My husband and I are so thankful for Derlin from Miami premier DJ's. He helped make our wedding day a huge success. Derlin adapts very easily to the crowd. We appreciated the way that he played more of the type of music that got people out of the seats and on the dance floor. Prior to the wedding day Derlin was very easy to talk to even though I was a bride who was very nervous about having a DJ for our wedding reception. We would certainly call Derlin again if we're ever going to have a big party again!

Miami Premier DJ's provided lighting for my wedding. Great vendor to work with! People commented on the ambiance that the lighting created. They were on time setting up and cleaning up.

Our wedding was amazing thanks to Derlin and our wedding coordinator Daniela! Everytime I had a question or needed to add anything on to our itinerary they responded quickly and made me feel comfortable on my decision to have them host my wedding. Derlin kept my guest on the dance floor all night and Daniela made sure my wedding went smooth without a hitch and the lighting and picture favors where a hit! Thank you!

I am so thankful to Derlin. For playing such great music, for getting people a little more in the mood to dance and party and for putting up with our abscent minded wedding planner. He is such nice guy and our wedding wouldnt have been the same without him!

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Describe your DJ style:

We have several Djs each having their own unique style. We can provide high-energy, interactive DJs, club style beat mixing DJs, modern for chic up-scaled events, and most importantly always CLASSY and PROFESSIONAL.

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?

No! There is no limit. You and your guests can request as many songs as you like, unless YOU the client wishes not to have guests request songs.

What is your usual attire?

The attire ranges from casual to formal and will depend on the type of event.

If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?

All pre-requested songs will be available by the DJ the day of your event.

How many other DJs do you work with?

We have 10 DJs available for events.

What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?

Our packages start at 3 hours.

Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?

100% YES! We believe that the success of a flawless event comes from preparation. A face to face meeting allows us to understand the clientâ€™s style and needs for their event.

Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?

Yes! Most of our DJs are bilingual and come from different ethnic backgrounds.

Can the client submit a do-not-play list?

Yes! Most of our DJs are bilingual and come from different ethnic backgrounds.

Do you bring your own equipment?

Yes, we will bring all the equipment necessary.

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?

We have several lighting options and extras to choose from. We offer LED Up-Lighting for room ambiance, Custom Monogram lighting with Initials or full name, intelligent lights (Club style lighting), LED Dj booths, Video DJ, Custom slide shows with projector screen, and much more

How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?

The set-up will depend on the package. Normally it is 1-2 hours to set-up, and 1-2 hour to brake-down. It is preferred for the site to provide a table but not necessary.

Do you have any extra space requirements?

Normally the space required is 6x6 feet.

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?

We are absolutely against signs or banners. We like to keep our set up clean and professional.

Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?

Yes, we would make all traditional announcements. But talking between songs is considered annoying by some people. Our DJs are interactive and high-energy but do not over do it!

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?

It is mostly about song selection. Our DJs play to the crowd to keep everybody dancing.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We normally do not take breaks, and meals are not required. If dinner is provided for the DJ there would be a 10-15 minute break with continuous music playing for your guests.

Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?

Yes, our DJs will have a continuous play list for breaks if necessary.

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

We will always have at least one DJ on call.

Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?

No, we only book one event per DJ per Day.

What is your overtime rate?

It will depend on the services and package.

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?

Travel is included in the package pricing, except for destination event

What is the required deposit to secure your services?

There is usually a percentage required depending on the package price to reserve your date.
