incredible! I would not hesitate to recommend Mason's Bakery.

We got our cake with our package through Colonial Country Club. We had a four tier cake with conollie filling in two tiers and chocolate cake with white chocolate mouse filling. Our cake was delicious! We had a gator themed wedding so we had the blue and orange theme. Four square tiers with white frosting and white scrolling on the sides. Cobolt blue ribbon line the bottom of each layer and orange roses and white callie lillies were placed in small bunches on each layer. We had a small gator helmet on the top with the Football cake topper that had the girl on the guys back and the guy was going in for a touchdown. We also got our Groomsmen cake at Mason's which was a football field with the gator emblem in the middle. The cake was a strawberry filling which wa also yummy. Chris was very nice and flexiable. Thanks again!

Coming from Indiana and not getting to taste or see any samples, we took Mason's at face-value and trusted them. One phone call and then we mailed ribbon and silk flowers as well as a description of what we wanted. Not only was it the best cake ever, it was beautiful. Thanks for living up to your reputation.

Mason's was great! Our cake was perfect - exactly what we wanted - and tasted fabulous! Our guests loved it. There were only two slices left at the end of the night, a fact I was not aware of until later. Talk about one disappointed bride - if I had known those slices would have gone home with me! Its been a week and I'm still craving that cake!

Mason's was great with getting us taste tests of their cakes. They were all great pieces of cake! Also, it's wonderful that they will remake the top layer of your cake for you a year later (for your 1 year anniversary). They worked with us on flavors, and we even had them do a flavor they'd never done before (a cinnamon spice cake with chocolate filling). The one downfall of Mason's is that their frosting is the only thing they use. Although I would never want to do fondant on my wedding cake (I'm all about taste!), they could not do a fudge or anything for accents. My dream cake had white frosting with fudge scrollwork, and they simply were unable to do that with their frosting. We still had an absolutely stunning cake, but anything that has a lighter color frosting with accents in a darker color is out...

I was very happy with how delicious our cakes were. My wife wasn't too happy with how they were decorated, but in the end she didn't let it bother her because they were good to eat!

It was a pleasure to have our wedding cake and groom's cake done by Mason's Bakery. They didn't quite come out as I had envisioned, and my husband's cake definitely wasn't what we expected, but their cakes are still very yummy!

Maybe I'm just sentimental about my cake, but I think it was the best tasting wedding cake ever! It was actually the only thing I could eat that night. We ordered the yellow cake with key lime filling. I had created my own design and I stopped by the bakery a few days before the wedding to say I wasn't sure about it. Chris, the owner, said, "Yeah, I don't think you're going to be happy with the result." He told me about something else he wanted to do and at that point I was just like, "Whatever, just do it!" The result was unbelievably gorgeous and elegant...and tasty.

I do wish their delivery was more affordable, though.

Chris is the best! This cake was incredible and they don't use fondant. It was a cheesecake Heath Bar Crunch. He took his time with us and I would recommend him VERY highly!!!!!

The cake was exactly what I asked for, and not to mention absolutely delicious!!!!

The service was amazing! The cake tasting price was very reasonable, and included entire cakes that we could take home afterward. The variety of cakes was outstanding as well, and even included cheesecake!

Our cake from Mason's was delicious and beautiful. It was part of our package with our venue, so I can't comment too much about price/value, but the cake was delectable and it looked great.
We had no problems with delivery, and they even give you a free, fresh cake topper (an exact replica of your wedding day cake) on your first anniversary, which is a nice touch. There lead wedding cake guy is kind of hard to get in touch with, but with such a scrumptious, moist cake, it's all worthwhile.

I loved my wedding cake. It looked great and tasted amazing. They made it exactly like I wanted it.

The cake was beautiful and delicious. The variety of flavors they offer is excellent and the taste was great! They even give you an 8" cake for your 1 year anniversary, although we still saved the top to ours and ate it one year later, still delicious! I was very pleased with Mason's Bakery

The baker was friendly and courteous when we came to lok at designs and taste samples. I picked a gorgeous design and asked if it would be ok to add fresh-grown roses in a cascade down the side of the cake. He said that would be fine. The cake was delivered on time and the baker even arranged the flowers for us!
One bad thing- it was the wrong cake!!! I ordered a plain yellow cake and was surprised to taste a fruity flavor.
On our one-year anniversary the bakery made us a free reproduction of the top layer: yellow cake. I guess last-minute screw-ups happen, but wow. I'm glad that I didn't care too much about the flavor.
