I found Meredith here on weddingwire and its one of the best decisions I made!!! I cannot say enough good things about her as a person and about her beautiful makeup. I met her for the first time for a trial with my mom at her beautiful home, I was greeted by her super cute dog! I was pretty nervous but I could tell right away we were going to get along great and that I was in great hands! She asked me what kind of look I wanted, and although what I told her was vague, she captured what I wanted flawlessly! She put on some music and we chatted, it felt like I was gossiping with an old friend. When she was done and showed me my face I was floored, it was perfect....I felt beautiful and the makeup was very very very natural. I loved it. She did an amazing job on my mom and sister as well. On my wedding day I was reaaallyyy nervous, and again she put on music and we chatted and I felt much more at ease. She also had an apprentice that day whom I adored....they both went out of their way to a) get to know me and b) make me smile. I highly,highly recommend Meredith Hayman!!! You cannot go wrong!!

Meredith was great. She did exactly what I wanted as I am super picky with my makeup and it stayed all day. She was a great value for a large bridal party and all of my bridesmaids loved how they looked. I could not have asked for more!

Meredith did a fantastic job on makeup for myself, my mother, 7 bridesmaids, and my mother in law, all by herself, and finished a little early! Our makeup was flawless all day and everyone received many compliments. The pictures that people took came out great too. Also, Meredith was able to be a calming influence and keep the jitters to a minimum. During the time leading up to my wedding she was always available to discuss options and help me plan how the day would go.

Meredith did an amazing job the day of my wedding! It was supposed to be a nice October fall day, but it wound up being cold and a blizzard!! She arrived at my house and her warm personality (plus her fun music she brought over) definitely calmed my nerves. At one point when I was told from my limo company that they could not provide me with the limo that I had wanted due to the bad weather, I started to get upset. Meredith said to let it out because she was still there and could touch up my makeup! She was extremely helpful and did an amazing job. My makeup lasted throughout the night (even with the tears) and came out beautiful in all of my photos. Meredith even gave me a little bag with all of the beauty essentials that I used throughout my day. I would highly recommend her to any bride out there!

Meredith did all the makeup for my bridesmaids, my mother and me at my wedding at the end of October at The Garrison. She is AMAZING. Several of my bridesmaids were concerned about getting their makeup done due to some bad experiences in the past and they stepped down from Meredith's chair glowing and smiling from ear to ear because they loved their makeup so much. She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day and we all looked perfect in our pictures. Having Meredith do my makeup as well as my bridal party was great. It felt like she was one of the girls as we sat around the table talking and listening to music. She even made up our little flower girl. I loved Meredith from the day I met her for my trail and was even happier the day of the wedding. I am normally not big into writing reviews, but reviews are how I found Meredith, so I figured I would return the favor. First of all, I have to say, I am so happy that I found Meredith. She is AMAZING and does AMAZING work! Meredith is very flexible and is able to do many girls in a short amount of time, without anyone feeling rushed! She was able to do myself and 8 others with plenty of time to spare! Everyone looked stunning as well! When Meredith came to my house, she arrived on time and brought music to set the mood for the day! I loved having her at my house to do my makeup because she felt more like a friend than a make up artist. I received many compliments on how I looked that day and I have Meredith to thank for that! I feel you get a lot for your money with Meredith. She really gets to know you, makes you feel comfortable and does a fabulous job! Meredith was one of the easiest vendor decisions I made. She comes highly recommended and for a good reason, she's the best! On a very hectic and extremely important day she was able to not only make the bridesmaids, mothers, and myself look beautiful but she did it quickly and efficiently. Meredith did make-up for my sister's wedding. She did the bride, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom. She was able to make all four of us look beautiful and incorporated each of our personal tastes flawlessly. She even provided great pre-wedding tips to help get our skin in tip-top shape for the big day, and gave us lessons on how to "catch our tears" - just in case! (Which came in REALLY handy!) She was a pleasure to work with and was so easy to coordinate with prior to the event, and was professional, prompt, and a wonderful addition to my sister's wedding day preparation.

Meredith is a stellar make up artist. I came to her with a very specific look in mind & she aced it without a moment's hesitation. I highly recommend her to anyone (not just brides) in want of a bit a glamour for a special day.

Meredith is WONDERFUL! She was very accomodating and fit us in for a last-minute consultation on the only day my sister was in town. As soon as we met her, I knew that we’d be in good hands. She nailed the look that I wanted (not overdone at all), and we had a lovely time chatting with her for the afternoon. She also gave me some tips to get my winter-dry face moisturized by the wedding six weeks later.

On our wedding day, Meredith was ready at the venue when I arrived, and got right to work. I couldn’t be happier with the work that she did – I felt gorgeous all night long, and have the photos to prove it! Meredith also did a great job on my sister and both moms. She even cried with my mom when I got into my dress (and her trick for “catching” our tears was very useful). I found Meredith Hayman online and was VERY happy with her services. She is the most for the money of all the other makeup artists I found and she was so easy to work with in terms of scheduling and determing the best plan for the makeup for my bridal party and me. I wanted to look natural but glamorous and she worked with me to find the best combination which I was so happy with on my wedding day and in the photos. Meredith was also nice to have around on the wedding day - when things were a bit hectic, she was calm and stayed in the background yet kept us on schedule. I will recommend Meredith to all of my friends for any occasion.

Meredith did my makeup, as well as for my 7 bridesmaids, my mother and my mother-in-law for my October wedding. Everyone looked just beautiful and very natural (nothing looked artificial or overdone). Meredith knew how to bring out the best in each of us, and really listened to each girl regarding what they were envisioning. Everyone loved her. Not to brag but I was GORGEOUS on my wedding day thanks to Meredith! I felt so beautiful, confident and relaxed knowng my make-up was perfect. She gave me her honest opinion based on my skin when I was undecided between traditional and air brush. I did traditional and it stayed throught the entire day! I not only have a great make-up artist in my roster but also made a dear friend. I highly recommend Meredith for her professionalism, her talent and for being my 'calm' in the bridal suite! She also had tricks to fix unexpected accients (such as me dropping red ink all over my hands) and prep and make-up tips that I will take with me for a lifetime. Meredith is very patient and efficient. She did my makeup "the bride", entire bridal party of 7, plus mother of the bride, and an impromtu touch up for imperfections for the father and brother of the bride in 4 hours! She made everyone look good :)

I barely wear makeup and the thought of having a lot of makeup on for my wedding completely freaked me out - I had a few trials with Meredith and she made me feel extremely comfortable about the whole process - she is VERY good at what she does and I was extremely happy with the end result. She also did the make up for my 10 bridesmaids - she was very organized the day of and coordinated with the girl that wad doing our hair to make the day run very smoothly.. she was VERY clean (which is always a HUGE plus). I would recommend Meredith to any bride she was professional and did a wonderful job!

Meredith was absolutely wonderful to work with. She is easy going, flexible and does beautiful work. She brought an assistant with her and easily applied and touched up make up for 7 girls. Meredith came to the hotel to do my makeup and 4 other people in my bridal party. The makeup came out amazing for all of us and lasted all day. I do not typically wear makeup but it looked very natural and I love it! She even got me to wear the fake eyelashes (I was against them at first) and they looked so natural and didn't bother me at all the entire day. I would highly recommend Meredith to anyone and would use her again without question.

Meredith is fantastic. She takes time to get to know you, and really puts you at ease, both during your trial and on the day of. She is cute and upbeat, and just fun to be around. I've had my makeup done professionally a handful of times before, and have always been disappointed. When I told Meredith that I wanted to look like myself on my wedding day, and didn't want to look like I was wearing makeup, she actually listened! None of my bridesmaids were planning on getting their makeup done, but once they saw how mine came out, everyone decided to do it. She is a little bit pricey, but truly worth the money.

Several months before my wedding I met with Meredith for my make-up trial. Upon meeting her, she was extremely friendly and professional. She did an incredible job and I knew that this was someone I would feel comfortable with on my wedding day. She did the make-up for 9 people in total and was great with estimating the time everything would take. Meredith created a different and unique look that complimented each girl and everyone looked absolutely beautiful. Everything worked out well and I would highly recommend her services to any bride!

Meredith did a beautiful job on my wedding day, even though i made her create a completely different look and color combo for my makeup on the DAY OF than previously used in my trial! She called as soon as she thought she may be late, and of course was NOT late. But that still helped us prepare for rearranging the schedule if need be.

I was very pleased with Meredith's service and would recommend her to anyone. She was very up-front and honest about her work, about why she doesn't use air-brushing, etc. My makeup, along with my bridesmaids, looked very natural, both in person and in the pictures, which is exactly what I wanted. And suprisingly enough, when I finally got home at 2am, I still looked great! We're talking over 12 hours of makeup in the hot july sun. That's pretty amazing.....

Meredith was a lifesaver. By the time I found her (about a month before my wedding) I had gone through 7 (seriously!) makeup trials. Bouchelle was booked for my date and everyone else I tried (from recommendations
on this board, to dept store makeup counters) left me looking not at all how I envisioned myself on my wedding day. Meredith came to my apt. for the trial and came to my hotel for my wedding day and this was by
far one of my best decisions. I didn’t have to leave the hotel for anything and was able to relax with my mom and sister and enjoy the day. Meredith did such a beautiful job – I gave her a picture to work off of and she replicated the style perfectly plus she was so great to have around – very relaxed and fun and easy going. I can’t recommend her highly enough – my makeup (and my mom and sister’s too) stayed on all night, looked fabulous, and she made the experience so much fun. Plus her prices are amazing - $75 for the trial (including travel) and $75 for the day of (also including travel - within Manhattan I think).
