This is for the Burlington, MA location. My husband and I went in there on a Sunday - the staff was very pleasant and easy to deal with. We sat down with Kristen and she was fabulous. Very knowlegable about their tuxes/vests/shirts and what not. She was very eager to help and explained to us the differences between a few selections of tuxes they had and what not. They only had one design of the vest in the color we had originally wanted - malibu blue (to match the girls dresses) but the design was nothing we wanted so we ended up choosing a silver/platinum color instead which matched as well. We had picked the platinum vest for the groomsmen and an ivory vest for the groom to match the brides dress.
They would call every so often to check in and see how wedding planning was going and give me a heads up as to how many/who still hasn't been in for their tux fitting. They were very flexible with me for my father (he was sick and I was not sure if he'd be attending the wedding) so they said not to worry as he could come in up to two days prior to the wedding and they would have him taken care of no worries. So far we were very happy with Mens Warehouse.
Two days before the wedding all the guys go in and pick up their rentals and were to try them on to make sure everything fit correctly....people had ordered a second shirt (incase of spill/sweating etc) and the shirts were not there, my husbands vest was black, not ivory his jacket was too small the shirt was too tight in the collar - after he specifically told them during the measurements that he would like to add the extra room in the collar. My father in-laws shirt was also way too tight, couldn't button the top button so the tie just looked ridiculous. A groomsmen was missing a vest, another groomsmens tie didn't have the clip on it to fasten around the neck and it was all just a big mess.
A portion of this we didn't realize until the day of the wedding...after the fact my husband and a few of the groomsmen had stated this when returing their tuxes and my husband received a 'courtesy' call he told them everything that had happened how things didn't fit correctly, stuff was missing and broken and they stated they would credit back money towards everyone's rentals - this was over two months ago and only 2 of the 6 men in the wedding party (groom included) have received their credit or even a courtesy call.
Nothing against the people we dealt with in the store the day we went in and picked everything out...but aside from that I would not use Mens Warehouse as a tux rental again.
They got my father's measurements completely wrong. When he went to pick it up in Boston, he had to stay there for 2 hours while they tried to fix it. Even then it wasn't completely fixed but there was stuff to be done. Because of the screw up, we never got to take a family cruise because MW f*cked up so badly. Called them several times to get money back because of the disaster & not once did I get a return phone call. Never going back there again.
