Reviews for Men's Wearhouse
The reason why the Men's warehouse got an average grade is because we had confirmed our order with them twice, well before the deadline to make changes. And then on the day of the deadline, they called to confirm the order, and it was all wrong. We couldn't understand how the order was so wrong when an associate had called us a week prior and recited our correct order. Then on the day of the wedding, it was as if the tuxedos were made of cheap material. My DH had his 2nd button on his tuxedo pop off, leaving the best man to sew it back on. The best man also had one of his buttons come off. Another groomsman had his cufflinks break. And yet another groomsman was given an ENTIRELY different order. The salesperson switched the orders and gave the groomsman someone else's tux. I absolutely LOVE the way the tuxedos looked in person and in pictures. I just wished that the mishaps didn't happen, and that the quality of the tuxedos were better.
For the groom and groomsmen, we decided the best option would be through MW Tux due to our groomsmen being across the country. My fiance and I visited the Hoover, AL location (across from the Galleria and next to the David's Bridal). On my first visit, it took several minutes for a consultant to even realize I was waiting for service (there were 2 consultants in the store at the time and no customers). After asking about color swatches matching David's Bridal's colors, I was given a short answer. I felt like my business wasn't appreciated. The consultant was extremely rude. The second time I visited, I was greeted by a different consultant and all of my questions were answered. I was shocked at how the service from the consultants varied so dramatically. Every visit following these two were fine. Keep in mind that the store is always extremely busy and there is very little space to hold the waiting customers. A wait can be up to 20 minutes (as we experienced in our last visit). If I could do it all over again, I would definitely visit another location.
Men's Warehouse came out with the brown tuxedo right around the time when we were looking and it was perfect for our brown and pink color scheme. My husband had some trouble with them when the tux came in since the tux was too big and we only had a week before the wedding. They were able to ship a smaller sized tux to the store but we had to call and ask if it came in. When we went there everything fit except the jacket sleeves, which were too short. The woman working in the store said she could alter it and after we came back again to pick it up, she sent us to the larger store across the street since she didn't have time to finish it. The other store told us to come back another day. Two days before the wedding, we were able to finally get my husband's tux. We wish we didn't have to go back so many times. Despite all the issues, the brown tuxedos were a hit at our wedding.
For the Men the best place that my fiance and I found to go was to Men's Wearhouse. They had a great selection of tuxedo styles to choose from the classic black tuxedo to the more modern chocolate brown to the lighter summery tan and white. The prices are reasonable and negotiable depending on the accessories you choose to get for the tuxedos. Men's Wearhouse also has a really nice selection of suits for reasonable prices. There will be a lot of parties the bride and groom are requested to attend, or church marriage counceling to go to, family events, engagement pictures, and rehearsal dinners to host, he may need a new suit when you order the tuxedo. Or for the more relaxed weddings the men may choose to wear suits instead of tuxedos.
The best man from our wedding rented his tux from MW Tux in El Segundo. We thought their variety of choices was great and they were very patient when we came back three times before we decided to rent his tux there. The salespeople were likeable and showed that they cared at every opportunity. When we picked up the tux one day before the wedding it turned out to fit perfectly and the best man looked great. I thought the prices were a little high but I guess that's the going rate. Things worked out well for us here.
The tuxes all looked very nice. A lot better than Al's that they used at my SIL's wedding. They lost 2 of the tuxes though. All the guys went to go pick them up 2 hours before the rehearsal, thinking that'd give plenty of time. Since they lost 2 of the tuxes, they had to track them down and found them at other stores. The whole ordeal cause all the guys to miss the rehearsal entirely, except for one who picked it up that morning!
We rented tuxes from Men's Warehouse. The wedding date is March 28th, so as far as the quality of the tuxes, I can not comment, but as the Bride and Groom, setting up the rental for everyone else was a breeze!!! Our sales agent was just HILARIOUS!!! He knew his tux styles, colors, prices, everything. He just made the whole experience very enjoyable.
We are got all tuxedos from the MW Tux on Wilshire in Beverly Hills. The guys all wore the modern cut Tommy Hilfiger tux. My husband was happy with the experience because they allowed him to go smaller on the chest (didn't try to convince him otherwise) so he could have the nice slim fit he desired, and because they called him a few times to update him on the status of our guys' sizing.
It was very easy to sit down and customize the exact look that we wanted for the wedding. Also, if 4 of the groomsmen rent their suit from them, then my fiance's was free.
Yet another way to save some cash.
Pretty good service. All of our groomsmen were from different parts of the country so I liked that their were MW's all over that they could go to.
great selection of tuxedos and they are affiliated with davids bridal so guaranteed color matching with the dresses!
Overall we had a good experience with Men's Warehouse. One of the consultants there got a little pushy when it came to the infamous white shirt vs. ivory shirt issue (my husband insisted that he wanted to wear a white shirt with his ivory vest, and she tried to say that it wouldn't look right even though it looked perfectly fine). Other than that, we didn't have any complaints. Both tuxes arrived earlier than expected, and there weren't any problems with the orders.
Very helpful staff and all the groomsmen picked up their tuxes from different locations and were able to return them to the same.
Good selection and very helpful staff. We had no problems getting everyone fitted, including one groomsmen in CA.
The Men's Wearhouse has a variety of tux selections and the colors that they have coordinate with the colors available at David's Bridal, which makes it easier to color coordinate the wedding party. They are very responsive to changing needs and have been very helpful with a wedding party spread across the US.
Best service ever, talked us into an amazing style.
The guys really cleaned up well intheir coordinating tuxes, vests and boutenneirs. I cannot stress how helpful After Hours was in measuring and assisting in the stying of the guys on our wedding day. They made it simple, easy and affordable for them all to look absolutely dapper... even the little 2 and 3 year old ring bearers! Adorable!!!
My fiance picked out designer tuxes for him, and his groomsmen to wear. The ladies at the shop were very helpful in picking out styles and shoes, and we even got a $30 discount for attending a bridal show!!
Very attentive to my needs and wants for my wedding. Also had a promotion where the grooms tux is free after 4 paid rentals for same event. Kinda nice!!
The sales associates listened to what we needed and we got the best service and product for our money. The tailor did an excellent job altering the suits.
We used them for our groomsmen and my fiance's attire. The staff was incredibly helpful and answered all of our questions.
This is a great deal! They give you 20 Dollars off of your groomsmen and then give you FREE rental for the groom! Where can you go wrong?
These men were very nice, and very helpful. They gave us the fifth tux rental for free. That was a great blessing for our friend, who is coming from Paraguay.
i thought this vendor did very well, it was very convienient for us because we have a lot of family out of the state, and this is located everywhere.
Excellent. We went and picked out what we wanted, and then they recorded a group number for us. That made it very easy for us to simply tell each groomsman the group number, and they went in and were measured and didn’t have to worry about making sure they had the correct pieces, as it was already recorded in their database. That was great for us, as ours lived in different parts of the state at the time of fitting. The tuxes fit all the men well, matched perfectly, and they looked sharp!
we want to use them because i like that the groom gets his tux free and the other guy's tux are like 50.00- 60.00 rental
All of the guys got their tuxes from here. I liked that they have a huge selection of vests and ties to pick from. Also it really helps that they are for the most part nationwide because the guys from out of town were able to order in their own towns.
They did great. Measured all the guys and we picked everything out and they had everything ready on time and it was a very easy process. They’re a bit pricy in my opinion however.
The tux colors matched the bridesmaid dresses perfectly. I would just make sure the groomsmen try it on before the take it with them, because even if it is right they are difficult to adjust correctly.
Men's Wearhouse drove us crazy with misleading advertisements and high prices but it was a place we couldn't live without as we really didn't have any other choice. Since we have wedding party guys coming from all over the place, we needed somewhere that was ubiquitous so they could all get fitted at their convenience in their own cities. It just ended up costing a lot more than we feel it should have. Later we realized we could almost have bought tuxes for the price we paid. Getting one tux thrown in free softened the blow, but Men's Wearhouse is probably not for the budget without wiggle room.
We used the Mens Warehouse in Flint. The staff was wonderful and there was a very large selection of tuxes. We are very pleased with the service and quality.
Had everything (except 1 suit, that was 1 day later) ready on time, right sizes, no missing shoes or cufflinks.
They had a couple of mistakes but were fast in correcting the items. There were no delays in the end. The groomsmen attires were phenomenal.
The male version of David's bridal is a great place to get tux rentals for the groom and his men. They have many confortable sizes and styles to choose from.
Recommend this company for tuxedos. Had a problem due to the location, but not a problem. Ordered & was sized for two tuxedos in one state and picked up the tuxedos in another state with the rest of the wedding party. Not a problem and all tuxedos fit perfectly after alterations.
The groomsmen bought their suits at the Men's Wearhouse. They bought the ones that were 2 for $300, so 2 of them had to go in at a time. The suits looked wonderful! Only problem was that we wanted the guys to be able to get the 2 for $300 discount from different stores, but 2 had to go to the same store at the same time, which was really hard to do. We think they should have been able to buy them and go in at different times.
We had a very bad starting experience with Mr. Tux, though in the end it was okay. The groom was not wearing a tuxedo and the employee couldn't understand that and set aside our paperwork to talk to her supervisor about after she assured us it would be okay to discount the other tuxedos. It wasn't a problem until the best man went to get measured 2 months before the wedding; they lost all of our info! We lived out of state and they wouldn't take phone information. It was near to impossible to figure out which tuxes we wanted without seeing them and matching colors. After that was straightened out a month before the wedding we were told the tuxes we picked were discontinued and we had to pick something else... Overall, it was mass mayhem! Mostly it was miscommunications but the tuxes they ended up with were very nice and we recieved a discount for all the hassle.
Although the tuxes looked great, we had a terrible time with the service. They were rude and unhelpful at almost every location we went. It seems that they have a monopoly on tux rentals in our area, or we would have gone elsewhere. My ring bearers shoes didn't fit, so he had to wear crocs down the isle!
Men's Warehouse was wonderful in helping out my husband and his two guys. Both the best mand and groomsman were from out of state and they ordered their tux's in a different state than they picked them up, and it went ultra smooth. They had quick, easy fittings, and lots of communication from the employees at the store! Great job! Easy to work with and great selection!
The staff at the Oakdale location were very helpful. We were happy that they had a great selectio to choose from.
NICE TUX, GOOD SERVICE. JUST TWO PROBLEMS. MY SON'S TUX WAS MISSING A TIE AND MY STEPSONS TUX HAD PANTS THAT WERE TOO SHORT.
Men's Warehouse in Mishawaka IN...was so helpful and great...they knew exactly what we wanted and let us use our own ties ...highly recommend them !!
Men's Warehouse has colors that coordinate directly with David's Bridal's colors. They also run some pretty great deals that offer money off of a rental as well as a free tuxedo rental when 4 are booked. Now I can be sure that everything will match perfect for our wedding and we'll get a great deal price-wise as well.
We got an awesome deal at a bridal show on our tuxes from the Men's Wearhouse. They were perfect and had vests that matched the girls dresses perfectly. I have recommended them to everyone I know needing a tux.
Because some of the men in the wedding use to play football, they're big guys. Men's Warehouse was able to fit everyone, shoes and all. Excellent service.
We are choosing this place because we have a few of our ushers that our out of town and this place is a wide spread location and everyone can use them. We wont have to worry about them not getting the right suit. Very convenient.
MW Tux at Concord Mall was very easy to work with. They measured my husband and answered any and all questions we had. They even let us set up instructions so that our groomsmen could get measured at any MW Tux or Men’s Warehouse and have the tuxes shipped at Concord Mall (per my husband’s request). They even caught a mistake that Men’s Warehouse made on my Father-in-Law/Best Man’s measurements. If they hadn’t caught that the measurements didn’t make sense, there is no way the tuxedo jacket would have fit him. I rated them a 3 because they did made a mistake with my brother’s tux. Since my brother was giving me away, I asked them what kind of tux and what colors he should wear. They advised us to select the same tuxedo as the groomsmen, but with a white tuxedo shirt, black vest, and black neck tie. My brother didn’t pay attention when I told him what he was supposed to wear and walked into my Mother’s house the day of the wedding with a black tux, black dress shirt, black vest, and black tie. It was MW Tux’s error but I’m confident that if my brother would have pointed out the error when he picked it up, that they would have corrected it right away.
Men's Wearhouse is the most reasonable value around. Now that they have an agreement with David's Bridal, their vests/ties match colors exactly to the dresses. The selection for the color I chose was somewhat small (victorian lilac), it would be nicer if they had all the styles available in every color. My husband said the service was fine, but he wishes it was less expensive.
We picked out the tuxes at the MW in Viera,FL, which is also where 3 of the guys were fitted. The rest were split between the Kalamazoo, Michigan and South Bend, Indiana stores. The Viera store was great, and we had no problems with them. The South Bend store had issues finding our wedding information when some of the groomsmen went in, but it was easily straightened out with a phone call.
The Thursday before the wedding when the guys went to pick up their tuxes, all but one were good. One of the ushers, Scott, went to get his tux and it didn't fit at all. They promised to fix it and told him he could come back the next morning and pick it up. When he went back, the tux was still didn't. The pants were too long, and if he raised his arms the sleeves of the tux went up to his elbows.
He wore the tux, since there was no time to get a new one and it looked fine in pictures, but he was terribly uncomfortable.
Also, something I didn't notice till after the wedding, the ring bearer was supposed to receive a white vest matching Jake's, but he got a black on like the rest of the guys. Not a big deal, just not what we had ordered.
MW had a booth at the Bridal Show my [now] husband and I went to where you could go inside a cash grabbing machine and whatever you caught you could put towards tuxes. My husband ended up grabbing enough cash to pay for his tux as well as my father's and his father's! We had excellent service when we went to the store to pick out the right tux. Its been a few years ago now, but I think there might have a been a problem with a couple of the groomsmen getting all the gear they needed from MW, but it was definitely all worked out in plenty of time. (No one would tell me much on the day of the wedding so as not to get my blood pressure up!). The groom, groomsmen, ushers, ring bearer, and my dad looked great in their tuxes! The only real hassle I remember is the turnaround time to get the tuxes back to the store. I wish it wasn't such a rush.
All of the guys were able to be measured in their own state. We got exactly what we ordered when we went to pick them up in Va. The guys looked great and returning them was easy.
My husband loved his tux! It was a very different style that suited him best. The staff was so friendly and accomadating. We had absolutley nothing bad to say about them at all.
We had the groom and his men wear off-white/ivory shirts, with champagne color vests. The tux itself was a Calvin Klein in black. If you are looking for a tux, don't skimp and go with the cheap one. It's YOUR wedding after all. You want to look stunning and he should too!!! Let him get the Calvin Klein. He will look wonderful! The people were so helpful and all of our tuxes arrived on time. We had NO problems and were able to return ALL the tuxes to one shop, although they had been picked up at various places.
AMAZING QUALITY AT GREAT PRICES. JON GOT A NICE SUIT THAT HE WILL BE ABLE TO WEAR AGAIN.
The Tux’s were handsome! Great styles and selection, we were able to pick out the perfect wardrobe for the wedding party. We were happy with the level of customer service and we had no issues to report. There are locations everywhere, so that was very helpful.
My fiance and his attendants have been using Men's Wearhouse for their tuxes. It is great if you go through David's Bridal for your bridesmaid dresses because you can color coordinate to have the colors match. They have so many different locations which is great if you have out of town attendants and they keep all your information on file, which make it easy when that attendant goes to get fitted.
The end result was fine, all the guys looked great. The day before the wedding however was very frustrating. Out of the seven tuxedos we ordered the grooms tux and my fathers tux were not correct! The salesperson told me when I called that "this is how it goes with tux rentals." Not only did I feel her comment was rude but if all you do is rent tux's why is it so hard to get it right???? We were fitting six men and my ring bearer all of whom lived in different places. If at possible keep the group together and make sure the men know what the tux is to look like. No one wants to deal with more than picking up tuxedos the day before the wedding.
They have a good selection and offer discounts if you have multiple tux rentals. They are a national chain, so if your groomsmen are all over the U.S. this might be a good option for you. Our groomsmen got fitted for their tuxes in 3 separate states and they were still able to use the discount from our order.
The only convenience is that the groomsman can order their tuxes at their local MW store. Two of the groomsman tuxes were wrong, and did not get resolved until the day of the wedding and actually delayed the start of our ceremony. It was very stressful for my groom, and MW was not helpful AT ALL.
There Is little good I can say about The men's Wearhouse. We went and picked out the tuxes for the men. Since we had more then five people, my husband got his tux rental free!!! Everything was great until we picked up our tuxes. Most didnt fit right and the shoes didnt match. They have you pick up the tuxes two days before the wedding. so the men in my party was very unhappy with their tuxes!!!
I had so much fun going with my dad to pick out his tux. He's a uniform or jeans kinda guy, so finding a place that he would feel comfortable was key. Not too many options in the book, which was perfect! He hates making decisions and shopping. He found what he liked, we picked out the tie color, and he looked fantastic!
I also loved what my husband and the groomsmen wore. There were many color options and a good price range for our friends on a budget.
Extremely easy especially since groomsmen were from all over the country. Bride and groom go to their local store and register the wedding day and the attire for each of the VIPs, and groomsmen get fitted at their own local store. days before wedding date the tux's were all ready at the store near the wedding site, and all a perfect fit! That took a lot of the travel hassle off of everyone
Everything we got was correct. No problems.
I wrote a letter to the GM telling them how wonderful the Carmel Mountain Location was with our wedding. They went above and beyond and we recommend MW tux to everyone.
We got our tuxes here for our August wedding. It was an ok experience, several of the tuxes were without cuff links and they allowed my father-in-law to get shoes other than the ones listed in our account.
My husband and his groomsmen rented their tuxedos from Men's Warehouse. They were great to work with and the tux's looked great and fit perfectly!. Would definitely recommend!
The tuves were gorgeus, but they gave our unlisted bridal party member a hard time and charged an arm and a leg. They guys all looked fabulous, though, and everything was right on time.
Affordable with a good selection.
No complaints. All of the guys tuxes came in on time with no problems. I also really liked the online feature where you could check to see who had been fitted and who still needed to do it- really helped us get the guys in line when it came down to the wire!
They were great in reminders, discounts, and measuring. They were very professional and definitely recommend.
great prices. Fit very well. But gave us the wrong color vest and tie for father of the bride even after it was corrected on the phone by bride.
We selected a national chain since we had to meet needs from California to Virginia. My husband purchased his tux (even though he already had two others) and let his brother have the free tux rental. My step-sons were a bit of a nightmare putting up a big fight over wearing the tuxes, then ended up losing some pieces, but Men’s Wearhouse was great and didn’t charge us any extra.
We had no problems with this vendor, but found them to be very expensive, especially for kids. $125 for the cheapest tux for a 4 year old, kind of ridiculous. However, they did everything they were supposed to do and no one had problems.
we got coupons from where i got my dress where u rent 4 tuxes and the grooms was free. well my husband is in the marines so my bro got his for free
The thing that is amazing about Men's Warehouse is that you can literally step into one in any state and not know which state you're in. The ones that I have been in are almost all identical, minus the Boston accent in this one in Florida. I got my suit here, for a great price, and I was able to get socks and a shirt and all those great accessories. But the thing that I liked best about shopping at Men's Warehouse was that my best friend in Maine, who was my best man, could go into the Men's Warehouse near his house and they could fit him in the same style suit. The same was true for my cousin. When you're planning a wedding and the party is spread out all across the map, I think having a national store is really helpful. This worked pretty well for us, it was efficient, and we all looked good.
I thought mens wearhouse did a great job with the tuxes. They helped me to coordinate the fabrics to match the bridesmaid dresses. They had lots of different colors and very modern styles to choose from. The tuxedos were all freshly dry cleaned and smelled good when the guys got them. I asked.
The staff at Mens Warehouse was very easy to deal with. Since we already knew what we wanted for the bridal party and fathers, we just picked out the items from their catalog and they were all put into their system.
Everything looked nice and fit well. They gave the guys ample time to return their rented gear.
Pretty unhappy with this vendor. The suits did look look good that we rented. However, we had time contraints that forced us to return the suits 12 hours after the due time. They ended up charging us 250.00 extra dollars! I asked to speak to a manager and they still would not relent. I know I signed a contract with them, but the extreme unflexibility will make me never recommend them again.
We found a wonderful tux for the groom and his men. And with David's Bridal in the picture, we got a discount
The guys got their suits from the Men's Warehouse, and overall we were very satisfied. The only glitch/reason why not all 5 stars is their communication.
If youre going to San Jose, ask for Brian. He is the best
The suits at Men's Wearhouse are definitely the type of suits you could wear in place of a tuxedo. The staff at the Wearhouse were really helpful, they pulled both tuxedos and suits for us to compare to and put many combinations for us to get clear pictures of. They were helpful and couretous at the same time, not at all impatient which was really nice to see in customer service!
The groom, his six grooms men, the 2 dads, and the ringbearer got their tuxes from Men's Wearhouse in Novi and everything was absolutely perfect. They were ready on time, everything fit everyone perfectly, and the tuxes were in great condition. Definitely recommend them.
This was certainly a “fun” experience. My husband and I went to the Mens Wearhouse on Madison Avenue and selected our tuxedo. The samples they had were terribly worn and the colors so dirty the ivory and white looked gray. Also, he couldn’t try on the tux before we chose it. We never saw the whole look until we went to pick his up – in Florida! I guess this might just be the way it is done, so I wasn’t too bothered by this. He got measured and that was that. He’s a tall guy with a lean athletic build, so he was very careful about how they measured him and made sure they did it several times to get it right. Well, when we arrived in Florida 3 days before the wedding and went to pick up his tux at the store in Tampa, they had ordered him the wrong size in EVERYTHING. The only thing that fit were his pants – I was royally pissed! The only saving grace was that the gentlemen at the Mens Wearhouse in Tampa re-measured him and had a new tux, which fit him perfectly, ready the night before the wedding. Not exactly the experience we were hoping for, but at least the Florida store saved the day. To this day, I don’t know how the girl who measured him in NY screwed up so badly but lucky for her the guys in Tampa came through in a pinch.
All of the tuxes came in with no problems. All of the guys looked great at the wedding. The only complaint is that one of the groomsmen's buttons popped off his jacket only a few minutes before he walked down the aisle. Later in the night we realized that the buttons also came off of my husband's and father in law's jackets. When we told Men's Warehouse about this as we returned the tuxes, they said it happens often. They should really have more pride in what they are doing than that.
Men’s Warehouse was affordable and provided fast and quality service for my husband. My husband is a former athlete and large guy (6’0”, 275 lbs); we were worried about being able to find his size tuxedo on such a short notice. However, the Men’s Warehouse in Columbia, MD made sure that he received the perfect fit. He was even able to save time and car space by returning the tuxedo to the NYC location.
Generally good service. I was very happy with the tuxes, though they tend to be overpriced. One of my groomsmen had some sizing issues and because his flight was delayed he didn’t have time to get resized. Otherwise, we didn’t have any issues.
We were very pleased with our experience with Men’s Warehouse. I think they were a little more expensive, but it was well worth it. We got everything we wanted, right size, right ties and so on.
They offer tuxedos and they will fit you for a suit here. Steven said that it was a good experience. All I know is that he looked great on the wedding day and that I loved seeing him in a suit! He wore it for me this past Valentine's Day when we went to pur first married Valentine's Day dinner:) He's just so handsome! Back to the review, Steven said what was great is that they just type his name in the system, and then his brother in the next state could still go in and get suits that matched with all the other groomsmen. I didn't go with him so I couldn't say whether or not it was the suit version of a David's Bridal, but I think it's very big and important.
I put my husband in charge of the tuxes with only limitations on the colors. He had a swatch of fabric that the vests had to be close to. They found vests and ties to match my swatch almost exactly. My husband did say the sales person was a little snotty to our 2 year old nephew but I guess we can't hold that against Mens Warehouse, just that jerk.
We had a good experience with this vendor... the only issue being that they make you order from a catalogue, you can't try anything on a head of time. They did manage to collect sizes from all the groomsmen, the bible boy and the ring bearer (despite the fact that they were scattered across 300 miles of California), order and have everything shipped to one store near our wedding venue. Most of the orders came out looking right the first time, too. Not bad... they make corrections really quickly if anything is wrong.
I always read horror stories about men’s warehouse, but I must admit we really didn’t have any problems. They were professional and even remembered our names. My cousin who had got his measurements done up in NJ was the only one who had a problem… he had high-water pants! lol… but luckily MW was able to overnight some pants that were the correct length!
We didn't think wearing dark suits or a tux was appropriate for our beach wedding, and my husband wanted to be able to keep his suit rather than rent it, so we decided to check out Men's Wearhouse. We found a great relatively dark khaki linen suit that he selected to wear. All of the guys went to their local stores and were able to pick up the same suit. We even got a discount because all the guys purchased from Men's Wearhouse! My husband had his tailored specifically to his body, and he looked incredibly sexy in his suit!
They were easy to work with and provided everything we needed. I felt like the price was kind of high for the tuxedos. Our groomsmen couldn't afford a really expensive tux, so it was really hard to find a decent quality for a cheaper price. Overall we were happy with their service and products. I would recommend them to someone else.
No complaints. $20 off each tux, free groom's. Used the Men's Wearhouse in Novi, Michigan, south of the expressway. The guys looked HOT. And they all said many times how much they loved the shadow stripe Calvin Klein tux.
I decided to use The Men's Warehouse for tuxedo rentals after a very bad experience with After Hours Formalwear. After Hours could not get it together, but that is another story. The Men's Warehouse was very easy to deal with. Knew exactly what I was looking for. Had everyone fitted, even out of town groomsmen, which was very easy since they have so many locations. I could not ask for better service. They were very efficiant and I would definitely recommend them. Skip the other tuxedo stores that have kids working for them and go somewhere where they know what you are asking for and have someone specific in the department for weddings.
Although lots of brides have had horrible experiences with them, I feel it all depends on the location and which sales person you are dealing with. Everything worked out great for us. All of our guys were from out of town and had to get there own measurements and still worked out great!
from what my husband said the guys set up a date and met at the store. He had three groomsmen, himself, a page but a little groom. The rep went had a consult with them and walked them through the whole process. He said since they rental was cheaper and the return process was painless as well.
Kudos to Jim and company at Men's Warehouse. They hooked us up and we all looked great.
The tuxes looked great (fit well) and the service was great as well. We were very impressed. Our wedding was in NW Wisconsin, so we had little options locally. The only shop in town had measured my now-husband and his friends poorly on numerous occasions for weddings. So we decided to go 45 min away and do Men's Warehouse. Perfect choice!
We were very happy with the tuxes that the gentlemen wore for our wedding. Men's Wearhouse was much better than those typical rental places. Perhaps because they sell so many suits and tuxes they were really able to understand why the details mattered to us.
Great place to find suits and tuxedos for the guys. Prices are very reasonable. Only let down is the staff isn’t very helpful in helping grooms get the perfect suit. We felt like they just wanted to sell, sell, sell.
They were great! They usually have a deal going, where if you rent a certain number of tuxedos, you get one free. It worked out well, because we didn’t have to pay for the groom’s tux, which helped out a lot on the wedding budget.
In North Carolina it appears that The Men's Wearhouse has a monopoly on tuxedo rentals - I couldn't find any other place that wasn't affiliated with them! However, my husband does shop there on a regular basis so we knew the quality and customer service was very good. All tuxes arrived on time and we didn't have a problem with having three different pick-up locations. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of their offerings. I'd say the only thing that we didn't like was the lack of selection, and since we couldn't find another vendor our options were a little limited.
They were pleasant to work with and had a great selection to choose from, they have a great deal that makes one of the tuxs free if you order 4 or more tuxs for your men!!!
We decided to go with Men's Warehouse for our wedding party tuxedo rentals. My fiancee and I have so far have had a good experience with this service. The staff is friendly and very willing to make your special day successful. Everyone knows that the tuxedo has to fit exactly right. This has been a good experience for us.
There could have been options for the guys, but we won free tuxes from a local bridal fair so we went with Men's Wearhouse. The guys looked nice and they did a good job on the measurements. Nice job.
We got the tuxes at Men's Warehouse - they were very accomodating. The wedding party were varying sizes and they all looked great!
I looked at several places for vests that would work and that I liked, and they had the largest selection. They also seemed to do this hourly, as they knew what was traditional and popular, etc. Definitely would recommend working with them. And you can pick up and drop off tuxes anyway, which helps for grooms out of town and also with a destination wedding of sorts.
They were polite and helpful when we went for our appointment. The groom's tuxedo is free if 4 groom's men get theirs there as well. We were also able to pick up favors for the groom's men out of there catalog.
My husband and father ordered the same morning suit to wear for our wedding. The guys picked up something similar, and no one had any complaints; nothing but raves!
Perfect fit, on time, very nice look. Staff was great and helped with everything and gave us a good discount.
My husband and his crew went to Mens Wearhouse to organize their tuxedo rentals and they did quite well. The staff were accomodating and professional, we had no problems with the rentals and I think they are a good recommendation for large parties.
Men's Warehouse had a great selection of tuxes. They presented us with several different options and let us create the look we wanted. Everything was ready and waiting for us on our big day.
The guys looked incredible and very handsome in the tuxedo we selected. They got a great deal because of the promotion that was going on then, and my husband was able to get his for free, including our ring bearer's.
Our groomsmen were sharp! We got so many complements on our guys tuxedos. The staff at Men's Wearhouse was very helpful. They stayed on top our order and made sure that even our guys coming in from out of town were taken care of. There were some last minute unexpected adjustment that needed to be made and they took care of them no problem. Fast, efficient, and affordable!
My husband had no complaints with Men's Wearhouse. We needed a national chain to get the tuxes from as the guys were coming from all across the country. It was great that my husband was able to put in the specifics of the tuxes to order into their system and all the guys had to do was go in and get measured. All the tuxes were then sent to the nearest store to my Maid of Honor, who said that she picked them all up when they told her they would be in. None of the guys needed any additional help, so that was great! They looked really hot in their tuxes!
The groom's tux was free. MW was ok. We went to the Novi, MI location and they were good. My brother came home from college the day before my wedding, around 6pm. He immediately tried on his tux, and it was WAY too small. They were able to fix it that night before closing. My husband's tux (groom) was good, all except for the jacket, which was too small. It looks a little funny in the pictures, but it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall I would recommend them.
The service was good and the selection was decent. They weren't much help when I was trying to decide between white and ivory shirts for the guys (my dress was blush pink), but they DID keep up with me when I was calling to change my mind every other day.
All the guys got their tuxes on time and they fit great. They did, however, complain about the price being a little high.
The staff left much to be desired and the prices seemed high, but they have a pretty good selection & they even have invitations, napkins (with your monogram), etc.
We went with Men's warehouse because they have many locations. Our wedding party was scatters all over the south and this made it easy. We did have a few problems but they were easily fixed.
Most of the men who needed suits live in Seattle or in Illinois. Were able to get sized and measured and then pick them up in Spokane. That was the best.
it was good except. they do not have samples for the bridal party to try on. we were not sure if we wanted the regular tux or the tradition tail tux but because there were no samples to try on we went with the regular tux. the service was horrible at on store so we try another and the service was great.
I thought Mens wearhouse was good because they matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly, but they were pretty pricey. My Groom didnt have to pay anything, but the groomsmen had to pay about 120.00, ands that was with 20.00 off... overall they were good!
Great, easy, inexpensive. They gave us the grooms tux free just for the groomsmen getting their tux there.
MW Tux did a good job with the tuxedos. They were easy to work with and had all the tuxes when we picked them up.
I am so glad that we decided to go with Men's Warehouse to buy a suit instead of renting something. They did a great job of tailoring it to fit perfectly and it was a reasonable price for a great investment for the future.
Had multiple mess ups with pickup location, pick up and drop off date, sizes, names, and payment. I wouldn't recommend them. If you have no other choice, then double check everything!
Mens Warehouse is amazing. When my husband went to go get fitted and set up everything for the groomsmen, he was in and out with everything done and measured in literally 10 min. They were so kind and knew what they were doing! Not to mention The Grooms tux is free!!! Which all of you may know is always wonderful to here expecially with how expensive everything else is! When we went to go pick up all the Tux's the day before the wedding my husbands arms were to short, so they took 5 min and fixed it right up to his size. again very quick and nice!
We went to MW Tux and they were very helpful in helping us pick out a nice tux for all the guys. They really took the time to find out what the colors were, what our "feel" for the wedding was, and really listened to what we wanted.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because we did not yet have the wedding so I'm not sure everything will be 100% but I do have faith that everything will go as planned.
Grooms shirt and 2 for the groomsmen. Decent price, but i got a discount bc i worked there. They are nice ppl.
My husband and I were lucky - he is already owns a tux, however, he did want to "change it up" a bit and add some color. I purchased my dress from Davids Bridal and had an apple red sash. We were able to find a very sophisticated and reasonably priced vest and tie that matched my colors at Mens Warehouse Tux. We were able to pick up the vest and tie a couple days before the wedding. The only inconvenience is the fact that we had to return the vest and tie the day after the wedding. Two days would have been nice - we had family make the return and knowing how tired we were after the wedding we felt really bad having to make family run errands the day after. Overall, reasonable prices and a broad selection.
Men's Warehouse is great for wedding tuxedos. They are affordable and they are located all over so it is easy to rent from and to return things to. I was very satisfied with them.
The man was pretty helpful and made sure we were able to choose what we wanted. They have an excellent collection and have great suggestions for what to put together. Even though they don't have the tuxes there to try on, they had all the samples available on-hand and were very willing to let you mix and match all you want! Their prices are great too, especially with their rewards program.
Overall, our experience with MW was very good. None of the guys encountered any difficulty ordering their tuxes but unfortunately my brother's vest was ordered as a small rather than a medium - which meant he had to "suck it in" all evening. Other than that, we had no complaints. The assortment of tuxes and the prices can't be beat.
Helpful for the groom and the groomsmen, our wedding is very simple. Black & white no tux just black pants and white linen long sleeves. Relaxed look. Staff there were Awesome.
since our groomsmen are all over the country, we used Men's Warehouse for tuxes. They can go to their local store and get fitted, but the tuxes will be sent to our store. The tuxes are gorgeous, as well!
MW Tux was very helpful with matching the tuxes to the bridesmaids dresses. With all their locations it was really easy for our groomsmen(out of state) to get fitted.
Upon entering the store, we were assigned a group number and filled out a form listing everybody that needed fittings for the wedding party. They suggested a few extras that we had not included to begin with but kept things not too expensive. They didn't question our decisions and set up the groom to be fitted right away. They set a date for everyone else to be fitted by and advised us on how they could all save money. The same was true when the father of the bride and a groomsman were fitted. Very professional and extremely easy considering that the bridal party live in 3 different states!
the location on battleground in greensboro was amazing we drove from winston just to use them thank you Stuart!!!
Great place to get a tux! Great service and a great selection of styles and colors.
Tons of locations so anyone can rent from there. They really know what they are doing!
I highly recommend Men's Wearhouse! They were great too. They offer good customer service and the groom gets his suit or tux for free if the groomsmen all rent their suit or tux. The suit or tux comes with shoes. I loved the way they looked...very sophisticated. The other great thing is that the colors of the vest and tie matches the colors at David's because Men's Wearhouse and David's are affiliated!
These guys were great to work with. It was very simple to order what we needed.
They did a great job at getting the correct item desired. It was on time. They even let us keep the tux extra days at no cost.
They were great during the ordering process. I loved how they had everything online so we could check to see who needed to be fitted still. It's nice that they are all over the country so our out of town groomsmen could be fitted. When my husband went to pick up his tux, the pants were HUGE, the shirt was all messed up, and the jacket didn't fit. Good thing he tried everything on before he left! They fixed everything for the most part, but he told me the pants were still messed up the day of the wedding, he just didn't want to deal with them anymore. I can't tell in pictures, but I guess he can. I guess he is not the only person in our bridal party they screwed up either. He said the quality of the tux was very bad also. Very thin and not made well. The price was too high for the poor quality.
All of the men's formalwear was rented from what was formerly Gingiss Formalwear of Chicago. I'm a big guy, an ex-football player, as were most of my groomsmen. (One of my groomsmen rented a size 56 jacket)! Luckily for us, they had a big and tall section. We got a great deal on the rentals, a couple of them were free. They were able to fit everyone in the wedding party! The selection was excellent, and the service was decent. The staff allowed us to choose what we wanted, and they assisted us as needed. It was very straightforward.
We chose After Hours/MW Tux for two reasons. The first is that because the Groomsmen were spread out across the country, they could easily find a location nearby to have their measurements taken. The second is that they offered a wide range of sizes, which worked well for our over 6 foot tall Groomsmen. They do not offer a wide range of colors/patterns for their vests/ties/cumberbuns, so we looked elsewhere for those. However, we were very happy with the quality of the suits and organization of their service.
My Husband looked so handsome in his tan suit from Men's Wearhouse! We bought the suit in the winter, on sale, and had a great experience. There was a minor snaffu with the alterations, but they fixed his pants quickly and at no charge. We will definitely return to Men's Wearhouse in the future.
I had a good experience with the men's warehouse. They had a nice selection of tuxes for the guys. When we initally went in to get fitted and pick out who should wear what the lady was very informative. She had great recommendations.
When it came to pick up the tuxes everything from what I heard was great. One person had to pick up their suit at another store but that was his own fault. Another person's jacket was either too big or too small. They fixed it right away. Everything seemed to fit wonderfully and we got what we expected to.
The only downfalls are: I felt like the suits were a little overpriced. Also, the suits had to be returned the following day. I felt like that was a little soon but it didn't seem to be a problem for anybody.
I would recommend them.
My Fiancee found it very easy to go in, pick out a tuxedo and variations for his attendants to wear. Now all they have to do is go get measured. The entire she-bang including shoes was very reasonably priced (he didnt tell me EXACTLY how much) and all of it will be ready for him to pick up on Christmas Eve at an MW Tux location near our Destination Wedding in Florida!
We went with Mens Warehouse and Bob actually ended up buying his own tuxedo. They were great to work with, had a nice selection and reasonable prices.
Menswarehouse is affordable but does not make sure the men get the correct size tuxes. My husband's tux didn't fit and they masde him take it. It looks rotten in the pictures!
Verynice suits, nice employees, very helpful. they where able to adjust the suit that very day. Large selection as well.
My husband does not wear ties. The tux he picked out had a, guess what??? TIE. It fit so well, that he had no choice but to select it, and he looked wonderful!!!
The tux was reasonable price, but it took forever to custom order one... Plus they kept ordering the wrong tux shirts, wasn't too happy with that.
The tuxes were amazing! The guys didn't have to spend that much and the alterations were perfect. To me there is mo other way to go.
So far I like them. Good quality tuxes and nice selection. They let guys get there measurements done at any store...which is really nice. They don't offer free invites like a lot of other places though.
We loved Men's Wearhouse because we had people all over the country who were able to get fitted and pick up their tuxes in San Antonio
Great service, very professionl and ALL the tuxes fits perfect. Pickup and returns were so very easy.
The greatest part about Men's Warehouse is that they are everywhere. My husband lived in a different state than where the wedding was being held and was able to make an appointment for a fitting and order everything at a different location and have it show up at the Men's Warehouse in Lansing. The groomsmen also appreciated this and everything fit and worked out just as expected.
Great selection- willing to answer any questions and colors match anything. They offered many suggestions to help plan and many different varieties of colors, patterns and suits to match any style. Great place and ask for their 60.00 tuxes.
We got all of our tuxes here. They have a great selection and the sales people are willing to spend time with you while you decide. One of the only downsides is that we have to drop off the tuxes the day after the wedding.
Nice looking tuxes...many colors and styles to choose from! Several locations to pick up. We had many wedding members who were out of town...they made it very easy to order!
Our tux shop was MW Tux in the Treasure Coast Square Mall. They recommended the colors that we inevitably chose for our wedding. They were very willing to work with our budget while making the men look great. They suggested we purchase the tux rather than rent because it was a better value--the tux we bought was the same price as a two day rental!
We had our groomsmen buy their khaki suits rather then rent tuxes. The mens warehouse had the best price I found at $189/each. Alterations were included in the price. The Suites looked great. We bought the ties there as well to give to each groomsmen as a gift.
We did rentals for the groom, Father of the Bride, and groomsmen. Everyone was dressed the same. The tuxes looked pretty nice and all the guys seemed to be comfortable with them. Although, some may not like the shoes too much. A pretty good price, though, and flexible with our problems with getting everyone's measurements.
we always use this store for tux, they would also give us a good price and they also have excellent service
This was ideal for us because so many of our wedding party came in from out of town. Since Men's Warehouses are all over, it made it really easy for the guys to get measured in their own area.
This company provides great rentals on tuxes with a variety of styles and colors on cumberbunds, bowties, neckerchiefs, and vests. The prices are decent, and the quality is good. I recommend rental over purchase.
Went to the Men's Warehouse on North Academy in Colorado Springs...okay service. There was a delay getting the groom's suit tailored on time, but it at least showed up before the wedding!
Put together a great suit for my husband based on his preferences.
the people were quite nice and helpful, only thing was they didn't have an abundance of selection to choose from
We rented the tuxes for mu fiance and his dad at this store. The nice thing was that they are from another state, so they could be measured and order the clothes in one location, and then pick them up at a location close to the actual wedding.
Excellent job. All groomsmen looked great with no problem. Very convenient to have groom order tuxes in one store and have groomsmen pick theirs up throughout the country. Lots of styles to choose from and salespeople were very helpful. Grooms tux was comped. Some disagreement at the end about when tuxes were due but management at original store (Burlington, MA) got it straightened out.
My now husband did not have much to say but , “they were ok”, whatever that means! The tuxedos looked fine, they fitted well all down to the little groom and we had no problems returning them!
At first, I wasn't impressed at all with MW Tux. I'm having a victorian wedding so my guys are all wearing morning coats, ascots, the works. I knew this would drive the price up but not the amount I was quoted. My guys would be renting a tux for the same price my girls would be buying their dresses and that's unacceptable. However, after walking away, I received a call from the manager. When I told her that I didn't think I could use them because of the price, she asked if she could crunch some numbers and call me back. When she did, she told me she had contacted her regional manager and was able to work a deal for me to get the price down nearly the same as the less expensive store I was planning on going with. Very nice of her to do this. The upside to MW tux is if you have groomsmen coming from out of town, they can go to an MW tux in their hometown and get fitted the right way and you are sure that the sizes will be correct. I'm impressed with the service I've received and will be putting my deposit down this week.
Although I must say that The Tux store at the Saint Johns Town Center & every where just are wonderful people!!!!!!!!!! They will do ANYTHING you ask!!!!
The tuxes came out looking great. We had a small problem when we picked up the tuxes where some of the pieces were mixed up. MW Tux straighted everything out relatively quickly.
I designed a tux on their website, went to the store, and was told they didn't carry half of the pieces anymore--so I had to pick new tuxes on the spot. Not a big deal... ordering the five tuxes was a bit of a headache since all my groomsmen were scattered across the country and I wanted to pay for each. After going back and forth about addresses and payment, we finally got things settled. Until the groomsmen tried to get fitted. I ended up having to talk to several different brances (including my initial home branch) sometimes multiple times for the same result. And then returning the tuxes was a hassle due to the local management. Oh, and half the suits were missing pieces or the wrong size(s) when I picked them up. They got the missing pieces or correct sizes in, but we had to pick them up the morning of the event. Thought I'd paid for better planning than that.
The guys looked nice, they had lots of colors to choose from. If the bride is wearing ivory they guys don't have to wear white, there is an option of an ivory shirt.
We needed 15 tuxes. My husband picked the one he wanted at After Hours, before they changed over to Men's Warehouse - WORST CHANGE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All of our friends who have used After Hours in the past never had the kinds of problems that we did!Half the guys had different brand jackets, some had different numbers of button, they were not the same at all. Luckily they were all black. 5 guys were given bow-ties instead of ties. They had all our groomsmen running around like nuts the day of and before our wedding. They were sending them to different locations, it was horendous. DEFINITELY GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IF YOU CAN!!!! There is a Mom-and-Pop shop we would have used if we had known how horrible an experience it would be. (We didn't to try to make it convenient for the people who live far).
We got all of our groomsmen and fathers tuxes and the grooms tux from Mens Warehouse. They were a pleasure to work with.
We were greeted by friendly staff that knew their product. The tuxedo fit great and looked nice too.
Great service, included all the details, shirt, tie, handerchief's in pocket, socks, suit, and even the shoes. Best part is that alterations is FREE. Great service from staff. You get it all in one store and you are waited on. I went to several factory like stores and they were not able to conform to the size and body, either the sleeves were too long, the jacket was to long , it was frustrating. Just do yourself a favor and go to one place, it is not worth the agony and the money will end up being spent in the same amount.
I purchased my suit from Men's Wearhouse, and had my groomsmen and best man do the same at local stores to where they live. My wife was absolutely happy with everything, but I did find the service to be a little lacking, on the communication side. But everything turned out to be ok.
We don't have a Men's Warehouse here in the Yakima area, the closest is in the Tri-Cities, which is a little over an hour away. But we had groomsmen, ushers, and our ring bearer who didn't live in the area and it was easier for them to go to Men's Warehouse and get their measurements done along with the fitting and pick-up themselves to make sure that the tux fit properly. The guys looked great.
Mens Warehouse was okay. The local lady that helped us at a MTUX store was awful. She was unaware of what they had and how long it would take to get, and was rude. I had a much better experience with the actual Mens Warehouse as apposed to their MTUX store.
The tuxes were nice, but the vests that were supposed to match our bridesmaids dress "perfectly", didn't. They were partners with David's Bridal, where we got EVERYTHING else.
Not thrilled about the price, but it's one thing that has to match otherwise that award winning photographer you just spent a ton on won't be able to change. They have a wide variety to choose from which is great in case there is a change of heart in the color you want. Which I am sure will be me 2 months before the wedding.
Reasonably priced. Coordinates with my bridesmaids colors from David's Bridal. Variety of suits to choose from.
The staff at MW Tux has been extremely helpful. If you have 4 guys ordering tuxes from your party, the groom's is FREE!!!
The one in Albany, GA is very good at measuring and predicitng how children might grow. All 7 Tux's came in on time with all the right things. No waiting and no problems.
Said grooms tux would be free since i bought my dress at davids bridal, groomsmen were late on getting tux's sized so since 5 ppl in our party did get tuxes from them all of a sudden my husband had to pay for his tux. very rude and inconsistent.
My groom is getting all tuxedos at Men's Warehouse and so far we are happy with them. Staff was helpful in getting everyone sized appropriately. Also, they have a nice feature online for the groom to check on who has already been sized. Great selection of tux's.
They had an awesome special going on that we couldn't pass up! Overall, we were very pleased with the suits and their service! The boys looked very HOT!
they offer alot of styles of tuxes and if you rent 4 you get the 5th free! This helps cut the cost. They are also located everywhere! so it is good because the people in our wedding party are all over the country.
We are going to rent tuxes. They are a little pricey, but I like their attire. We have chosen a brown shade... they had it in a nice tux.
What a disaster! ALL of the tuxedos had at least one problem - no shoes, incorrect vest, stained vest (yep, my husbands vest had a grease mark on it), etc. Of course they didn't come in until 48 hrs before the wedding and only some of the problems were able to be rectified. The worst part was that the people at the shop were inconsiderate. I would never, ever recommend this place. It was a horrible experience. The only time I cried through all the planning etc, was when we went to get the tuxedos. I hate that place.
I wanted my fiance to wear a suit not a tux. He works as a coach and so needed a nice suit that he could wear after. At men's warehouse he was able to get that.
The groomsmen all used mens warehouse. Decent selection of colors, patterns and styles. They messed up the best mans tux and gave him the wrong size of almost everything but it was shortly fixed.
A little pushy. They did have a good deal that if the groomsmen got their tuxes their that the groom was free. However, made appointments for us without asking.
All of the guys are renting their tuxes from Men's Warehouse. Great customer service. They are directly linked with David's Bridal and can help match any dresses to the tuxes. Perfect!
My husband and his groomsman got their tuxes from here. Overall they were OK for a chain store, but the service was kinda blah. Trying to deal with them after the initial "sale" was difficult, especially with my three young nephews. One of the sales guys was really nice, but was really swamped and wasn't able to help us that much. The day before my wedding there was a problem with my nephew's tux and my sister (nephew's mom) said the woman at the store was VERY difficult to work with. My sister had to ask me to come to the store to deal with her. After I got there and talked to her, she was suddenly very accommodating.
I also found it interesting that they did not feel the need to mention to the guys who were renting white tuxes that they might want to get white boxers or underwear. They offered absolutely no assistance when the guys were scrambling around to get white underwear after their fitting the day before the wedding. Common...how many times has the average guy worn white tuxes and how many times have they sold white tuxes??? They could have mentioned that or at least helped the guys find new drawers.
For anyone interested...pay the extra money to go to a more personalized boutique.
We have rented Joel's tux before from here for other weddings and events and he absolutely loves this place. There is so much to choose from and the staff really knows what they are talking about. They personalize the tuxs to you. For our wedding, the groom will wear a pinstripe tux with a teal vest and tie. The groomsmen will wear black tuxs with teal vests and ties.
The best thing about Men's Warehouse is that they are all over. Our groomsmen were able to get fitted where they lived, and were able to pick their tuxes up here. I also loved that we were able to track who had gotten fitted and who hadn't online! Because we had at least 4 people renting tuxes, the groom's tux was free. That was really nice.
One thing that went wrong was that, three days before the wedding, everyone was going to try on the tuxes. The father of the groom's name is Robert, and the groom's name is also Robert. They mixed things up and tried the groom's tux on the father, and obviously, it didn't fit. Everything was a mess, and I think they had to order things in, but everything was fine for the wedding. Everyone was wearing what they were supposed to be wearing and in the correct sizes!
The tux's were nice, however we had to wait for 2 hours to try them on and pick them up. The service was poor and one of our tuxes didn't match the others.
They helped us find a great boy's suit that matched perfectly with the groomsmen's suits. He looked great with his matching tie and vest, and felt like a grown up when he looked just like his daddy.
My husband purchased his suit here. He looked sharp!
Great tux--and our favorite part was that you could place your measurements and have them shipped to whichever store was closest to your wedding site--and drop it off wherever is convenient.
My best Man and all my groomsmen live all over the US and California and the Mens Warehouse made it so easy for them to get fitted for a tux and have it in Pasadena 2 days before the wedding. Thanks Mens Warehouse you really saved me from a hassle.
THe tuxes came with vest and tie plus the shoes. We had to match 4 men so it was really easy and last minute. They rushed our order and evrything went great!
Men's Wearhouse seems to be pretty good quality and reliable, but not too expensive. I like theur website, you can check out color schemes etc. online.
This was a quick and painless experience. The employees were very professional and knowledgeable about their different attire. I was in and out within short time which made things easier. My groomsmen are all from out of town, so it was convenient for all of us to get matching tuxes. If I had to I would do it all over again.
We had so many grooms men that the groom and father of the bride didn't have to pay for the tuxes they rented. The tuxes were there for pick up when they said they would be and they did any alterations that needed to be don't in a timely fashion. I went off very well and would use them again.
The great thing about Men's Warehouse is that you can pick up your tux from one shop but drop it off at another one. Perfect for us as we are having an out of town wedding. Another great thing is that they work with David's Bridal so their colors match the colors at David's Bridal so the bridemaids and groommen will match.
Wow. This was an awful experience. The short version is that we paid WAY to much for tuxes, and then alterations were insane on top of it. The long story is that they lied to my husband about how much the tuxes would cost (which we didn't find out until the end). Then the guy measured them and ordered the wrong size. When the right size finally came in (the manager had stepped in at this point) we realized they also had forgotten to order the ties.
Anyway, when all this crap was all said and done, then the alterations came. Let me just say they charged $9 to hem EACH LEG. Insane. We actually joked a few times that we just should have taken it to my seamstress. She did a great job, and didn't charge nearly as much. I will seriously never go there again.
The men got their tux at Afterhours. They are very good about the prices and the thing that is best about Afterhours is that if you have groomsmen in different states they can go to an Afterhours near them and be measured for their tux and it will be added to your list!
Mens Warehouse had a lot of options for my husband and his groomsmen. They were really easy to work with. They were very knowledgable on their inventory.
If you get your dress from David's Bridal (who is affiliated with Men's Warehouse) they give you a coupon for $30 off each of your tuxes! Great deal...and the people at both places were very professional and helpful.
These people were very friendly. They measured my fiance the same day we ordered the tuxes, and were really knowledgeable converting his idea of a tux into specific examples. They brought us several vest/tie combinations until we found the one we wanted, and weren't afraid to share their opinions about which ones didn't work!
All of the groomsmen suits were on time and ready. However, the grooms tux was not ready until the day before the wedding and the jacket was a little small, but it was too late. Otherwise they were professional and it allowed us to get everything for everyone even though they lived in different states
If you are buying your bridesmaid dresses at David's Bridal, MW Tux has the perfect complimentary tux colors. They use the same colors (and color names) as David's Bridal, making it easy to know what color vest, tie, cumberbund, etc. you need.
We rented the tuxes from Men's Warehouse. It was convienent to have all the groomsman be able to get fitted in their local shops and then just pick up the tux in Glendale California and not have to deal with carrying them on the plane. Also, the groom got a free tux... which was nice. The key is to lock them in on a price because the prices were almost $40 more per person if we had not locked in the price 7 months prior... so when you get a price you like - LOCK IT IN... they were very easy to deal with and professional.
For my groom he went in was helped quickly had a great time and found exactly what he wanted. It took him only thirty minutes. and was very affordable.
They were ok. They helped coordinate the tuxes with the dresses. The only thing is that I did not like a different person everytime went in. I like the personal connections. ALso- on the day of the wedding, they did not have a pair of pants for one of the groomsmen and they had to send someone to the place we were taking pictures when they got a pair from another store. We were worried.
The quality, selection, and price were great. The salesman was the best! Thank you all the men looked great!!!
I sent my husband alone to take care of the tuxes. On our wedding day the men looked amazing – and to me – that is a great review for a men’s store. Because my husband obviously had TONS of help!
My fiancee got his tux here for his cousins wedding. They were on time, measured properly and looked good.
Our groomsmen and dads were all over the country, so it was nice to use Men's Wearhouse because they could get fitted at any of their locations. They had all the tuxes sent to the same place (our wedding was in California even though we live in Boston) which was helpful to make sure everything got to the right place.
HOWEVER, a couple of the tuxes needed major adjustments, and for some reason one of the groomsmen's tux jackets did not arrive- just the pants. I'm not sure how a glitch like that happens, but they assured us that a tux jacket would be there the morning of the wedding, and thankfully it was.
Tux rental seemed a little expensive, but they gave us a discount by signing us up for their frequent buyer program. I think they also might have given my groom a white vest with an ivory shirt (when I requested an ivory vest) but that might just be a variation of color.
We purchased 2 black suits. One for the groom and one for one of the groomsmen. The other groomsmen already had a suit. The staff was very helpful and the suits looked great when we went to pick them up. The alterations were perfect. The only problem we had is that they had misspelled the groom's name and it took them over a half an hour to figure out the problem. They had to go through every suit they had, waiting to be picked up.
Mens Wearhouse is very helpful in planning the men's wedding attire, and the staff who helped us were friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us all of the information we needed, and my fiance gets a free tux rental with the rest of the guys' rentals. There were many choices and we were able to get some really nice-looking tuxes.
After Hours was recommened in a discounted package by Davids Bridal. Fittings were fine, and I had two small boys in another state that were able to go to another location near their home and forward their measurements for our big day.
They were especially helpful, and went beyond the call of duty,as they volunteered to press (steam) my wedding gown. On the actual morning of our wedding, my husband to be, handled the task, like a knight in shining tux.
They were very courteous and professional. Getting my tux and setting up the orders went very smooth and everything came in on time and looked great!
We had a little trouble with the Mens Warehouse at first, 2 days before the wedding we realized they ordered the wrong under shirts for the groomsmen! But they put a rush in for them right away and had them the day of the wedding! Of course they charge us for this, but at least they got here in time. We would recommend to another couple, just because there isnt alot of selections in the Kansas City area to use.
They were very helpful. They match the colors at David's Bridal, which made things super easy. They are friendly and help you with all the planning... what a relief.
Although I feel like tux rentals are ridiculously overpriced, I thought the tuxes we had the men wear looked great, and they all fit properly with no problems. It's convenient to be able to have the guys pick up and drop off the tuxes at any location. Also, my nephew and little cousin ruined their patent leather shoes, sliding on their knees on the dance floor, and MW Tux simply accepted them and did not charge them at all.
My husband and my father went there for there rentals. My father actually also purchased a jacket. They were very nice and helpful andthey had a good selection. They do alterations there as well and that went smoothly
They were great with the men. They were dressed very well. Their selection is stylish and updated as well as classic and traditional.
Really friendly service and fairly inexpensive tuxedo rental. We were able to have out of town groomsmen sized at a different mens warehouse and they sent the numbers to our location. Very easy and definitely "guy proof".
Our only problem was that they did not tell us that you have to buy a child's tux. Our ring bearer was 2 at the time and they sent him a tux that would fit a 10 year old.....on the day of the wedding. Luckily, they fixed the problem, but it would have been helpful if they had told us their policy instead of ordering a tux they knew would not fit.
Amazing service! From the groomsmen to parents, everybody received excellent assistance. We also ended up purchasing our gifts for the bridal party and parents with the coupon they offered. Everything came out great and right on time.
Men's warehouse was wonderful and accommodating to our out of town groomsmen. Reasonable prices, great staff, and the shoes for the guys were actually comfy!
This store was a pretty good choice for us - we have relatives all over, so the many locations made it easier. We found the staff generally pretty helpful, although there were some simple things they neglected to mention: I think staff at places like this need to remember that, while they might do this every day, for most of us it's the first time! However, overall we were pleased with the outcome, and the prices were reasonable.
They are good to use. They have a variaty to choose from. ?They are priced very well also. Ww are happy that we chose them.
My fiance chose this place for his tux and the groomsmen tuxes. It was so cute to see my 6 year old get one too. They have a lot of different styles and colors to choose from. I wanted the guys have coat tails with cango hat.
The guys actually got a discount for their tuxedos so the prices were affordable.. Great colors to match the bridesmaids attire also.
Men's Warehouse was fantastic for our wedding. We had a groomsmen who was coming in from Brazil for the wedding and obviously wasn't able to make it in earlier to get fitted. So, Men's Warehouse let us give them approximate measurements, ordered a tux and guaranteed that they would replace it up until the Friday evening before (normally they require a final fitting a few days before that). The staff was friendly in all the fittings, and even the ringbearer enjoyed wearing his tux!
Good service. Tuxes were fine and the fitting experience was fine. Sneaky with their pricing and selection though.
great service! recommend! even provided last minute attire for an attendant that didn't know if he would be at the wedding or not.
Im guessing at the price.. talked to them briefly at bridal show. there were great in letting me know options... My wedding is in July, and I want the men to wear tuxes, but dont want them to roast. They let me know that there are tuxes that are for summer.
The tuxedos were selected and my fiance was measured and ordered his tux 5 months before the wedding. We gave all of the information to the groomsmen and ushers so they could go and get measured for their tux. The person at the store where the ring bearer was measured recommended the parents get a different tux for him than the one we had selected because she didn't think it was really the one that we wanted him to wear. Fortunately the parents of the ring bearer knew better. The store clerk called us two weeks before the final date for the men to get fitted to let us know who had not yet come in to be fitted. This was a helpful reminder so I called each of the guys and let them know again about the deadline. Two days before the wedding, my fiance went in to pick up his tux and they told him he had not been measured though he was measured 5 months earlier the same day he ordered and paid for the tux. They measured him in the store and did a 24 hour rush on the tux and when he went to get it the next day, it was way too big and they had to alter it in the store for it to be ready the next day. When he went to get it they told him he would have to pay a rush fee even though he had already been measured and they had not included him in the list of those who had not been measured when they called to remind us of the deadline. They also told him he was the last one to pick up his tux and that everyone else's had been perfect. However, two groomsmen had similar problems with the tux being way too big or way to small when they picked it up the first time and they had had to have the right size rushed for next day pick up and one of the groomsmen was given the wrong vest completely so in all the pictures his tux vest looks completely different from everyone else. They are probably one of only a few options in mens formal wear so if you do use them, I would strongly recommend checking and double checking that your measurements have been recorded correctly and the order has been placed and be sure that all the men pick up their suits AT LEAST two days before the ceremony so if there are any problems they can get it fixed before the event.
The consultants at mens warehouse were very helpful, they will let you know what looks good together and what doesn't. They will even give suggestions if you are unsure.
my husband had made his order for the tux a month in advance. when it came to the day of piking it up they were out of his size pants. i couldn't believe it. I would watch out for that. But the tux was very very nice!!!
