About Mike Purdy Photography
Mike started his photography career in 1998 when he worked as a stock photography agent representing some of biggest names in photography. He worked for the prestigious "Stock Market Photo Agency" out of the Beverly Hills office
and would represent photographers to ad agencies, art directors, and creative directors with the intention of negotiating the rights to use the images in various ad campaigns and design projects.
He fell in love with photography and developed a keen eye as he witnessed which images drew in the largest invoices and with that experience started developing his own style.
His approach to photography leans towards high fashion, photojournalistic concepts rather than traditional posing. His company services all of Los Angeles and surrounding counties and also specializes in destination weddings around the
globe.
Mike also holds memberships with the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International, (WPPI), and the Professional Photographers of America, (PPA)
