One of the best decisions that I made in planning my wedding was hiring a wedding planner, specifically, hiring Michele Damon and her team-- I cannot say enough about the "Diva Diamond Damon’s"; frankly, I am not even sure as to where to begin. There are many things that I am, a wedding planner is NOT one of them. I was planning to plan my wedding in Maryland but I was living in Nigeria and my husband was living in Connecticut, so from the start we were presented with the challenge of distance. We visited Maryland for a week in May 2010, my mission was to find a wedding planner, however my fiancé was not exactly keen on the idea. Nonetheless, I called around to different wending planners in the area, and somehow I stumble on Michele’s Website. After reading her site, I knew instantly that I wanted her to be part of my wedding. We made an appointment to meet with her and she was on point so much so that my skeptic fiancé was totally convinced that we needed a wedding planner. The most important thing is that she worked within my budget as much as possible. I felt that she was more interested in making the wedding a wonderful day than trying to make a profit. Her response time to my needs was also impressive.
Choosing Michele to plan your wedding is the best thing that any bride can do, she is totally calming which is great for any stressed bride. I also dare say that her and her team totally care about your wedding more than you ever could—she was totally passionate. The follow up and the reminders from the team were amazing. My wedding had its hiccups as all weddings do, but Michele and her team made everything look seamless. My guests had a blast we made me and my hubby really excited. Now I must say that there is a downside to working with Michele and her team—when my wedding was over I missed them so so so much, I wished I could have them as part of my life for rest of my life. Michele love you much, and thank you so much for making my day a special one.

MDE is simply the best. Michele and her team worked to make sure that my day was perfect from beginning to end. Michele was with me every step of the way and I am forever greatful. I was able to have my dream wedding and remain within my budget. Thank you Michele and Co for a job well done!

My wedding was extra fabulous thanks to Michele Adamo and Michele Damon Events. From the first meeting, Michele was able to understand and embrace my vision for my wedding. She was unbeliveably responsive to any and all of my needs. She is well respected in the wedding industry and I had positive feedback from my vendors with respect to her/their utmost professionalism. On the wedding day she was everywhere, but I felt like she was always by my side ensuring that everything was picture perfect.
I can not imagine having a wedding without Michele Damon Events.

Michele and her team were wonderful! They were responsive, easily accessible, very flexible, very receptive to my ideas and requests and had AMAZING attitudes about everything (even the glitches and disappointments)! Any bride will tell you that planning a wedding is one of life's most stressful processes and Michele & Co. can take much of the credit for keeping me sane. She and her team went above and beyond – Michele often worked on planning details during her personal time and after hours; they customarily attended vendor meetings and made sure that we were comfortable before allowing us to go to any appointments without them, they even designed my seating chart during my last-minute crunch-time meltdown 2 days before the wedding! These ladies never made me feel like my requests (no matter how trivial) were insignificant and they always conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism with all they interacted with! I have already referred another bride to MDE and she is very impressed by what she has seen thus far. I would use MDE again in a heartbeat as they really helped to make the process of planning my wedding as easy as such an arduous task could possibly be. The day of my wedding was INCREDIBLE and ran very smoothly. My guests had an awesome time and MDE was able to silently put out a multitude of fires, which, we later learned, were apparently popping up all over the place! Overall, we had a great experience with this company and if you choose MDE, you will not be let down!

Michele and her team did an outstanding job with my wedding. I live in Florida and it is hard planning a wedding when you aren't in town. They were always there to answer questions and they listened to what we wanted. If there was any miscommunication or problems they were handeled immediately. I thought I was going to be stressed but with Michele and her team helping every step of the way I was able to relax and enjoy the whole experience. I would highly recommend her to any bride. You will not be disappointed!

I cannot say enough about Michele and her team. Megan was my wedding planner and with me to the end. She kept the rest of the team informed and on my wedding day, everything went off without a single flaw (that I know of).
What I love the most is that on my wedding day, I woke up and had breakfast and went on with my schedule and got to laugh with my bridesmaids and just enjoy the day. No one called me with questions, and I didn't have to call for a single thing. Everyone and everything showed up exactly when it was supposed to. That's exactly what I wanted.

Michele and her team are amazing! Michele paid attention to what I said I wanted in my vendors and she delivers! My DJ rocked the house and my flowers were stunning! Michele is a wealth of knowledge and I have no reservations about recommending her!

Thanks for the beautiful wedding & for spending two years with us, helping to make our vision come true. My mom and i had such a great time & lots of laughs, & really grew to see Michele as a friend outside of being our planner. My wedding was beautiful, and so many people tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding theyve ever been to!

Just a checklist for the bride to make sure she has everything before she heads to the ceremony (something old, new, borrowed blue, garder etc.). Otherswise everything was amazing, all my guests raved at how organized and smooth everything was.

Check list for bride to ensure she has everything (i.e. garter, something old, something new, etc.)

Check list of all possible wedding rituals to choose from and plan for (i.e. receiving line, jumping the broom, unity candle, etc.)

Michele Damon and her staff were fantastic! I initially met her at a bridal show and saw her table display...I fell in love. She is extremely professional, flexible, and easy to express your concerns without attitude. She has a keen eye for table and venue design yet open to suggestions.

I was so satisfied with her work that she will be planning my birthday party next year, 2011.

My family has hired Michele and her team to coordinate not only my wedding, but my sisters wedding, my father's 60th birthday party and my engagement party - if that is any sort of a telling sign of how much we adore Michele. Michele and her whole team were amazing to work with. Michele really understood the feel we were going for with our destination southern wedding and she truly made our big day spectacular. She had great ideas and was able to work through the logistical difficulties both in the planning process and on the day of - often without my knowledge that there ever were "difficulties." And while she was great throughout the whole planning process, she is a rockstar the day of!! She is so much fun to work with and even my vendors commented on how great Michele and her team were throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Michele!!

Our wedding designer was Drew Vanlandingham with Michele Damon Events. Drew saved my life and saved us money. We had ideas of how we wanted our wedding to be, but we had no idea how to execute those ideas. We were planning our wedding long-distance and Drew facilitated that process.

Drew has a distinct style and brings something unique to every wedding he plans. He came up with innovative ideas for how to transform all of our wedding spaces and give our reception space that exciting party atmosphere we wanted. And he was able to adapt all his ideas to my fiance's/husband's picky style.

Drew was there for us throughout the entire end of the process (we only decided to get a wedding planner 4 months before our wedding!). He even came up to New York, where we live, to be at my final fitting and to make sure we were comfortable with how everything was looking at the 2 week point. When needed, Drew held my hand and tended to whatever issues arose.

If you're fairly particular and have definite ideas of how you want your wedding to go, Drew (and Michele Damon Events more broadly) will help you achieve them.

Note: Drew will become a bride's best friend and he's fantastic at handling grooms!

Michele Damon Events is great! In the beginning stages of my wedding planning I honestly thought that I could plan my wedding on my own. My mother convinced me to seek and obtain the services of a wedding coordinator. One of my friends had used Michele as her coordinator for her own wedding last year and had nothing but great things to say, all of which turned out to be true.
The only flaw in what would have be a perfect experience was the communication capabilities of some of the Michele Damon Event assistants. A few of the vendors stated they would attempt to contact the assistant after receiving an initial email or telephone message and the assistant would never return the vendors call and the only way issues would get resolved was if Michele got involved. Ultimately this lack of communication lead to me not having ceremony music for my wedding ceremony.

Michele Damon Events made my wedding an event that people are still talking about 4 months later! The staff was professional and always easy to reach. They also saved me thousands of dollars off other services such as the flowers. Overall we were pleased with our wedding and would recommend Michele Damon Events to other couples.

Brides, if you are detail oriented, and have a standard, don’t be fooled, as I was, by the positive reviews of Michele Damon Events and by Michele Damon Events’ website. Although Michele and her crew were always extremely polite and always nice, their ability to shield a bride from issues is substandard at best. They rarely paid attention to the vital details within a vendors’ contract; MDE would continually send me inaccurate vendor contracts (wrong date, wrong price, incorrect details, etc). I found myself constantly repeating emails and repeating my wishes to the Michele Damon team. The night before the rehearsal dinner, 2 days before the wedding, it was my fiancé and I, not Michele, dealing with what could have been a transportation catastrophe. My fiancé and I had to deal w/ this issue up until the morning of the wedding. Other issues that we should have been shielded from, we weren’t. I felt that Michele and her group of girls were extremely inexperienced and “young.” I found that they said “yes” to a lot, but then there was rarely any follow through. To be fair, I'm sure that there were things going on behind the scenes that we were shielded from, and there were a few things that they did that I am grateful for (i.e. dealing w/ a difficult venue contact, helping out one of my girlfriends), but for the majority of my time working with Michele, which was about 10 months, it was more of a headache than anything else.

I had the privilege to work with Michele on a wedding here in Annapolis and she truly made it fabulous.From white birch trees draped in crystals , candles and white flowing flowers, Michele turned a pretty plain church into an enchanting alter made for wedding day dreams.During some waterfront photography there was a dress situation where she had to help with the dress.She went in low and worked on the dress , while the photo shoot went on taking some closer up photos of the couple until she was done.Remarkable team work and attention to detail.If you want a professional that is creative and a leader in the industry , then Michele Damon Events should be your next call.
