Michael Moore is truly a professional photographer in every sense of the term. There are many people out there who buy very good photographic equipment and claim to be "professional photographers". It takes more than the equipment to create stunning and memorable photos. Michael accompanied me, my wife and our 25 other guests to Italy for our destination wedding. Suffice to say, Michael's comprehension of the beautiful location was completely evident in the photos he took during our wedding week. Once you see one of Michael's photos, it is clear that he is more than a photographer, he is an artist who works in the photographic medium. The use of colours, unique textures already available in the environment, composition, and lighting along with his ability to get the best out of those being photographed is akin to a master painter, creating a masterpiece in every single photo. I don't need to say anymore, as the quality of his work is evident in the photos. All you have to do is take a look at them and you'll see what I'm talking about. You won't find anyone better if you need important photographs taken of any special occasion.

Michael and his assistant were very freindly and professional. I really enjoyed working with them and having them at my wedding. The album we ordered was amazing and really good quality as well as the disc with all my photos. As for the quality of the shots we could not have asked for anything better they were awesome. Great colors and creativity. Overall very happy with his service.

Michael is extremely professional and also makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Through his photos you can clearly see his inherent talent and the final product is truly incredible. I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring professional photography services.

Michael Moore was a great photographer to work with. He was extremely professional and not pushy like other photographers I have witnessed in the past. During the ceremony he took beautiful pictures yet you would hardly know he was there! The coffee table album he created is beautiful and is something I will always cherish.

Michael's photos are honestly some of the best I've seen. He photographed a friend's destination wedding. From what I witnessed, Michael was very easy to work with, very professional, and understood what the bride and groom wanted - in fact, exceeded expectations. He also ensured the happy couple received their finished product in the time agreed upon. Highly recommend him!

Michael made us look great on one of the most important days in our lives. He has also done a shoot of our first born son, and of weddings for friends and family. He is adaptable and creative and has a great degree of technical skill. Very highly recommended!

What primary photographic style do you identify with?

Do you have liability insurance?

Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?

Is your media preference film or digital?

Digital

How many photographers do you work with?

One photographer (Michael) and an assistant.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Yes

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Never more than one wedding on a single day. Sometimes two on the same weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

I'm a member of a large network of local photographers who can be contacted in the event of an emergency.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

Two 22MP DSLRs plus a backup body and an Infrared-converted DSLR. Various professional lenses (including backups) and a large collection of lighting equipment.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes - I have backups for all of my main cameras, lenses and lighting gear.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

Usually full-day (7-8 hours) with the option of adding additional hours ahead of time or on the day. Smaller hourly packages are available in the off-season or on weekdays.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Yes, I'm available to shoot extra hours and my rate ranges between $100/hr and $200/hr depending on the package selected.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

I don't require this, but it's always appreciated in the evening. Usually the guests aren't keen on having their photos taken while eating dinner anyway. ;)

Do you charge for travel?

Travel is included within 2hrs of Milton, ON (covers most of the GTA). Outside that can be quoted on a case-by-case basis (travel fees may be fully or partially waived for larger packages).

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

A sneak preview blog entry is usually uploaded within 2 weeks of the wedding (approx. 12-20 images). Full proof gallery is usually ready between 1-2 months, depending on the time of year.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

Online proofing/print ordering gallery.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

Online proofs are available for 2 months after posting but can be extended if necessary.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

Yes, but the client has full reproduction rights for personal use.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Yes, but this can be negotiated.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

Yes. This is included in all packages except "A-la-Carte".

Will images be available for viewing online?

Yes

What kind of albums do you offer?

1) Highlights Album - 20-side album with approx. 25 of the best images
2) Storybook Album - 30+ side custom-designed album with approx. 100+ images artistically arranged to tell the full wedding story. Available in Flushmount and Fine Art Book flavours.

When will the client get the final album?

Album proofs are usually ready between 2-4 months after the wedding.
