DJ Nate was absolutely wonderful at our wedding! We were not picky on song selections and needed ideas, Nate was very patient and sent several popular/appropriate songs for us to review for use during our ceremony and reception. His recommendations for our outdoor wedding fit perfectly! Nate also did a fantastic job during the reception reading the crowd and keeping the music going. Carlton was more than we could have asked for. We got so many compliments throughout and after our wedding about how exceptional the music was at the wedding. Our one request from him was that he keep people on the dance floor. We wanted everyone engaged, dancing and having fun. He delivered!!! He made the entire process easy from our initial consultation through the execution of our event. The day of our wedding we had major changes that had to occur due to problems we incurred with our venue. Carlton didn't skip a beat. The music at your wedding/reception can either make or break the event. To say that Carlton "made" our reception is a gross under-statement. He did a fabulous job! I lost count of how many people came up to us and said "great music". Carlton was a perfect balance between professional and fun! Our ceremony was a little tricky since we flipped between Carlton and a live musician....but he handled it with grace and the ceremony was perfect! My husband loves country and I love radio station pop...strange combination but somehow Carlton made it work! The dance floor was on fire!!!! Everyone had a blast!! The best part is that we didn't have to worry about anything, Carlton took care of it! If you find a vendor that reduces your stress....waste NO TIME. Ask for a contract and sign it!!!

Carlton was absolutely fabulous! He met with my daughter and I twice before the wedding to review songs. At the last minute I needed to have a wireless mic outside for the wedding ceremony. He brought it with him - and I had no worries. When the dancing started, Carlton jumped onto the dance floor and joined the group for one of the songs. He was very professional and fun!!!!!

Milton did an awesome job as a DJ for our wedding! He was fun, involved, played all the music we requested and stayed away from our dislikes. Definitely a great DJ to hire!!

Nate of McGee Entertainment provided us music and served as the MC of our daughters wedding ceremony and reception and we couldn't have been more satisfied. Having been to previous receptions where the DJs tried too hard to force audience participation we were very happy with Nate's laid back approach as per our request. He played our play list and kept in frequent contact with me to ensure that I was getting what I wanted. It seemed he had a talent for reading the crowd and keeping things at the proper level. He kept our event on the timeline without it ever feeling rushed. Leading up to the event, Nate ensured we had several contacts by email and phone (we don't live in the same city) so that before we even arrived we felt like we knew him. The equipment produced a good sound, wireless microphone was always available, and he was able to always be in the 'background' instead of being a focal point. I would recommend McGee Entertainment for any event and specifically Nate if available.

I’m so happy that Carlton was our DJ. From the ceremony to the reception, everything was perfect. They say a DJ can make the reception, well that’s exactly what Carlton did, he made it the best!!! From the planning stages, I knew that we made the right decision going with McGee Entertainment. Carlton was great about returning calls and getting back to me (we communicated a lot through email since we were travelling from out of town). He was also very open to our suggestions and helped guide us along the way in planning the order of our reception. I liked that he was honest and said what would and wouldn’t work….he is the expert after all. From the moment I met Carlton in person, he was like an old friend. We LOVED Carlton - and most importantly - our guests loved him! He did an amazing job - the dance floor was so packed, you could feel the floor shaking. There were people dancing from the moment they entered the reception room till the moment they prepared everyone for our exit :) Which, when it was delayed by almost an hour - Carlton kept his cool, kept playing music - nobody even noticed anything was delayed!

We planned our wedding from out of town and one of the goals for my wedding was that it would be a big party all our guests would enjoy. The Prelude, the processionals, their recess, the intros. . . .and thank you for not letting us lapse during the dinner service!! Milton, the DJ for our wedding ceremony and reception, custom tailored the entire event to meet our exact vision on how the evening would go. He played hard-to-find tracks for our ceremony, seperate genres for the cocktail hour and dinner, had every key song organized and timed perfectly, and had the dance floor packed all night with all the classic hits we wanted to hear. McGee Entertainment is the best there is North Florida. Unlike, some of the other DJs that we met with that were corny or seemed out of touch(not everyone wants to do the Chicken Dance or reenact scenes from "Grease" at their wedding), Carlton was so cool and professional during all of our meetings. He actually listened to what we wanted our reception to be, and when the day came, he delivered. We had the time of our lives. Carlton kept the event running smoothly, managing the event timeline, playing our special requests, and he had our guests dancing the night away.

McGee provided the music for my outdoor ceremony and indoor reception at Walker's Landing. My fiance and I provided a must play list with all the ceremony and reception songs/dances. We also had a must play list for cocktail hour and dancing. Milton played the songs we requested and did a great job deciding which songs to play and when. Everyone was on the dance floor and I have gotten a lot of feed back from guests that they loved the music. McGee Entertainment was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them.

I was so worried that no one would dance at my June 12 brunch reception. Milton assured me that they would and he was right!! I received SO many compliment about the music and DJ. Our wedding was 28 May 2011 and OMG! Words cannot express the gratitude we felt on our wedding day. They exceeded our expectations and the service was impeccable. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional crew throughout the entire process. I was looking for a DJ for my wedding reception. I was referred to McGee entertainment through a friend and I also saw their company name on the preferred vendors list of several of the venues I visited. I contacted the company via email and within the hour I was contacted by Carlton McGee. He was very professional. I was really clueless in regard to the services they offer. He went over everything with me from set up to tear down. If at anytime I had a question, they were available to answer them. And the price…. REASONABLE!! I was assigned Milton McGee. Milton contacted me and we discussed the specifics of the reception, type of music I wanted to hear etc. We went over the names and pronunciations of them. On the day of the wedding he arrived on time, which was important to me, and had everything set up before the cocktail hour. During the introductions, he introduced my wedding party while putting his unique spin on them and I loved it! I told Milton, after all of the formal dances 1st dance, father daughter etc. I wanted my guest on the floor dancing the entire time. This man gave me everything I asked for and more. My music was primarily Hip Hop and R&B. I also asked him to switch it up a bit and play some pop, old school for my parents and to use his better judgment and switch up the music however he saw fit to keep people on the floor. Milton delivered!! He did all that and honored the many requests of my guests. He played a variety of music. That man is skilled in his profession and can surely improvise when necessary! My guests danced the entire time and they are still talking about how much fun they had and how they danced the night away at my wedding. If you are looking for a DJ to just spin a few records they can do that, but if you are looking for a Master of Ceremony, and entertainer, and artiste, McGee Entertainment is the way to go. If I am ever in need of any entertainment/DJ type services, I will call on McGee Entertainment!

We worked with Carlton, who originally was contracted to do just our reception. When we found out our wedding musician wouldn't be available like we thought, we asked Carlton to do our wedding as well. We were extremely pleased with the service Carlton provided and were very happy with him. He was very professional and always listened to what we wanted. He was always available to us either by email or phone and scheduled our meetings for when we were available. He played everything we asked for, stayed away from what we didn't want played and kept our guests on the dance floor all night, and even joined them at some points in the evening. Everything we read about Carlton was true and we were so happy to have been able to have him available. You won't go wrong with Carlton. We would, and have been, recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ.

I had DJ McGee at my wedding and I was very happy with his services. He was very accomodating to meet with us on short notice when we happened to be in the area. His personality is so vibrant you can't help but smile when you are around him. We were smiling the entire time we were considering him for a DJ. We thought if he can do that for us, he can definitely do that for our guests. At our event we changed our first entrance to include some others last minute and he was more than happy to quickly make the changes. I'm not a big music buff and never know what I wanted. There were a few songs I didn't like that he played but with little imput from us, he did a great job. He has a fantastic website that allows you to imput songs you like as you think of it. A great tool if you know what you want. He saw that our crowd was big into the electric slide so he taught my guests another variation with no imput from us. He was great at reading the crowd and determining the needs. I highly recommend getting DJ McGee as he's the one in charge of the whole company and excellent to work with.

Milton DJ'd for our wedding on 5/22. He was fantastic. Everyone kept telling me how great a time they were having. There were always people on the dance floor. I absolutely loved working with them!!

It was such a pleasure having Carlton as our DJ for our wedding this March. I truly believe he created the perfect atmosphere for each and every special moment of our night. I have never before, or since then, been to a wedding that has such a positive feeling or has more people on the dance floor. He helped keep the evening moving smoothly, but didn't make himself a spectacle. He interacted with the guests in the most professional manner. He also had no problem finding all of the songs that were important to us and filled in the spaces with the perfect blend of our tastes. Finding the best DJ was at the top of our wedding to-do list (after the dress). We wanted to make sure our guests had a great night and we knew finding the right DJ was key to achieving the best party. The dance floor was packed the entire night - we could have used a bigger dance floor! Men who didn't dance at their own weddings were spinning their wives around. Our youngest guest was five years old, our oldest in their nineties. Everyone had a great time, we haven't had one complaint, and I couldn't be happier with the service. When one or two songs didn't seem to work as well as the others, they were immediately faded out and replaced with something better. It was the best night ever. We absolutely love this company :-)

McGee DJ services is perfect... and honestly so much more than just a DJ. Jerry was our DJ and he went way above and beyond of what we expected. He ended up seeming more like the Coordinator for our wedding. He got guests to and from where they needed to be and kept the party moving. Carlton was amazing! We gave him a list of songs we liked and talked about a few more and he played everything we asked. He was also a fantastic Master of Ceremonies. Our wedding reception was a blast and that was due in very large part to Carlton and McGee Entertainment. :)

When I was planning my wedding I was told to get the best and that the best was McGee Entertainment. I must say that was sooo true. Our DJ was Jerry and he was excellent. He met with me prior to the wedding and we sat for 2 hours going over the music selection. I didn't want to pick out every song so I trusted that he would play a selection of music that everyone could enjoy. The wedding reception was a hit and Jerry kept the dance floor packed.

Nothing but good things with this vendor! Exceptional service and a true professional! Everyone was so pleased with his work! I didn't need to worry about needing to micro-manage his work, he could evaluate the different times in the night when guests were dancing and play the most appropriate songs to get people moving if everyone was sitting!

It was raining the day of our [originally planned] outdoor ceremony. Our event coordinator moved the ceremony in-doors, but about 1 hour before the beginning of the ceremony the rain cleared up. We changed the wedding back outside but in a different spot (about 100 - 150 feet) away from the originally planned ceremony location, due to the wet lawn. So not only did McGee set-up all his equipment in time, the Bose speakers projected so well and clear it felt as if the equipment was 10 feet away from me. And during the reception, he was interactive, teaching all of us how to due the dances to the group songs. But most of all he stuck to the song genre and kept the party going. I couldn't have asked for a better master of ceremony. The wedding was perfect and McGee helped immensely.

AWESOME!!!! Carlton was a fantastic DJ. Our wedding was so much fun!! Everyone was dancing the entire night. My step-mother tried to pay him to stay another hour!!! NO ONE wanted it to end! We got SO many compliments the next day from all our guests. My cousin said, "if all weddings were that fun, I'd go to them every weekend!". I would HIGHLY recommend him to EVERYONE!!!! AWESOME!!!!!! I can't say it enough!!!

Carlton was absolutely amazing, from start to finish! He made the whole process of selecting music completely painless, was able to offer wonderful suggestions when we couldn't think of songs, and fit our style completely. Everyone at our wedding raved about the music, from teenage cousins to grandparents. My 83-year-old grandfather was having such a great time that he even got up and danced! We had such a nice selection of music, from big band to classic rock to hip hop that everyone found something they liked, and more importantly, he was very respectful about what music we didn't want played. I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat!

We loved that we were able to go online prior to our wedding and choose songs for different playlists (bride/groom want to be on dancefloor when played, want a song played but bride/groom don't have to be on dance floor, do not playlist, etc.).

The quality of the equipment was fantastic.

Carlton was by far the easiest and most professional vendor we had the opportunity of working with. He made the planning process a breeze, listened to all our concerns/requests, and exceeded all of our expectations. Carlton provided music at our ceremony, cocktail hour and at our reception. He knew how to keep everyone on the dance floor, was not pushy, but helped move the reception along smoothly. He even provided us with a CD at the end of the night with all of our important songs on it. Carlton also helped coordinate a surprise video toast for my husband from his brothers who are on military deployment. He helped keep it a surprise and everyone loved how he did it so incognito… I probably could not have pulled it off without his help.
