Meadowlark Golf Club

Meadowlark is a beautiful venue and I loved that we had the whole upstairs room to ourselves. They also arranged for us to have a horse and carriage bring us from the church to the reception. When we met with them and signed the contract everything was great. When we went back weeks before the wedding to finalze everything, there were several things that she left off and then tried to charge us extra for. We eneded up working it out but it was frustrating. The day of our wedding they used the wrong color linens and told me they didnt to the set up and didn't know how it happened. Although it didn't ruin our wedding, it was upsetting. My husband and I spend months afterwards calling them until they finally refunded our money for the linens. The food was good but by the time they got to some people it was cold. Overall, the venue was great and our wedding turned out wonderful. I would recommend Meadowlark, the staff is very nice. I would just make sure that they understand everything you want, so they dont make any mistakes.

I booked with Meadowlark about 4 months ago and so far Pamela has been AMAZING! She answers all my cooky questions and gives me tips and pointers on so much. The site is just beautiful and I absolutely LOVE the fabulous staircase! It's totally what sold me on the location! Our ceremony will be outside on the actual golf course with a backdrop of trees and greenery =] The reception will be in the ballroom that seats 240 people. Our guest list is about 200 so it works. Totally excited!! =]

Meadowlark Golf Course was my ideal place to be married. It has gorgeous landscaping and a beautiful ballroom. I loved working with Pamela, the catering director, she was easy to get a hold of and made sure my husband and I had everything we could ever need. Plus, every time we went into Meadowlark to meet with her or another vendor she bought us lunch/dinner/drinks!

I would feel very confident recommending Meadowlark to any bride. Meadowlark is a wonderful facility to get married. The ceremony location is very beautiful, surrounded by the green grass and trees. I feel in love with the reception room as soon as I saw it; the large windows, amazing view, high ceilings, and outside terrace make it the perfect location. Meadowlark had everything I was looking for in a wedding facility; and the price of the venue was icing on the cake. We worked primarily with Pamela, and she was amazing! Pamela was a dream come true for any bride. She worked with us so closely and always made sure I was happy. She was very realiable and flexible and I always knew that things would run smoothly because of her.

While our wedding turned out great it was still a bit of a fight with those involved here at Meadowlark. They start telling you things after you've signed about how you can reduce the cost of your event by doing certain things yourselves. Well what they don't seem to tell you is that while you would be spending less with them at the venue you would be spending more overall by trying to do it yourself. The food was good and the room was beautiful but they had also booked a birthday party for a 21 year-old in the bar downstairs which was pretty tacky.

If you are looking for a venue that is beautiful with great service then Meadowlark Golf Club is your place. Everyone that attended our wedding commented on the how nice the venue was and the great service. Really great food too! Pamela the food & beverage director is so wonderful.

Our experience with Meadowlark started out great. My mom and I stopped by one afternoon and I fell in love with the place. It is a nice building with a nice view. One of the great things about Meadowlark is that you have the whole 2-story building to yourself when the golf course closes. We really didn't want to be in a huge hotel with several weddings or other events going on at once. Anyhow, one of the staff members, Jessica, was wonderful. She was very personable and reassuring. The other woman was fake and didn't always seem like she cared about what we wanted. I am not sure if either of the two work there anymore. My biggest complaint is what happened the night of our wedding. After going over all the details of the reception (our ceremony was held elsewhere) the week before, and even the day before our wedding, the staff at Meadowlark made several mistakes. My husband's father was given the wrong dinner plate, twice. We never got cake at our sweetheart table. But the worst of it was our grand entrance- We had discussed that the slide show projector and screen would need to be moved before our entrance to make room on the dance floor for our first dance. As we entered and I went to hand off my flowers for our beautiful moment, we saw them both still on the dance floor. Now we have pictures of my husband and I frantically pointing and making distorted faces while trying to get our family members to do what Meadowlark had failed to do. If you are willing to risk your big night, and want to save your money, Meadowlark's prices can't be beat. In this case, I think we got what we paid for.

The catering managers and staff at Meadowlark handled our wedding with professionalism and courtesy. They made our wedding stress free. This location was recommended to me and I can see why it's a great place for events. I'm happy to recommend them to anyone.

They did a great job of taking care of us. Everyone was very professional and friendly, which made the whole process that much easier. My only feedback was that I wished someone would have told us that the chocolate fountain would only be there for 3 hours. They showed up at the beginning of the cocktail hour and left right after dinner. Had we known, we would have asked that they arrive later in the evening so we could have the chocolate treats after dinner and later in the evening. But everything else was beautiful and went smoothly.

The location was absolutly beautiful. For a gal on a budget, the room far exceeded what I was expecting. It looked far more expensive than what I paid. Not to mention, the food was perfect and glam!
