Megan was flexible in meeting our budget requirements. She's good with people (even big crowds!), and she's also very respectful of church rules and traditions. We love how our photos turned out!

We would completely recommend Megan for your wedding photographer. She was professional yet relaxed. She was very efficient with the 2 hours we had booked. We were more than pleased with both the color and black and white photos. We had some more traditional photos but our favorites were the non traditional angles non-posed shots.

It was a pleasure working with Megan. She responded to my emails almost immediately if not the same day. Her flexibility was amazing, she had no problem working with my uncle who’s a retired photographer and actually used him to add to the experience. My entire family had a great time working with her. She was even able to get wonderful posed pictures from my usually shy flower girl. The wedding party was 16 large and my family is huge. Megan managed to capture everything that was happening around us while taking the traditional photos. I received several comments about her ability to not be in the way of what was going on.

Megan's photos online made us smile & laugh out loud. She was easy to work with, accommodating a complicated long wedding day (she was hired for a couple of parts of the day) and driving down to Albuquerque for the event. She has a good sense of humor, caught lots of great shots, despite competition from family members who crowded in everywhere with their cameras. We get all the photos she shot, color corrected, edited & in digital format. We have all rights to our original photos and do anything we want with them. We are responsible for printing, and don't get a book made up, which is perfect for us.

Megan is great to work with! And, if you are looking for one-of-a-kind photos, she's the photographer you want. We brought the photos of our Taos wedding back to Maryland and everybody was amazed at how beautiful it was....partly the scenery but mostly how Megan captured it!

I highly recommend Megan Bowers Avina Photography. My husband and I had a very small wedding in Taos, NM. Megan was able to capture everything about the ceremony -- she has a wonderful style and perfect eye. She was very friendly and professional. Given that there were only 7 people total in the wedding, we were nervous that a photographer would be distracting during the ceremony. However, we didn't notice her at all. We chose her for her artistic and photojournalistic sensibility. Megan took a great photo of my husband giving me a spontaneous piggy-back ride through the snow. We used it as part of our invitation to our reception later in the year. We still see it 2 and a half years later in the homes of our guests.
