Michelle was absolutely fantastic!!! Both my husband and I really liked her work, her personality and felt extremely comfortable with her during our big day. She encouraged some poses and took some very artistic shots but wasn't overly obtrusive. Her detail shots of the lace of my dress, my beautiful Stuart Weitzman shoes and the rings rocked!
Michelle captured some great action shots during our first dance as well as the open dancing that followed. I think the best thing is that we looked very natural but glamorous as well...the best combo for your wedding day! Plus afterwards she did minor editing on my neck creases and the lovely armpit/back chub that can occur with a strapless dress in certain postures. And the best for last--her prices were so amazing, compared to everyone else I researched she was the best price for a true artist. We were thrilled with the experience overall :)

Thank you for considering me for your wedding photography needs. I began my photography career 15 years ago shooting strictly fine art images. I moved slowly into portraiture and weddings, focusing on the more artistic images using medium and large
format cameras.
Today I shoot primarily in digital, which provides me with the freedom and speed to capture all the detail and emotion of your wedding day. I shoot in a photojournalistic style, which means that I act as an observer as the day unfolds around me. My photos are rarely scripted or directed, with the exception of the formal shots, so you can be sure to see true emotion in all your images. I have a fun, funky, youthful approach that will truly capture the details and special touches of your day. My inspirations are DIY details, bright colors, moody portraits, laughing kids and good music.

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Is your media preference film or digital?
I shoot 100% digital, although I do offer an option of a vintage 4x5 portrait.
How many photographers do you work with?
On the day of the wedding I will have an assistant or one of three second photographers. The photographers I use are all professionals in their own right, I never use a "junior" photographer without a "senior" backing them up. I trust each one of them and feel that our styles are very complimentary.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Barring a unexpected illness or accident I will be your guaranteed main photographer for the day.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I never book a second wedding on a day, occasionally I will book two smaller weddings on a weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
If there is an unexpected illness or accident my second photographer will be available to slide into the main position with another second backing them up. I still remain in charge of all the editing and post production, so all your images will have my distinct look and feel.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I have a fully system of lenses and flashes to accommodate nearly every situation. I always check out the venue, weather and sunset times ahead of time to see if there is something out of the ordinary I need to provide.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Of course! I have a second equal camera body and plenty of lenses to cover any situation. You can never be 100% prepared, but I do my best to make sure I've covered what I can!
Do you charge hourly or full day?
My packages are based on a set time, but additional hours can be purchased ahead of time or on the day.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, my hourly rate is $150/hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I time my breaks for lulls in the action. While people are eating, during cocktail hour, during the dancing... these are times when I catch a moment and refuel.
Do you charge for travel?
I don't charge for travel within Northern California. I am more than willing to travel to father destinations and my travel rate is quite reasonable!
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within two days of your ceremony you will have a handful of images ready to sneak peek and share with friends and family. Within three weeks of the wedding your first "e-proofs" will be ready to view.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Your initial proofs are via a private online gallery. If included in your package, your paper proofs will arrive in a few weeks.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proof prints are yours to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. All images have the copyright in my name, If you have the digital images you will receive a printing release that allows you to print any image for personal use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, and with the couple's permission. I LOVE submitting beautiful weddings to bridal magazines, style blogs and print competitions.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Many of my packages include digital prints and they can always be purchased separately.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I have a wide selection of traditional and modern album styles.
When will the client get the final album?
After you select the images to go into the album the design process takes anywhere from 3-5 weeks.
