Ok, I have one simple question for you: Are Micah&Megan available for your wedding date? If you are lucky enough that they are, then Voila! Your search for a photographer is over. Book. Them. Now. Ok, now that you have made the best investment in your wedding I can prepare you. This is no ordinary business transaction. I actually have been putting off this review for some time now just because I have so much to say. Micah and Megan will give you wedding photos that will move you, that will take you back to all the emotions of the day, that will make you smile and make you cry. I can honestly say I have watched video clips of my wedding, and they were not able to capture the same emotion as a chronological slide show of my photos. There is true artistry here. I can really go on and on about how stunning the photographs were, but you can see that on their website. What the website will not tell you is about Micah and Megan as people. I can’t imagine someone meeting them and wanting anyone else to capture their big day. They are beautiful couple, and they love to see and capture the love in others. Keep this in mind: your photographers are following you the whole day. Even though Micah and Megan do this for a living, you know they love what they do because on the day it feels like they are family. While taking their amazing photos, they are not just going through the motions, they are going through the emotions. They truly share in your excitement. With that said, they do a great job of being unobtrusive. They aren’t distracting or draw any unwanted attention. They strike the perfect balance of being hidden, but not being disconnected from your day. I also want to note that they were great to work with in all the hectic preparations for the wedding. I was living in NY while planning my CA wedding, and they were so helpful and responsive to phone calls/skype meetings to make sure every detail was ironed out. Plus, they are just fun to talk to.
I don’t think I’ll be showing any video clips of my wedding 20 years from now, but I will still be in awe of these photos.

Micah&Megan are unbelievably cool. It takes me a while to wrap my head around the fact that we were able to meet this wonderful couple who are extremely talented, professional, and fun. They have so much creativity and passion for what they do that it's inspiring to see them work and put their hearts into every photo they take. They also have a great balance of strong artistic vision and style, while having the ability to incorporate a couple's ideas, and silly suggestions.
In our engagement sessions, as well as before and during the wedding, they were able to capture beautiful moments, precious hugs, group laughter, heart-warming gestures, silly emotions, the swagger in surprise dance numbers and more! Our personalities as individuals, and our dynamic as a couple were all reflected in our photos, including our interactions with families and friends on this memorable day. All of this was done gracefully, within the hustle and bustle of the event, and with their own easy-going personalities, combined with sheer expertise, our families and friends (along with us) end up loving them too.
During post-wedding recaps, our families ask us about Micah&Megan as if we live next to each other. They are THAT awesome! "So how are they doing?"… "Mom/Dad/Auntie/2nd-cousin-twice-removed, you can follow their blog… it's at micahandmegan.com"
In all seriousness, when I look back at our wedding, I remember them not only as "vendors" -- they are a happy couple who are a part of this special occasion, and who happens to take fantastic photos! We couldn't ask for more. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone I meet.

Micah & Megan are a true gem of a couple. Their love for each other is expressed in their love of photography and their desire to share that with everyone. We had the two of them around all day long! The number one reason we went with Micah & Megan was for their "artistic" style of photographer. We didn't want boring wedding photos and they delivered!

I could not be happier!! First of all Megan and Micah are two of a kind and really have a gift, they have passion for capturing unforgetable memories. They create art, they are artist and they have talent, like you are the puzzle and they are the last two pieces that fit and turn it in to art.
My first meeting with the two was a great experience my husband and I felt like we have known them for years. Our engagment shoot was so much fun and a great experience. They have great communication with their clients and give you many options on how you would like your potrits to turn out. They keep you updated with your CD;s and website access.
Our wedding day was amazing and our pictures exceptional. we let them decide on how they wanted to take the picture and we were truly happy Our guest were amazed at their professionalism and personality. They honestly get down and dirty to get the perfect shot!!

Micah and Megan were fantastic! Not only did we love them, our guests did too! They were professional, friendly and the pictures were amazing. As a bride, I didn't have to worry at all about them getting a shot or what they were doing, which is a true blessing on your wedding day. They also don't forget about you after your day is over, they kept me updated on all of my CD's and website updates, which was great for all of my out of town guests.
About Micah & Megan Photographers
Having picked up a camera for the first time in high school I found myself tinkering with all kinds of artistic outlets from songwriting to photography. We've all got gifts, some of which we are aware of and others that are right under our noses, so close that we can scarcely see them ourselves. Like that piece of food stuck in your teeth that would have otherwise gone unnoticed for days on end, sometimes we just need someone to point it out. Sometimes we need someone we love to remind us how embarrassingly obvious the thing that we are meant to be doing is. Having photographed people all over the world for a number of years, it was not until I fell crazy, head-over-heels in love with my wife that I began turning the camera on other couples. Love has profoundly inspired my art, and I can only hope to further inspire your love through my images.
I shoot with my incredible wife, Megan. We love travel, hiking, Vespas, camping, music and New York City. We love dogs and have picked out dozens of names for our future pooch. Mexican food and margaritas is a perfect date. We are both left handed and every morning we drink at least one cup of coffee.
