McCallum Designs is a small florist located in the lobby of the Fairmont in San Francisco. Working with the owner, Erica, was an absolute pleasure. We had her do our wedding flowers, rehearsal dinner flowers and a few personal arrangements along the way. All of the flowers she provided were gorgeous and fresh and she is friendly, easy to work with and listens to what the client wants.
When it came to the rehearsal dinner flowers she went above and beyond. She went to the dinner venue to see what flowers and colors would work best in the space and mocked up six different options for us to choose from.
For the wedding flowers she instantly understood our vision. She provided recommendations when asked and replicated photos of what we wanted within our budget.
Being in the Fairmont lobby we expected the cost to match the location, but she was reasonable and comparable to other florists we looked at in San Francisco.
I would definitely recommend Erica and McCallum designs to create fresh, beautiful and classic floral arrangements for your wedding.
Erika is wonderful. She met with me multiple times as I continued to change my mind about the flowers. She patiently took ample notes as we chatted and cared about what I wanted. I think I accidentally said I did not want orchids in my arrangements instead of saying lilies, and lilies were in the ceremony alter flowers, but I didn't care because they still turned out beautifully. Erika is also reasonably priced and does not try to add on unexpected fees. She wrote up an estimate for me, but no contract, so I just took her estimate and turned it into a contract with total, deposit amount (25%), tax, and signatures. The day-of when she delivered the personal flowers, she gave me some timely emotional encouragement in the middle of hair/makeup stress.
I highly recommend Erika and have already referred her for a friend's wedding.
