When we met Jason we thought he was great, we got along well and he was exactly what we were looking for. But the day of the wedding something seemed.. off. Some bridesmaids were late and he worked with us but seemed a bit annoyed. I felt really really bad and continued to apologize. When it was time for the wedding he was on time and everything went well. The second the wedding was over he was gone, instantly. I understand that we were running a little behind but I didn't even feel like I had time to thank him. He also seemed like something was wrong, and didn't have the same attitude he did when we originally met him. He wrote a beautiful ceremony and worked with us every step of the way, answering questions and always on hand. I just wish he looked happier to be there, it was our wedding after all.

When meeting with clients we stress the importance of a timely rehearsal and ceremony start due to scheduling issues. This client requested a rehearsal and ceremony on the same day which we were happy to accommodate. Jason remained on site although the bridesmaids were 30 minutes late for the rehearsal which resulted in the Officiant remaining 30 minutes past the agreed time. The ceremony also started an hour late due to some reported logistical issues via the clients wedding party. During this delay Jason even helped the wedding planner and DJ fix the projector so the client could play their DVD they made. Jason performed the ceremony in the agreed manner and time frame for the client and even stayed for an after ceremony photo but had to leave rapidly due to other obligations.

It was so wonderful to have Jason be a part of our wedding! When we met with him the first time, we all just instantly clicked, and we knew it had to be him! Jason is so nice, accommodating and patient. He will work with you to give you exactly the ceremony you want but he is also able to make suggestions and help you if you have now idea where to start! There are just not enough words to express how happy we were with him and we know you will be happy to have him too!

Jason was amazing! We wanted a simply ceremony, short and sweet, and Jason provided us exactly that! He was extremely flexible, since we had to change the date of the rehearsal about a week before, but he made it work. We decided to do a wine box ceremony, and Jason walked us through it during rehearsal and made sure everything was set up properly for the ceremony. My 2 year old niece was one of our flower girls and during the ceremony she got bored (she is 2, after all). She started walking around us and look at everything, all the while Jason maintained a cool professionalism I was so thankful for! He is extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, but most importantly we both felt very comfortable around him. I would recommend Jason in heartbeat to all the future brides out there!

Jason did a wonderful job officiating our wedding a few weeks ago. He was very flexible and understanding when we decided to change from a civil union to a legal marrige about 2 weeks before the wedding. He was perfect!

There are not enough words to describe how AWESOME Jason is! We seriously had no idea what we wanted for our (non religious, short, sweet, non conventional) ceremony. We didn't know what vows we wanted, how long we wanted it to be, or even 'how' we wanted it, etc. We trusted Jason and left it all up to him to guide us. We didn't even have a rehearsal because we ran out of time! With no guidance whatsoever, Jason NAILED it! Our ceremony was more than we could of ever imagined. It was personal, sweet, funny, cute, sincere and best of all, our guests raved that it was the best wedding ceremony they have ever seen. I was so nervous right before it started, and Jason was so sweet and helped calm me down. We couldn't have picked a better officiant and I strongly recommend Jason!

Jason did an absolutely wonderful job at our wedding from the beginning until the end. He provided excellent service from the consultation, to the writing of the ceremony vows, arrived at the wedding early to make sure we were ready, performed a beautiful ceremony and followed up a few days later to congratulate and let us know that the marriage license had been sent off. We received SO many compliments on how it was short but very touching which was exactly what we wanted. We had the family ceremony that included our children (we are a combined family) in which they responded to vows in support of the marriage. Although we were short on time and couldnt have a rehearsal, he provided us with resources to help us out. He kept in touch to reassure us that he was ready. I'll recommend him to everyone. Jason McClaren is very soft spoken so it was a good thing Glenn had him miked. But he wrote a wonderful ceremony for Josh and I, and he kept it very short and sweet just like I had asked him. For me it was perfect.

Jason actually had a mild sore throat this week but overcame the condition in order to perform the ceremony. For this reason among others, we strongly recommend a microphone especially for outdoor ceremonies.
