Mayer's Bakery

Mayer's is an awesome bakery for wedding cakes! I had never been there, but they were on the list of vendors we were allowed to chose through our venue. We did our cake tasting one month before we ordered the cake. We worked with Esther- and she remembered exactly who we were one month later when ordering it! The cake was amazing, and tasted so good! My mom was so impressed with them that she ordered my bridal shower cake and cupcakes through them. I now make special trips out there just to pick up something sweet.

I can't believe we got this cake and service at such a low price- it really helped with us managing our budget. The cake was still excellent and our guests really loved it too. It tasted wonderful!

Great bakery. Not only was the cake DELICIOUS but they offer a free cake tasting and when you taste, you get HUGE pieces. YUM! :)

I called to change something small on my cake about two weeks before the wedding, and someone I spoke to seemed very confused which made me very nervous. However, the next day someone else called to confirm that everything was correct and she was very courteous and kind. All else with the cake was wonderful!! I strongly recommend this bakery!

This is the first place I went to for a cake tasting since they have a contract with my venue. Out of all the ones I went to, this was the worse one.

First, they don't allow you to choose your own flavors. They have it pre made in certain flavors and you can choose from them.

I did not like a single one of the flavors I tasted. Which is pretty rare because I love all things sweet!

Also they lack customer service. We were left alone many times and never offered any water and had to ask for forks.

After we left and were on our way to the second cake tasting we got a phone call from Mayer's asking us when we would be there for our appointment. Hello, we just left!

We selected this bakery because it was on the list of preferred vendors provided to us from our venue. It was a great choice!We made an appointment for a cake tasting and they offered us coffee and water, and several other things to taste. The staff was also helpful in suggesting designs for our cake, i.e. center, off-center, round or square.We chose a White Cake with Mango Mousse filling! It was the best wedding cake I have ever had and several people had commented on how flavorful the cake was! It's nice to have a cake that isn't strictly chocolate!This bakery also has several scrumptious desserts! Very Yummy!

I'd say that the cake was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. We even had guests who were allergic to chocolate but ate the cake anyway...."because it was too good to waste!"

The cake was superb. All of the flavors were great.

The cake tasting was delicious and the samples were freshly baked! Tess, the person who assisted us with our selection and order was so friendly, and a true professional; she knows her cakes! We truly enjoyed working with her and other staff members at the bakery. We couldn't afford to get fondant, so we opted for buttercream, and they made the cake look and taste amazing!

The Cake was delicious and arrived on time. It looked amazing and they made it exactly how I pictured!

Everyone was accomodating at Mayers. The cakes were awesome and was fresh and not dry. I liked how they gave you a choice of a square or round cake and different sizing for your cake shapes. They didn't penny pinch for every detail you wanted on your cake. There was not one cake we did not like during our tasting. French cream was our favorite but unfortunately, it is not white but cream colored. However, our cake pictures turned out nice and it being cream colored didn't seem to make it look different or make it look bad.

Our cake was included with our catering. We were given a choice between two places. Mayers Bakery was the first and only bakery we tried. The cake tasting was fun, but we already knew what we wanted going into it. We had a German chocolate cake, which was one of their choices. We paid extra for the chocolate fudge ganache icing, worth every penny. It was pretty, it was out of this world! We recommend this place all the time!
