Not in a day but sometimes over a long weekend I will do two weddings. I am sure to get lots of rest between them and promise to be on top of my game. Pinky swear.

I have a list of reputable photographers who shoot in a similar style to mine who will be called as stand-ins the day of your wedding should I be physically unable to shoot it. This has never happened and it would be an incredibly rare instance that it would.

I do require a meal break for a help an hour while the couple eats. I appreciate a meal but if you can't swing it I can bring my PB&J.

I charge for travel expenses but my travel packages include more services than my local packages to help equal it out. A girls gotta eat!

I aim for two weeks. When the season gets busy may times it is closer to 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I am pulling all nighters to get them back to you. My contract says no later than 6 weeks for proofs.

Yep I do so I can use them on my web site, in print materials, and submit them to contests. However you get a signed release for you to use them however you please (pretty much). You can use them for personal use including printing images, in albums, in thank you cards, on Facebook, etc. You just can't submit them to contests or make money on them.

Yep! They are going to turn out so nicely I will want to share them with the world! But if a client requests that I don't publish them I will respect their wishes.

You will get all the high resolution images that I edit on a DVD.

How would you describe your style of photography?

I got into photography because I love capturing the moments of people’s life; whether it is one of the most important days of your life (wedding or new baby) or just the details of all the small things that make up your life (birthday’s, holidays, little league, growing old, etc). I am dedicated to working with my clients to capture photos that are visual images of how you remember it.

I do this through immersing myself and my camera into the surroundings taking distinctive photos in a photojournalist manner focusing on spontaneity instead of staged situations; which include candid photos of people and the details that create the atmosphere; documenting the emotion that happens naturally. My photos have vivid colors or crisp black and whites, using a natural and realistic style in post-production editing.


What kind of equipment do you use?

I use high-end Nikon digital cameras. At each shoot I carry multiple camera bodies, a variety of lenses, lighting, and back-up equipment just in case.


Do you provide the digital files?

All of my wedding packages include a DVD of digital files for all the final photos. My portrait packages include three to five digital photos of your choice for free, and additional files are available for purchase a la carte. The files are all high-resolution, and you are welcome to use them to print and share as you please.

I am always happy to travel and enjoy the opportunity. I am available to travel extensively for wedding day coverage in the Front Range and Summit County (Colorado Ski Areas), including: Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Colorado Springs, Steamboat Springs, Crested Butte, Breckenridge, Avon, Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek. I am also happy to travel worldwide to your destination wedding during any season. Travel and/or accommodation expenses may apply; for exact rates please view this map. My passport is always current.


How long until our photos will be made available to us?

Your DVD of High-Resolution digital photos will be available approximately 3-8 weeks after the date the photos were taken. You will be notified via e-mail when your proofs are ready to view online. This will be approximately 2-6 weeks from the date the photos were taken. Many times we are able to get a handful of photos up on Facebook within a week of when they are taken.


How long after the session will I be able to order prints online?

We create personal galleries for clients to view, print, and share their photos. Your image gallery will remain online for at least two years following your shoot with us. In fact, if you purchase ongoing portrait sessions through us, all your photos will be added to the same site. Please let us know if you would like to see a sample gallery.


How many images will I receive from my wedding coverage?

This number will vary a bit based on the length of coverage and the couple’s comfort level in front of a camera as well as the activities and details of your wedding. However, most of our clients receive somewhere between 600 and 900 images. There isn’t a set number that we try to reach as our focus is on getting the best coverage possible, no matter how many shots that might be.


How do we reserve our session date?

Contact us to set up a phone consultation or an in person meeting. I can only hold wedding dates after the receipt of a signed agreement and payment of 50% the package price.

I will reserve a date as "Tentative" for 1 week for any reserving party. If someone else should request that same date within this week the original reserving party will have 24hr hours to confirm or deny the date. After a week has expired the "Tentative" date will be removed from the calendar.

Please remember that I only accept two - three weddings a month, so be sure to book early!
