Angelo, from MichaelAngelo Music, was the DJ at our wedding (ceremony, cocktail and reception music), and he was FANTASTIC. We would give him more stars if we could!He is extremely helpful and professional throughout the planning process. He knows exactly how to keep the wedding guests engaged in the reception and on the dance floor. We received numerous compliments from our guests about Angelo and how he kept up the the energy of the reception. We did not have many specific song requests, and he filled in places where we needed music with songs that fit in with the rest of our choices.We would highly recommend Angelo to anyone looking to have a fun and memorable wedding reception. We were so honored to have Angelo be a part of our wedding day.

They were really great! Everything went smoothly at our wedding. I(the bride) of corse had a little break down after spending some time with my sick grandfather. It of corse through off the toasts, which happened to through the entire origional schedule off. It could have turned the night into a disaster, but we absolutely had no worries! No one even expected that the toast had been thrown off, because we had Michael Angelo Music there to keep the party going. He re-aranged our schedule to make the night flow properly. I can't even count the number of compliments I recieved at our wedding about our DJ, MichaelAngelo Music. Our DJ Angelo was amazing--he really knew how to pump up the crowd and get the party started! Hats off to MichaelAngelo Music!! My wife and I just celebrated our wedding on 8/27/11 and we couldn't have been more blessed by having Angelo as our DJ and MC. First off, for those of you who are looking into hiring a DJ/MC for your wedding, I know it's easy to hire your friend who's a DJ (believe me, we were thinking of doing that) to cut costs, PLEASE do yourself a favor and hire a professional DJ who can also MC your wedding with the utmost professionalism and experience. These guys have been doing this for 20 years and know exactly what they're doing. I personally met with Angelo to go over the logistics of the wedding ceremony and reception, and he lead me every single step of the way. He's extremely mindful of the couples background, culture, style of personality, and will cater the music and overall ambiance of the wedding accordingly to your personal taste. For the wedding ceremony, Angelo was absolutely on point for every transition, from the prelude, to the bridesmaids introduction, and of course, the bridal entrance. Please keep in mind too that I had customized my playlist and no music was that of a traditional wedding. Yet, Angelo adhered to my every request and executed with no trouble at all. The reception and flow of the night is absolutely predicated by the music, being the tone setter, immediately following the wedding ceremony. It is then crucial to follow up with the father/daughter dance, mother/son dance, garter/bouquet, and cake cutting according to overall mood of the guests. Angelo adapted well as for the most part, our guests wanted to just drink and dance all night long. He was so great about either cutting the song short and transitioning to another song or genre by feeling the energy of our guests. Needless to say, we all left wanting more...and that's exactly what you want! Overall, I would fully endorse MichaelAngelo Music to all of my friends and anybody else looking to hire a DJ/MC. I cannot say enough wonderful things about DJ Angelo and MichaelAngelo Music. They were amazing from our first meeting to the last song of the evening! My husband and I have never been married before, so choosing a DJ was a first for us. We had seen a couple of others, but once we sat down and met with DJ Angelo, we were immediately taken over by his professionalism, attitude, and knowledge. However, in the final planning meeting with DJ Angelo, we just gave him an idea of what we were looking for music-wise. On the night of our reception, he did not disappoint! Everyone was up on the dance floor from the very first song and they all stayed there until the party was over! We were shocked that even our older guests stayed and partied the night away. DJ Angelo did such an amazing job of feeling out the crowd and playing the appropriate tunes to fit the atmosphere. He also provided the up-lighting for the room, which was so beautiful. The room was perfect!We still have people coming up to us since the wedding and asking who our DJ was that night. I have no hesitation in telling them about MichaelAngelo Music! Angelo DJ'ed our wedding at the Redondo Beach Crowne Plaza in March and was absolutely fantastic. He created such good energy for the grand entrance, had a terrific music list and great transitions that kept people on the dance floor all night, and displayed professionalism in all his interactions with us, with the guests and other vendors. I hired Michael Angelo Music for my wedding. I planned my wedding in 2 months. It was a little stressful. On my wedding day my wedding coordinator didn't show up (she had a family emergency). Michael from MichaelAngelo Music was great to work with! He was recommended to me by the reception venue, and from the very beginning, he was very friendly, warm, and responsive. Michael has a template that you can customize and follow if you aren't certain about the events that take place during a wedding, complete with descriptions for each event (i.e., first dance, cake cutting, etc.) and suggestions for song choices. I came up with my own schedule and had a few song requests, and Michael accommodated everything and played great contemporary love songs throughout the reception.We had a very short, 3 hour reception, and I was initially worried that we would run long or not be able to squeeze everything in. Michael was really great at managing the timing of the events and followed the schedule perfectly so that we had just enough time for everything. He sounds great on the mic as an MC and had the perfect balance of professionalism mixed with fun, creating the perfect vibe for a wedding reception.Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding music they have heard in a while!

Angelo DiLeva was our DJ for the wedding. Our dance floor was packed until midnight. He knew the right music to play to keep our guests dancing. Everyone had a great time. Already referred my sister in law and she booked them!

Michael was extremely professional. He was very flexible and accommodating. He was able to tailor the night's program to meet our needs. We had specific songs that we wanted played at specific times and he did a great job of fitting them in and getting every song we wanted - even the exact version of some of the more obscure songs we requested. As the night wore on, the timing of the planned events shifted, causing us to change the time line of our wedding and he adapted to the new schedule immediately. He had a great personality and kept the flow of the wedding going. Everyone danced throughout the night and we even had to extend our wedding for another hour because everyone was having so much fun. He was a big part of making our wedding successful.

Angelo was a fantastic DJ. He provided us with lighting & DJ services for our ceremony & reception. I didn't hire a wedding planner and he was very helpful in organizing the schedule of events before the wedding & acting as master of ceremonies on the day. I hate to think how hectic things would have been without his help. Before the wedding he met with me twice to go over details & help me make decisions I was unsure about. The lighting in the room also looked great. It really set the atmosphere in the reception room and has made the pictures look awesome. I didn't think we could afford lighting, but Angelo provided us with a DJ/lighting package that was very reasonable. He was not the cheapest DJ I found, but he was worth every penny!Everyone I have spoken to said it was the best wedding they've ever been to because the DJ was so amazing. We had a few songs we wanted played and a few we didn't, but for the most part left it to the DJ. (He didn't play any of the songs we didn't want played & all of the ones we did want played.) Angelo did a great job of reading the audience and playing songs that kept everyone dancing all night. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional DJ who really provides an all around wedding package.

We used the gentlemen from MichaelAngelo Music and we were thrilled! They did such a wonderful job at our wedding in late Aug 2010. Their music library is enormous and up-to-date! Michael Leach was wonderful! For days after the event, people continued to say it was the best wedding they had been to and I contribute a lot of it to Michael. He was also able to play some arabic music at the request of my mother. He made sure everyone got what they wanted and everyone had a great time.

This, by far, was one of the biggest highlights of our weeding. MichaelAngelo Music had everyone dancing all night long. My wife and I had an Arabic-Italian wedding. We had an Arabic Band and a DJ that played Armerican and Italian music. My wife and I had about 300 people at our wedding. For us, the music was most important. We met with MichaelAngelo a month before our wedding because we couldn't find a DJ that met our needs (Italian music). MichaelAngelo had a lot of good recommendations on what we should do. We went ahead and did them. It was perfect. My wife and I were worry about how the DJ and the band were going to take turns playing. There were going to guest and bring them on the dance floor, they were talking on the Mic, and were very professional about the whole thing. Michael DJ'd my wedding a few weeks ago and he was amazing! He kept the crowd dancing all night and made it a really, fun, fast paced party. I found MichaelAngelo DJ from a wedding expo being held at Los Verdes Golf Course. I immediately feel in love with Angelo and knew he had the personality to charm the audience and handle the room. Many DJ websites recommended that you hire 2 people for a 200 person wedding. Angelo convinced us that he could manage the crowd/music with no problem and he did. He helped us to cut costs where we could, and he had great ideas for fun things to do to involve the guests and add excitement to the evening. He spent a lot of time gathering information on songs that we wanted, and he helped us plan a time line that worked perfectly with the venue, the guests, the bride & groom and the sunset! Extras included music for our cocktail hour on the terrace, and up-lighting in Tiffany Blue for the stage. It was a magical evening, much of it because of Angelo!

Angelo is an amazing DJ and the uplighting he set-up in the ballroom was stunning. Michael also came along with Angelo which was a nice surprise. We had guests of all nationalities, persian, latin, belgian and he was able to place a great mix of music with little direction from myself or my husband. Michael & Angelo were very professional, we met with them twice, but had to do most of the pre-planning on the phone because we live in Monterey Ca. Michael was exceptionally helpful and understanding of our situation. He made us feel completely comfortable and confident that he would do a great job, and he exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived at the reception, he had things underway. The music he played really set the tone and his amazing design of uplighting set the mood. We had SO MANY people tell us how awesome our wedding was, many of whom asked for the MichaelAngelo's contact info at the wedding. I would highly recommend the upgraded uplighting package as well as the DVD slide show which they also provided. Another great thing is that MichaelAngelo's service provided a price range that I think anyone can work with. We had a budget and needed to stick to it. They offered many different options and we were able to choose exactly what we wanted and still fit it within our budget. We were very happy. MichaelAngelo Music service was above the average for price when compared to other DJs but we felt this was money well spent . We received an above average DJ and service but more importantly I think our wedding was above the average . I don't know where to begin. We have had numerous compliments on our wedding from "it's the best wedding they ever attended" to "it was a fairytale wedding". The vote is unanimous ... everyone had a great time and Michael knows how to make a party rock.

Ron and I had no firm ideas what we wanted to have played at the reception. With a few ideas from us Michael was able to pull together a great playlist from jazz, big band, rock, and country.

Michael had the equipment required by our soloist and the teens quartet during the wedding ceremony. He played jazz and big band during the cocktail hour. He has a great idea for introducing the wedding party which really got the party started.

The guests definitely had a good time during the reception. Michael is nice, patient, and a real gentlemen. He was a gem to work with.

Angelo provided us with a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception package. He was truely exceptional. His great emcee skills won over my crowd immediately. It's so important to hire a Professional Disc Jockey Entertainer for your wedding and that's exactly what we got when we hired Michael and Angelo of MichaelAngelo Music. They both are so classy and professional, NOT CHEESY. Your guests will certainly notice if you have a cheesy , chatty DJ that takes over the wedding. Michael and Angelo are quite the opposite. Michael was exceptional and made our wedding a fun and beautiful event! He is extremely professional and more than a dj. He keeps the wedding flowing and finds you at the right time to make sure you enjoy all the special moments. He sits down with you from the beginning and plans out a timeline of how you want your wedding to go. He makes your vison his own and really cares about your special day. I fell so lucky to have had him for my own wedding. He also did my siter's wedding and two cousins. Simply said, Micahel is the best!

MichaelAngelo Music was awesome! I wanted a DJ that could figoure out our taste through a quick meeting, and then go from there, and they did just that. They played a great mix of American and International music (which we wanted), and knew how to keep guests on the dance floor. I didn't want any "crowd participation" dances, and they stayed clear of that. The "Amore" toast sounded a little cheesy, but we went with it, and it was perfect. Guests enjoyed themselves. The only complaint was that when the contractual time was up, the plug was pulled a little too quick for my taste. I would have preferred the option to continue! Just discuss this ahead of time! Fantastic DJ though and I would hire them again!

MichaelAngelo Music did a fantastic job at my daughter's wedding. I live in WA state and my daughter was living in Hawaii before her wedding so a lot of the initial planning was done over the phone and via emails. Michael was very attentive and enthusiastic. When we visited CA a few months before the wedding, Michael accomidated our schedule so that we could meet, sit down and and plan the event. He gave us so much help with the reception timelime, types of music but was still smart enough to asked my daughter what she wanted done and listened to her requests. Part of the package included Michael being Masters of Ceremony at the reception. At our request he played all the different styles of music to include some Oldies, Mexican, Salsa, 80's and even some Hip Hop for the few Break Dancers in attendance. He asked for a "Do not play list", so songs that the Bridal couple did not want to hear were not played. From the moment the Bride and Groom entered the Banquet Hall to the end of the night there was music either in the background or in the
foreground for dancing and there was SO much dancing. We are a multigenerational and multicultral family and everyone was up and having a great time. MichaelAngelo's was professional, accomidating, but most of all FUN. If you are having an event in So Cal and need a DJ, I highly recommend MichaelAngelo's because not only will you get a DJ but you will get much, much more.

Michael and Garrett were a pleasure to work with. Michael was great with coordinating everything, and Garrett made the reception a superb time with his energy and enthusiasm. Both have wonderful personalities that make them great at what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I recently coordinated a magnificent wedding where I had the pleasure to work with Michael & Angelo. They were the music, entertainment, & backbone of the reception. They set up a stunning ambiance with their high tech lighting throughout the venue, accentuating the beauty of the space as well as making it much more dramatic. Their set up is tight. Lets see, how do I explain it. Many DJs use a typical 6 ft. table, Not Michael & Angelo. I called them Geek Squad because of the clean way they organized their equipment, very impressive. Exceptional DJs and MCs! All went smoothly and the dance floor was packed all night!Angelo and Michael of Michaelangelo Music did a great job hosting a wedding reception that I coordinated for the bride and groom. Angelo was our DJ and MC for the event. He was on time and he quickly set up his tidy, chic (and small!) music station. Music was sweetly playing and set the mood as the guests arrived. Angelo introduced the wedding party (all 25 of them!) and the bride and groom's parents and got the party off to a great start! He also had a great idea of doing an "A more Dance!" between courses. It really loosened everyone up and encouraged the bridal party to interact with the guests! After, dinner, Angelo was great at keeping the schedule of events flowing smoothly and he also kept everyone dancing all night long!The wedding took place two days after the New Year and Angelo was out of town with his family over the holidays. But I would have never know that because both Michael and Angelo kept in touch by email and phone the entire time! They both let me know what they needed from the bride and groom so Angelo would be ready to go on the wedding day.I thank them both so much for their great teamwork and I look forward to working with them both again in the future!Suzanne Carvlin
