I was the last minute bride who showed up without a clue as to what I wanted. I found the perfect dress from their huge selection within 30 minutes! Barbara was fantastic to work with and always had a smile. A rush order had to be placed and my dress arrived 2 weeks earlier than I was quoted. Once again, Barbara was there to assist me with a smile! I may have found a dress elsewhere for less but the perfect dress combined with a wonderful experience was well worth the amount spent! They were recommended to me and I'd certainly recommend them to everyone else!

I had an appointment to go in on a Saturday to look for dresses. My mom and sister accompanied me and we had a wonderful experience. Barbara did a great job of giving us space and time to look around, then helped us pull dresses we might not have considered but looked wonderful on. I purchased my dress at the very end of March and it arrived towards the end of September. They also did my fittings and I was pleased with the result after the alterations. The dress was pressed, cleaned and packaged very nicely.

I really enjoyed my experience at Mecklenburg Bridal. I had Barbara as my consultant and she was amazingly friendly and helpful. I like that the store has dresses arranged by style, rather than designers like other stores - this helped me really zone in on exactly what I was looking for. And I also liked that I was able to pick whatever and how ever many dresses that I wanted. I never felt pressured or rushed, like I felt at two other stores I visited. And while it was a busy Saturday, I still felt like I got plenty of attention. I love, LOVE my dress and cannot wait to see it when it comes in!

My consultant was Shalita and she was so patient, professional, and a joy to work with. Shalita followed up with me on my orders and was very hands on throughout the entire process. We ordered my dress, the flower girl dresses, veil, and accessories from Mecklenburg Bridal. Thanks to the professionalism of Shalita the entire ordering process was easy too. I recommend Mecklenburg Bridal to any bride-to-be. I'm sure she will be just as pleased I was.

I was so nervous about shopping for a dress, but Barbara at Mecklenburg Bridal made it such a great experience. They have a great selection of beautiful dresses, and I didn't feel pressured or rushed while shopping at all. Everyone was so friendly, and very professional.

Loved everything about my experience working with them. They were so great to work with and just really took care of both my mother and me while we looked for dresses. We actually started here because they were one of the only places that carried the designer I was looking for and ended up trying on only 8 or 10 dresses before finding the perfect one. They were very patient and allowed me to think about it and come in again to try it on one more time in order to make my decision.

What I loved most about the experience was the quality of the alterations. The woman they have their doing alterations is AMAZING and did such a fantastic job making sure my dress fit perfectly and was so flattering on me. Additionally the lady they have that does veils helped us restore my heirloom veil to near perfection.

My mother had a harder time then I did finding a dress and they were so great to her and worked hard to make sure she felt as good as I did in her dress on my wedding day!

Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery was the first and last place I went to find my dress. I spent approximately four hours searching for the right dress, but the sales associate who helped me, Claudia, was wonderful and extremely patient. I told her some of my ideas and she ended up picking me out the most perfect dress. They were able to get my dress in just in time and alterations were done by a wonderful woman who works there at the store. Everything worked out perfectly! Unlike other stores, I didn't have to make an appointment to go look for a dress. I would strongly recommend this great bridal gallery to any bride searching for their perfect dress!

Mecklenburg Bridal was great! They were so great in helping me find the perfect dress for my special day. The whole staff was friendly and patient in helping me choose earrings and shoes too. I recommend this vendor to anyone around the area looking for a great selection in great priced dresses!

Thanks to Barbara at Mecklenburg Bridal, I had the most wonderful gown shopping experience. I had worked with other consultants at the store, but Barbara was there from day one. She helped everything go along so smoothly. Every time I spoke with Barbara, she instantly put a smile on my face. If I ever had any questions I knew exactly who to call. My dress was not only beautiful, but also affordable. Linda in alterations did amazing work and made my dress fit as if it was custom made. On my wedding day, I felt like a beautiful bride.

Susanne and the other members of the Mecklenburg Bridal team were wonderful to work with. They did a great job helping me select the gown that was perfect for me. The alterations staff were also great. They got the dress right the first time so I did not have to make multiple trips to keep trying it on.

I bought my dress from Mecklenburg Bridal and also got all of my wedding party dresses from here. We also ordered shoes and things like that. The service was excellent at first and then my dress came in too short. The reaction was a bit rocky initially, but, it got a little better. The situation was resolved in a timely manner thanks to Karen, the owner. I would recommend working with her if you have an issue because otherwise you will get the run around. The other staff in the store seems to be friendly until you get on their nerves. Also, when things come in they arent on top of calling and informing of arrival. Overall, the experience was not bad but there were just disconnects. Would highly recommend Jet who works in the store occasionally to sell veils. She does not work for Mecklenburg Bridal.

I purchased my wedding gown at Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery. Although I am thankful that I went there because I found my dream dress at a great price, I wouldn't necessarily recommend this shop to future brides.

The shop lacked character and the sales staff is not very friendly. I really felt like I was fending for myself in there, versus other dress shops where the sales person was there for me every step of the way (Poffie Girls in Gastonia and Classic Bridal and Formal in Davidson).

When I went for my appointment for a veil, I was told that I either had to change into my dress in the bathroom or be very very quick with the dressing room (as someone else had an appointment to try on dresses---although I also had an appointment to try on veils with my dress). The whole experience felt rushed and the woman selling veils was rude---until she thought she would be able to sell me one (when she became very transparently friendly).

If you are looking for a decent price on a dress, Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery can definitely offer that. But if you are going for the whole experience (and dresses that aren't badly priced either), I would recommend Poffie Girls or Classic Bridal and Formal in Davidson (which has recently moved to Cornelius.)

Jet Taylor, who formally worked out of Mecklenberg Bridal, is truly an artist with lace and gemstones! She reworked my mother's veil and turned it into a perfect accessory for my wedding day. Jet and I removed the 1980's headband and lace and then she hand stitched lace removed from the long bell sleeves of my matching bolero. Everything about the resulting veil was perfect, from my 'something old' to the super grip hair comb.
I highly endorse this wonderful woman, but I did choose not to do business with Mecklenburg Bridal, where Jet Taylor previously had her shop.

I came in to look at dresses at Mecklenburg Bridal and I had an amazing experience! We were helped by Kay who was so nice and helpful!! She let us look through the dresses and pick out the ones we liked which we loved! When we were looking at a dress on, she would say how nice it looked and would give my mother and I time to talk it over ourselves. We found the dress that day and they were so great with helping me that my bridal party and mother all got there dresses there too! Everything came in on time and alterations done on the dresses looked and fit great! I tell every bride I know to go to Mecklenburg Bridal! GREAT PRICES, AMAZING SERVICES, AND BEAUTIFUL DRESSES!

We had problems with the appointment and with the alterations. I loved the dress but wish I could have purchased it from someone else.

On the hunt for my wedding gown, I had no clue as to what I liked. I ended up falling in love with a beautiful, strapless, lace gown with a gorgeous lace train. Mecklenburg Bridal had a vast selection of wedding dresses and they were extremely friendly about my “dig in and try every single one on” approach. I liked the fact that they guided me into how to select my dress and didn’t just leave me to fend for myself.

Once I found my perfect dress, I was even able to bargain a bit with them to get the price reduced a bit. They were a great bridal boutique to work with and I was happy to do business with them. I also ended up getting my veil there from Jet. Overall, I would definitely say to check this place out if searching for a bridal store with lots of selection. I was very happy with my experience with Mecklenburg Bridal!

I did not enjoy my experience with Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery. My consultant was overbooked that day, and she was hardly around at all. When she was around, she spent more time trying to convince me how much she cared than actually helping. My mother and maid of honor picked out and tried on all of the dresses alone. When my mother returned to buy her dress for the wedding, they were anything but helpful. She ended up buying a dress from another salon (Impressions Bridal in Concord, NC), where I found the same dress I bought from Mecklenburg Bridal Gallery for $100 cheaper. Then, after I had my first fitting, they called and said they noticed a problem with the fabric when they were pressing my dress (3 weeks before I actually needed it). They then had to reorder another one, and I had to completely change my schedule to get back in for another fitting. I wasn't able to try my dress on again until I needed it for my bridal portrait. Overall, they are unhelpful, some of the salespeople are borderline rude, and they are overpriced.

I came to Mecklenburg Bridal after a horrible experience at David's Bridal. Vania allowed me to pick out the dresses that I thought would best compliment me, and she chose several as well. She was very patient and even allowed me to go home and contemplate my options (I was stuck between two very flattering but different dresses). When I returned I purchased my dress, and went through the whole fitting procedure with them as well. I'm a bit of a tomboy when it came to all of the pomp and circumstance of the "wedding thing", but the Vania always leveled with me when I wasn't sure about certain things (like coming in to try on the dress before I picked it up, or getting it pressed before I take it) and I'm glad I listened to her.

This is one bridal gallery that you cannot afford to miss if you are looking for excellent service, broad selection, and an atmosphere that will help you make the best choice possible for your wedding gown, bridesmaid dresses or mother of the bride/groom gowns. I have purchased a wedding gown for my daughter, bridesmaid gowns, and gown for myself for her wedding as well as my daughter-in-law purchasing her wedding gown and gowns for her entire wedding party. All were stunning, with excellent caring service towards each of us! This store deserves 5+ star rating for the personalized attention given to me and my family! The store layout is beautiful with lots of mirrors and area for the brides to gain a full picture of how they appear in each gown. I don't believe that you will find a better selection of gowns anywhere in the area - whether it is for bridal, bridesmaid, or mothers! Check it out!

I live in Raleigh but ordered my dress from Mecklenberg Bridal Gallery after speaking on the phone with Kay. She was great to work with and kept me up to date throughout the entire ordering process. I couldn't have been happier with how my gown came out. It was gorgeous and I am so thankful for their help.

I had a great experience at Mecklenburg Bridal. When I came in and said that my wedding was 5 months away, no one made me feel bad about the lack of time to get a dress in. They explained my options and made me feel more than comfortable when the entire situation could have been very stressful. They delivered exactly as they promised - a beautiful dress in four months and two fittings in 4 weeks. The dress was beautiful, and I am so thankful for their help.

Mecklenburg Bridal is every brides dream! The staff, the selection, the professionalism. Even if they are out of your area give them a call, it will be well worth it!
