I had reached out to my couple in regards to the rating, here is the response from the groom.
"About the ratings...when I look at ratings online (for services and hotels etc.) and I see straight 5's I personally dont even consider it valid because anything that has been properly reviewed (lots of ppl etc) wont have 100%. I thought I would make it more realistic by putting great numbers but not 5's."
I thank N&N for their review and their honesty regarding overall ratings with any vendor.

Sue was great to work with! My husband an I were lucky enough to be chosen for her stylized Vintage Country Wedding shoot. We had fun with her the entire evening. Every detail was perfectly planned and brought to life, right down to the live horse. Sue brought a great energy and a playful presence to our day and made it special for us both.

This session was a stylized shoot that I had planned for a few years. The beautiful couple Tara & Josh were chosen from a few entries. I reached out to Tara to ask her about the lower ratings for both Value and Flexibility, she had explained that since she had not purchased prints she was unsure on how to rate the value. For flexibility she graded based on that I had a set date for the shoot and did not have an alternative date set. All in all this shoot was a beautiful success and has been published on 3 different blogs.

Wow,
When we first started planning our wedding we were so leery to find the perfect photographer, someone who would capture every moment perfectly and leave us with proud photographs. When we first met Sue she just gave us such a positive and creative vibe. We were so excited to hire her. No questions asked we signed the contract and wrote a cheque that day. It was a natural instinct to hire someone who seemed so fun.
Soon it came time for our engagement photos, well it was cold and a bright sun flashing in our face – it didn’t stop Sue from being amazing. As she took my engagement ring for a few special shots, she told me what a Macro lens was “you can see that flies do it like humans with this lens”. I didn’t quite get it until I saw the photos – OH MY GOD! Amazing! Sue caught every perfect detail and just blew our minds with amazement and excitement for the rest of the photos to be done. When we saw the photos it was so joyous. Her fantastic sure shined and we knew right then that she was going to be the perfect wedding photographer. We were so excited to work with her again in 4 months ‘time.
It’s finally here – our wedding day. Bright an early Sue was at my place to capture every moment of my fairy tale day. From this morning on I started to understand how a superstar felt with paparazzi. Sue had her camera glued to her and captured every important moment imaginable.
As I walked down the aisle – I saw my handsome husband and I saw a flash – the flash was such a comforting sign telling me – although I am teary eyed right now and the day will fly by I will not miss a moment of my day. And sure enough – the photos started coming and as each one appeared I was refreshed of my day and amazed yet again at how perfectly it was captured.
When I received all my DVDs, I was so excited to see the contents because I knew they would be amazing. I was totally right – Sue did an amazing job!
Sue - words cannot describe how thankful we are to have had you as our photographer. I will be referring you to everyone I know looking for a photographer, and of course I will continue to use you for all of my photos in the future!! Thank you so much for your love, support, patience and talent!

FAQ for Memories by Sparky Photography
Some people can be a little shy around the camera, an engagement session will help you get to know me and my style better. And when you choose Memories by Sparky Photography, your Engagement session is included in each package.
Do we get digital files? - You will receive all of your images fully edited and set on a DVD with a print release. Your images will be High Resolution and will not be watermarked, letting you freely make copies or prints for all of your family and friends. Your wedding will give you between 400-1600 photos.
How do I secure my wedding date? - After we have confirmed your date is available, we will get together for a consultation and to review and sign your photography contract at which time I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit down on your day to hold it.
Is there a second photographer? - There may be a second photographer present. Please note this is not guaranteed with every shoot. If you have specifically requested it, it will cost you extra PLEASE be aware of this.
