This was my dream dress. I have been cutting out pictures of it for the past few years. It is such an amazing dress. It is so romantic looking. I actually bought the dress used from a bride and ended up saving $1,500 by doing it this way. It needed to be altered in the waist and length but other than that it was perfect. I really recommend doing this. I felt a little funny about buying a used dress at first but when I started thinking about it, it made sense. It was only worn one day! I felt so beautiful in this dress, the moment I put it on I felt like a bride.

We purchased Melissa Sweet Bridesmaid dresses from Bella Bridesmaid in San Francisco, and then the dresses were shipped to my bridesmaids in NY and LA.

All three zippers on the dresses were faulty. The designer did pay for one of them to be replaced, but when they found out that all three dress zippers didn't work they said that it was the design of the dress.

Thank GOD that the dress had a bow in the back because after 20 minutes of working on the zipper, it wouldn't budge. We never got it up!! I really think that it's unacceptable to pay around $280 for a dress and not have the dress zip up and be told that the dress was designed that way!!

The dresses were beautiful, but I would not recommend MS Bridesmaid dresses.

My wife went to New York City to shop for a dress. The staff was warm and there was a sales clerk that also spoke fluent Japanese. That was all it took for her to buy immediately.

I purchased my Melissa Sweet dress at a sample sale from Priscilla of Boston. The gown was in wonderful condition and it was the dress of my dreams. I received countless compliments on it. On top of that, it was incredibly comfortable. The lines of her dresses are incredibly flattering.

Oh, my dress... if I could wear it every day I would! It is beautiful!! I have loved everything about being wearing a Melissa Sweet gown on my wedding day.

Melissa Sweet is a very good designer. I like most of her designs. Their cuttings are easy fit and comfortable. The gowns are made of high quality silk fabrics. If you live in Southern California, I would recommemd all the brides, take time to shop at The White Dress located in Corona Del Mar, 949 723-0121 www.thewhitedress.com and check out their gowns. Five Stars definitely, no doubt about it. Quality things are not cheap, cheap things are not good. Nothing compared to David's Bridal. You have only once in a lifetime to impress, wear it, enjoy the comfort of the excellent quality, celebrate with it.

I myself purchased my wedding dress from the designer, Melissa Sweet. However expensive my dress was (which is was!), it was the dress of my dreams, and I've never stopped dreaming since then! I've purchased many photography sessions to get an opportunity to be in it again! One of these days, I won't fit in it anymore, but it's been the most beautiful thing I've owned in my life, and I have NEVER regretted it for an instant! Excellent service, Exquisite customer service, amazing details! But, just as a note: get very few alterations done by them....go to a seamstress that you trust near you, or else you'll be paying $250 each fitting you attend!
