Reviews for Men's Wearhouse (Los Angeles, CA)
The workers are the most incompetent bunch of fools I've met, but overall it was fine. How can I complain with a free tux for the groom? The only problem was my father-in-law's pants. They were huge on him. He had ordered a 34, but got a 41 instead. He got pissed because he could have just written it down for the guy, but instead he had insisted on measuring him. Maybe he just wrote it down incorrectly. The guys here are not knowledgeable about colors at all. One guy was COLOR BLIND!!!
For the groom we purchased the tux from Men's Warehouse in Marina del Rey. One thing that was great was we could buy the jacket and pants individually which meant we could choose the size of each thereby getting the one that fit best. We also got the shirt, tie and shoes there. There were only slight alterations but I was very impressed with the fitter who seemed to care a lot that everything was right. The salespeople were friendly but seemed more interested in each other than in us. Even though they were not attentive we were able to find what we needed and ultimately the whole outfit was outstanding. Men's Warehouse turned out to be a good resource and since we didn't have a lot of time before the wedding the one-stop-shopping was great.
The groomsmen rented their tuxes from here. Their customer service was not the best! We had to be for them to pay any attention to us, but finally we got someone to help us. On the day of the wedding everything worked out.
We picked Men's warehouse because of all their locations and their quality is pretty good. My dad was able to measure up in OC at his convenience. With that said, they sent my dad's suit to LA rather than OC. I discovered this the day before my wedding; which needless to say resulted in a mini-meltdown. We drove in traffic to get my dad's suit. Men's warehouse did discount my dad's tux, but that could never take away from the mini-meltdown or the scene that I made as a result of the min-meltdown.
No complaints here. We went to the Men's Warehouse in Torrance, CA. The ordering process was straightforward, the prices were decent, and the salespeople were nice and helpful.
Picking out tuxes, sizing people, and picking them up really shouldn't be this complicated.
In the end though, (besides a tux delivered to the wrong store for a single guest out of town) it worked out fine, and everyone had everything they were supposed to.
Also, for what its worth, the employees at the store (West LA, on Wilshire) were helpful, and competent, just that the entire chain/process seems to have so much overhead & cruft that its just harder than it should be.
We had several out of town men that needed tuxes and Men's Warehouse was great so that these guys could get measured in their town and then pick up the tux here (Woodland Hills). It all worked out great, the guys looked great and I really didn't hear any complaints about things not fitting properly. Pickup and return were good too.
Great place to get the tuxes for all who need them. Very affordable. The best thing is that once you pick your style, the groomsmen can go in at their leisure to get fitted and go to any Men's Warehouse in the country. It was extremely convenient. They have the same designer suits to choose from as the other, more expensive, rental places.
Our groomsmen were spread out across the country, so we knew we'd need a great tux shop that could get everyone's measurements everywhere. Men's Warehouse certainly delivered1 The guys all looked great and everything was perfect when they arrived in Vegas.
These guys rock. They take the job seriously and we had a wonderful experience. My hubby looked great!
Men's Warehouse accommodated many men coming from all over the country (Washington, Oregon, New York, Kansas, California). They had an excellent selection of tuxedos at reasonable prices, and were very clear on their policies (for pick-up, return, payment, etc.). The employees were helpful and offered useful insight into our tuxedo selection.
Reasonable prices and many locations. Convenient for bridal parties participants who don't live nearby because they can get measured at a location near them and pick up locally.
