Michael Howard Photography

Michael was so great to work with, from our intitial meeting all the way through to receiving our pictures! We love his style--it's completely unique from any other wedding photographer, especially in the Nashville area. Although his point of view is pretty editorial and has a definite style, he was completely open to my sending him examples of other work that I liked...and was able to give us an awesome mix of his signature work plus the more organic style that we also wanted. On the day, he and his assistant blended in with our guests when we needed them to, and stepped out to direct when we needed that. Really easy and comfortable to work with--which is extremely important! We didn't think we'd be able to afford Michael when we first began shopping for photographers, but he let us know that some of his packages had been reduced in price due to the economy...so we were able to get exactly what we wanted without any extraneous "stuff" (prints, etc.) We got a disc with all of our pictures to do whatever we need to with. We are so pleased we went with Michael, he did an amazing job!

Michael Howard was the very first wedding vendor I knew without a doubt that we would be using. I have worked with Michael on various shoots in the past and his eye and quality of work were so amazing I knew he would be our wedding photographer. Michael did our wedding day coverage as well as a bridal portrait prior to the wedding day. The end product was AMAZING! Our families were so pleased with all the images that he captured and the way he saw our wedding day through his lens was phenomenal. We definitely received what we paid for with him and if I can give any bride advice, do NOT scrimp on your photographer. This person will be capturing memories for a lifetime, make sure you get someone with an amazing product and someone you feel comfortable with. We are so happy with our choice of photographer and love our wedding photos!

Michael Howard is a great photographer! He is professional and quick. Overall the prices seem a little much but we really wanted him to photograph our wedding. He did an amazing job, there are no bad photos.

The photos are beautifully framed…even the candid little snapshots look like they could be in a magazine. The color is gorgeous. Michael came out and met with us at our site the day before (at no extra charge) to scout out the best photo locations…this really helped on the day of the wedding because he knew exactly where to go and what to shoot. The price was definitely over our budget, but we splurged on this and are so glad we did! I strongly feel that with photography, you get what you pay for. We have had so many compliments on our photos.

I would give Michael Howard Photography the highest review!! My husband and I fell in love with Michael's style of photography. He captures moments, not staged poses. His easygoing personality and talent made him such a joy to work with! After we got our photos we could not be happier. From my bridal portrait to the big day, he captured our personalities and our love for each other! He went above and beyond again and again. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants beautiful, quality photos!!!

Michael Howard was an OUTSTANDING photographer!! My pictures are AMAZING, and EVERYONE who sees them praises their quality!! Too, I like how Michael was not visible at all throughout my ceremony...very discreet, so the focus was on my husband and me...not the clicking of a camera!! Too, my wedding album is PHENOMENAL!!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Michael Howard Photography!!! I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND him!!!!!!

Our pictures are amazing! We had a "trial run" with Michael during an engagement shoot, and we loved the pictures so much we displayed many of them at the wedding. The only problem is that I am having trouble choosing only a certain amount to put in a wedding book for us and our parents since there are so many good pictures from the wedding day!
