Everyone at our wedding LOVED Mebo Photobooth and although I wish more people had signed the scrapbook/known about it and how to make a page in our scrapbook, the number of props Mebo brings really adds to the fun. Also the fact that they are so unique in having an open booth and not the traditional closed off booth helped everyone get more into it and have more fun. They also are one of the few that print each individual a copy of the photostrip! The two people really knew how to get people ready and through the shots because at times there was a line for the photobooth, but my mom was so impressed as to how they got people through and didn't waste time (which is good considering we could only afford them for 4/5 hours instead of the entire night). Overall I'd definitely recommend Mebo Photobooth since their pictures came out so great and the scrapbook was sent in a VERY timely manner :)

We hired Mebo Photo for our wedding reception on Sept 24, 2011 and it was one of the best decisions we made! They were professional, super fun, flexible and really created such a fun atmosphere at our event. Our family and friends couldn't stop talking about how much fun the photo booth was. I choose Mebo Photo because I had seen the pics they had posted on a friends Facebook page and I was really impressed at the quality and creativeness of the pictures. I was just as impressed with ours, they did an awesome job and stand out among alot of other photo booth companies. They also have a really competitive pricing. I highly recommend them, they will make the night so much fun!

Gotta say... after seeing Mebo Photobooth at other friend's weddings, we could not wait to have them at our own wedding! I knew our guests were going to have a blast and they surely did! Neilsen and Lucy were superb to work with and so professional. Lucy was great at encouraging our guests with poses and ideas for their pictures. Most of all... ALL our guest raved about how great it was for EACH PERSON to get a photo strip... not just 2 prints, like other photo booths, but EVERYONE! It does not get more awesome than that! (If I had another wedding, they would be the 1st vendor I would book!)
We told our guests "the best photo booth picture/pose will get a prize"... little did I know they would attempt to PACK in about 22 people into that single shot! I must say, it was memorable. Where else can you fit more than 4 people into a booth! (We only wish we had more time to spend in the photo booth ourselves.) You will not regret hiring Mebo Photobooth at your wedding.

Mebo Photobooth was definitely one of the highlights for the guests at our wedding! From the setup to cleanup, Neilsen and Lucy were beyond accommodating and professional. They were at the venue, set up and ready to go, on time and stayed a little longer just so my husband and I could take our own pictures. We could tell it was a hit because the line for it was very long the whole night. Also, after the pictures came out on Facebook, we had several friends raving about how they came out.
We chose the package that came with the scrapbook, and I'm really glad we did! The scrapbook is beautiful, and the messages that related to the pictures were so fun to read. Not only that, but Neilsen and Lucy made sure to get all the materials to us before we moved away from America.
Mebo Photobooth was the first vendor we chose, and we are so glad they were part of our big day!
At first we were hesitant on hiring a photobooth because we didn't like we saw. Alot of times what you see is a max of 4 people in front of the screen with half their faces cut off. We have 6 bridesmaids, 6 groomsmen and a BIG family...we wanted more than 4 people in one picture at all times!
MEBO saved the day! 10-15 bodies can fit because what they provide was a white backdrop for you to stand in front of and NO BOX/BOOTH (being the fashionista, a neutral background was VERY important), unlimited prints (usually companies give you two strips) and an endless amount of cool props! Which other photobooth company will allow my husband to be flipped upside down with ten friends in the back?! Their picture quality is also unbelievable! It looks like it was taken by a professional photog.
What I liked most about this company was the husband and wife team (Neilsen and Lucy). Neilsen did a wonderful job on our logo! It matched our vintage invites that were sent out...lace and all! He also sent multiple proofs with different color and text options. Lucy was the happiest/friendliest gal I've ever met! Our guests loved her! She gave our guests (myself included) cool and fun ideas when we got stuck and guided us on how to execute the perfect jumping picture. Even the older adults couldn't stop going to get their picture taken!
We love MEBO! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I can't speak highly enough of Mebo Photo. Neilsen and Lucy were the best, most fun part of my wedding (and we had an open bar, people). The photo booth was SO MUCH FUN - all of my guests enjoyed it. They had awesome props, a wonderful set up, and great ideas. The pictures are absolutely beautiful/hilarious/silly.
I had debated between doing a "memory booth" or a traditional photo booth, and I definitely made the right choice. Mebo Photo was the best decision I made when planning my wedding (besides picking my husband, of course) - I'd choose them again a hundred times.
Their set up for the scrap book was fabulous, the pages that our guests made for us are BEAUTIFUL - way better than any boring old guest book.
Overall, Mebo Photo was amazing, they totally exceeded my expectations.

As a service provider myself (invitation calligraphy), I understand good quality service and what it means to put the client's interests/needs first. I've attended events where Mebo Photography provided the photobooth services and the quality of their service AND photobooth setup was amazing. They provide countless props for their guests - the most creative and unique ones I've seen.
The friendly and professional couple who run Mebo photography are really knowledgeable in what they do and were so helpful with the guests in ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves. The wife does a great job at helping out the guests pose or pick props if they are uncertain of what to do. As a guest myself, I really appreciated being treated well by a vendor which ultimately made the event itself enjoyable.
(I believe my overall rating looks like a 4/5 stars because I could not rate the "value for cost" since I am not fully aware of what that is like since I am not a direct client who hired Mebo Photography)

Lucy and Neilsen from Mebophoto were great! They were great at posing us and giving us ideas and suggestions and we ended up with some really crazy poses! They added so much fun to the wedding!
Mebo booth by far is the most unique photobooth we have EVER seen. So many people LOVED their service at the wedding we recently photographed form. Lucy and Neilsen worked together seemly to make sure all the guests are having a great time. A lot of the time the guests have tons of ideas already (with soooo many props that Mebo provides).... but at times when the guests gets stuck, Lucy was there to inject her ideas. Neilsen comes from a photography background (like ourselves), so he used that knowledge to setup his equipment and have a professional studio light in his photobooth. The studio light makes a world of difference.... Photos look just as sharp and beautiful like the photos we take, these are not your typical "photobooth quality photos!" Also, the guests looks into a HUGE LCD TV screen, not a tiny little box... They truly took a great photobooth design and brought it to the next level! Both Lucy and Neilsen were very friend and easy to work with. We highly recommend Mebo Photobooth!

FAQ for Mebo Photobooth
MeBo is short for Memory Booth! If you can’t tell, we’re all about making memories! We create the opportunity, you bring the guests. The result? awesome memories you’ll look back on and get a kick out of!
How are your “Memory Booths” different from traditional photo booths?
We don’t pretend to have re-invented the wheel here. The idea is almost the same: have a setup where guests can get together and take some (often) crazy pictures of themselves having fun! So what’s the difference? In a word: technology! Taking advantage of super high quality digital SLRs and lenses available today, adding in professional studio lighting (a big step up from the lighting you’ll find in a traditional photo booth), and providing a much more open space for them to move around in, what you’ve got are results similar to the traditional photo booths, but much with higher quality and potential for creativity!
High quality image files are saved for you to use however you like (greeting cards, thank you cards, albums, etc…). Props get your guests’ creative juices flowing. The wider space makes ideas for dynamic poses practically endless! A remote control allows them to control when the image is made. An LCD TV gives them immediate feedback so they’re encouraged to try even more ideas! You’ll literally have people lining up for their turn!
Basically, we’ve taken a great idea to begin with and kept up with the times! Not really new…but definitely improved!
Why should I get a memory booth for my wedding?
To answer that question, consider this thought: your wedding is a special day. Not only is it a day where two individuals are joined together as one, but it is a day where two separate families, two communities of friends, are brought together. Many of them, you will not see again for months or even years. And chances are, you will never again have this opportunity where all these loved ones are gathered together to focus in on you and to celebrate with you.
The question then is, don’t you want to have something to remember them by? In 30 years, when signatures in a guest book become just a list of names, when the details of decorations, venues, menus, etc, have all but faded from your mind, wouldn’t you like to be able to remember (and even visualize!) one of the most important parts of your wedding day–the family and friends who came out to support and celebrate with you?
For us and our wedding, the answers to those questions were a resounding ‘yes!’ And we have a feeling the same might hold true for you too!
How long does it take to set-up?
It takes us about 45 minutes to get everything set up and tested (and roughly the same to pack up). We always make sure everything is perfectly ready before call time. So please note that we’ll need access to your venue at least that much in advance.
Do I need to provide or do anything for the Memory Booth?
Nope! All you need to do is have a space reserved for us to set up and then leave the rest up to us!
How much space do you need to set up a Memory Booth?
We’ll take as much space as you can give us! At a minimum though, we’ll need an 8 ft x 8 ft space set aside to fit everything in. Unlike traditional photobooths, our setup is complete with professional studio lighting and backdrop, which require a little extra floor space. If you add on some of the extras we offer (such as printing on-site), we’ll need additional space for the extra equipment.
Are the Memory Booths manned?
Yes they are! Two of us will be there to make sure everything runs smoothly. We’ll offer suggestions when people are stuck on poses (though that’s rarely an issue!), make sure everybody gets a turn (sometimes people just can’t get enough!), and of course also take care any photo printing that’s requested.
Do you do also offer wedding photography services (non-Memory Booth)?
Wedding photography really is an art and we don’t take it lightly at all. We have had experience shooting a few weddings and have decided that that’s best left up to those who absolutely love doing it! And as for us, we stick to what we love doing: Memory Booths!
We know there are some photographers who do both. Having also been in that situation, we’ve realized how difficult it is to run back and forth between you (the stars of the occasion) and your guests (also important!). We’re here to complement the photographer you’ve already hired. Let them focus on capturing magical moments centered around you. We’ll make sure we don’t miss the fun that happens in the background!
How early do I need to reserve my spot?
The earlier, the better! Shoot us an email and we’ll let you know if the date is still available!
How much does all this cost?
Take a look at our pricing page! Our base package starts at $500 and each add-on has its own specific pricing. We want to cater to you and your needs so feel free to ask about any of our packages!
Do you charge for prints?
We understand that this is a question that elicits different responses from different photographers and we don’t claim to have the “right” answer or approach. Our mentality is simply this: on your wedding day, when your guests are there to celebrate with you, we don’t want them dealing with placing orders, finding change, or anything that would distract them from the main focus: you! That’s why, after your wedding, we make available online all of the pictures that were taken!
Not only do you receive a DVD of all your pictures, we put all of the pictures taken during your wedding on our website for downloading. We also place them on our Facebook page so that they can quickly share all the fun pictures in their own online communities. Finally, we upload the pictures to Snapfish where they can quickly and easily order prints at bargain prices (prices not set by us and we do not profit from any orders they place there).
And of course, if you request the printing add-ons, we’ll have everything ready so your guests get immediate printouts to take home with them.
Are you available for events besides weddings?
You bet we’re open to other types of events! If you want memories captured, we’re there! That means office parties, school events, sweet 16s, quinceneras, bar/bat mitzvahs, engagements, graduations, reunions, etc. Basically, if you’ve got people gathered and you want some crazy photo taking, memory making fun, that’s what we’re all about! Where are you located? And how far are you willing to travel?
We currently serve the Los Angeles and Orange counties. For events outside this area, there will be an extra cost to cover transportation expenses. Please contact us directly for your specific needs!
