Everything was wonderful! The consultants were very friendly and I received a lot of compliments on my wedding dress. I felt like a million bucks and I was thrilled with the way everything came out.

Loved my Paloma Blanca dress. The staff was helpful and good selection.

Mia Bridal is a fabulous wedding attire vendor. The ladies are all very nice and helpful. Their dresses are amazing; only the best. And they give you a discount for bridesmaid dresses of you purchase with them.

Great place to find a dress. Only it is very small, and they don't have as big a selection as other places. Still, their trunk shows and sample sales are great for the bride on a budget!

I live in Brazil and was purchasing a dress in Houston because our wedding was in Houston. The experience that I had trying on the dress in September of 2010 was very lovely, and I had a lot of fun with Mary helping me try on dresses. We found the perfect dress!

I was informed it would be delivered in late February 2011 for our April 2011 wedding. In January, the team at Mia informed me that my dress had arrived early, and I emailed the response to let them know that I had scheduled my trip to Houston for the end of February, per our original discussion and would be there then to pick up my dress.

My mom lives in Kansas and hadn't been able to be involved in the process, so that weekend that I went to pick up my dress, I invited my mom to join me for the dress fitting. She is somewhat terrified of flying, so it was a big deal for her to join me for the weekend! When we arrived at the dress shop and I had gone back into the dressing room, the dress bag was opened, and GASP, it was the wrong dress.

I thought it couldn't be real, but then we found out on the following Monday, that the wrong dress number had been entered into the computer, and indeed the wrong dress had been ordered.

The team at Mia Bridal Couture worked with Jim Hjelm in NY over the next 6 weeks to get the dress to Houston in time for our wedding. Thankfully, they were able to accomplish this, and I was able to have the dress of my dreams for my one big day.

They were professional throughout the process of fixing their mistake, and they informed me that they would cover any rush alteration fees. However, when I went to get the dress altered, at the shop that they had recommended, there were no rush fees. So, in the end, I got the dress, but felt duped with respect to this promise of covering extra costs.

All in all, it is a beautiful shop, and I enjoyed the experience of picking out the dress there. That being said, I would not wish this stress of not knowing whether or not you will have the dress you dreamed of for your big day on any bride. The last weeks of details are already stressful enough without one of the biggest parts of the wedding, the dress, remaining uncertain.

I had the most wonderful time at Mia's Bridal Couture. I purchased my dress here over Thanksgiving 2009 with my Mom. It was one of the most beautiful salons I'd ever been in - and everyone there made me feel so relaxed, and welcome. It was such a great experience, and I wish I could go back again and again!

They had so much to choose from & they are soooooo nice! I found some wonderful accessories & will certainly be back here once I settle on a dress.
