Best steaks ever! They treat, marinate, cut, etc. the meat themselves. They have plenty of appetizers and wines to choose from. We actually chose to go the restaurant ourselves because of the great atmosphere.

My groom-to-be and I absolutely love McGuire's Irish Pub in Destin! This has always been a place to visit each time we go to Destin (5 to 6 times a year) so there was no question on where our rehearsal dinner would be when we got engaged and started planning out Destination Wedding. If you can, try to work Walter (bartender) in to your evening in Destin/Rehearsal Dinner and ask for his goldfish!

Established in 1977, McGuire's is one of Florida's top restaurants, winning Florida Trend Magazine's Golden Spoon Award for the past thirteen years and recipient of the Wine Spectator Magazine Award of Excellence for the past eleven years. McGuire's Irish Pub first opened in 1977 as a small neighborhood pub in a shopping center. McGuire cooked and tended bar and Molly waited tables and greeted customers. When Molly made her first tip -one dollar- she tacked it to the back bar for good luck. Friends of the pub added to the collection and it soon became tradition. Today you will see over $550,000 one dollar bills hanging from the ceiling throughout the Pub, all of which have been signed by Irishmen of all nationalities.
In 1982 McGuire's moved to its current location, Pensacola's original 1927 Old Firehouse. The old "firehouse" look has become a true landmark, and inside the pub, a turn-of-the-century, New York Irish Saloon theme reigns. Guests are often in "awe" as they pass through the theme-oriented rooms at McGuire's. Whether it's the Pipers Den, Notre Dame Room, The Irish Links Room or the Ruprecht O'Tolf Wine Cellar, McGuire's Irish Pub is a 400-seat, 20,000 square foot landmark with a staff of over 200 warm and friendly faces.
In 1996, Mcguire's Irish Pub of Destin, opened in Harborview Center in the beautiful Emerald Coast city of Destin. Following in the original pub's footsteps - McGuires of Destin serves up the same great food, along with the fun and lively McGuire's atmosphere. Situated on Destin Harbor, you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets from our deck, while enjoying more of the best live Irish entertainment. Southern Living Magazine says we're “famous for steaks,” and we were named Steak House of the Year by the National Beef Council in 1998. McGuire's is one of a select few restaurants in America to serve U.S.D.A. Certified Prime Steaks. Less than 5% of all beef is good enough to be graded “Prime” by the United States Department of Agriculture. McGuire's steaks are Certified Angus Corn-fed beef, never frozen and hand cut daily. There is no better steak.
Our seafood is fresh from the Gulf and around the world and includes Live Maine Lobster, Yellow Fin Tuna Steak, Pensacola Red Snapper, Galway Salmon, and of course, fresh Gulf Shrimp.
