Our DJ did a great job. The dance floor was always full of guests dancing. We especialy appreciated our DJ for his style which was fun and lively - not the cheesy crap you often see. They made our night a real party.

We had an excellent experience with Mike Staff Productions. The DJ we hired through this company kept the dance floor packed all evening! It was NEVER empty! He played all of the songs we requested. The service was flawless, we wouldn't have changed a thing, he was perfect!

Matt did an awesome job. He played a variety of music, kept me on schedule all night and was very sweet. He even made a mix of songs for our bridal party to enter the reception to (which I know took extra time, but he did it without complaints).

DJ Paul Buck was awesome and really made everything go smoothly! He customized my wedding music for me and really made everything worry free. I will recommend him to everyone I know that is engaged!

Steve Miller at Mike Staff productions was the best DJ I've ever heard – and I'm not just saying that because he was at our wedding! He knows every type of song you could ever imagine – and our guests loved that he sang along to every song (even though we couldn't hear it!) because he was just doing his thing and having fun!

All DJ's are HIGHLY professional, easy to talk to and open to your suggestions. Not your typical cheesy DJ. Will use again and again for my other events.

Mike Staff Productions was excellent. Our dj, Kurt Cologne, was phenomenal... very professional, extremely responsive, and all about making our reception memorable. He was able to find a couple obscure songs that I requested at the last minute (the night before). He had an excellent presence while not intrusive. He made all the announcements at the right time (typical ones such as cutting the cake... but also announcing when our martini bar and dessert room were open... and later when our Coney Cart was serving!). Even more impressive was that we ran into him at a bar approximately eight months after our wedding, and he immediately came over to say "hi"--by name! He remembered both my husband and me and how much fun our wedding was. Highly recommended.

Both our Photographer and DJ were very flexible with our schedule. There were a couple times where we had to change something on the fly and it never phased either of them. They were always ready to go!Both were also very personable and made us all feel very comfortable even as they remained extremely professional. You could tell that they were very experienced and loved doing their jobs. They were both very good about calling to set everything up and making sure that all of the right questions were asked. They let us know what it was that they normally did but they were very flexible and willing to do pretty much what ever it was that we wanted or had in mind. We really didn't change anything from what their usual routine is, they have it all down to an art and it all comes together beautifully!I would definitely recommend them!

We had Steve Miller for our wedding and he was absolutely amazing! Everyone was dancing all night long and I had several guests come up to me and say that they had never seen the dance floor that crowded and haven't had that much fun dancing to music at a wedding before. He was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better Dj!

Randy Parker is the best DJ in the world! If you can book him for your event you will be so happy! He made our wedding such a great party! Everyone loved him and never left the dance floor!

I have to say that Jason with Mike Staff Productions just went above and beyond for me. I had NO pictures of my processional from a strait on angle (none of which had anything to do with MIke Staff) and after reaching out to them since they were my Videographer Jason searched my video and turned moving shots into still shots!Now I have a memory of every person in my wedding including a shot of my Father walking me down the aisle. Words cannot express how amazing you guys really are.

DJ Eric was AWESOME!! He had the dance floor packed all night long!! We even got compliments from the hall saying how good he was!!

I loved my photographer Jim VanLuven from Mike Staff Productions! He came up with so many great places for us to do our pictures and after seeing our previews I cannot wait to get the rest of my pictures!

Mike Staff does a GREAT job! The DJ kept my guests dancing all night. My photographer did a wonderful job taking pictures and dealing with my crazy family and friends. The videographer got great footage as well. I am very satisfied with their service and would recommend them to anyone.

Well worth every penny!We had Bob as our DJ. He was nothing but fantastic and professional. The called me the monday before the wedding to confirm all details, and get the names of my wedding party. The entire evening the music was great and there was not one thing I was dissapointed with.I Highly recommend the company, you will not be dissapointed!

Steve Miller was our DJ and he was by far the best DJ we have ever heard at any wedding. He kept the dance floor busy the whole night. It was never empty. He called me the week of the wedding to get all of the details and all of the songs I wanted to be played and any other special considerations to be made and nothing was never forgotten. Excellent service. Professional from the start. We had Randy for our wedding and he was AMAZING!! Could not have asked for a better DJ. On time, and made sure everyone stayed on the dance floor. People are still talking about how much fun they had and how good the music was. Definitely recommend this vendor to anybody who wants people to dance and have an excellent time- try to get Randy!!!

Steve from Mike Staff Productions was our DJ and he was great! We gave him very specific requests about songs that we wanted to hear during dinner as well as during dancing. We also were particular about how we wanted to be introduced, since I wasn't changing my name. He did everything perfectly. He also took people's requests and just had a really kind and relaxed demeanor that was great!

I hired Mike Staff Productions to do my wedding. My DJ's name was Lee Walsh. Both Lee and Mike Staff Productions were outstanding. My main concern was getting a DJ who was cheesy and how didn't know how to keep people on the dance floor. I had no reason for any concern with Lee. He was totally professional, respectful, and polite to all my guests and I did not even know he was there during my reception with the exception that we had non-stop fantastic music. He worked with me to create a music to play and not to play list, and also used his own initiate - within the parameters I gave him - to play additional music at my reception. Everyone had a blast and the music could not have been better. Basically, Lee did everything I wanted and exceeded my expectations. I danced almost the whole reception, as did most of my guests. I would give Lee Walsh and Mike Staff Productions my highest recommendation without any reservation. Go for them, they are terrific.

Mike Staff is the most professional wedding vendor in the Metro Detroit area. Andrew Neer was our DJ and he was awesome! Very attentive to your needs. The employees at Mike Staff really are experts in their industry. I would recommend their services to anyone.

I loved they offered me a sample of the available DJ's during our "interview" of their company. They even showed me other DJ's that weren't available but were popular since we were curious how the available DJ's added up to the popular ones. I love the choose we made (unfortunately, I can't remember his name). He made one slight error and forgot the best man speech, but quickly corrected it... but how can I blame him with the crazy schedule of events and the surprise bday party in the middle of the reception??? The company was great to work with and I love they gave us 2 CD's of our wedding music so we could have it for years to come.

Mike Staff is the greatest DJ company ever! They are very affordable and have great options for you. Our DJ was Dave Lavasor and he was GREAT! He kept things moving right a long and made sure the type of music we wanted played was played. They are a very orgainized, professional and have great service to their customers. I would recommened them to anyone!

I asked for a lot of recommendations before choosing a DJ... I wanted to make sure that my reception would be FUN and that people would be dancing! I've been to way too many weddings where it is a chore to get people on the dancefloor, or where as a bridesmaid, I've been told it's my "job" to make sure the dancefloor is never empty. That was never a concern at my reception! I hired Anne Carlini from Mike Staff Productions, and she did a FANTASTIC job! She was professional, classy, respectful, responsive, and read the crowd perfectly! She knew just what to play to get people dancing and keep people dancing! The dancefloor was crowded through the last song of the night!!! Plus, she did a wonderful job as emcee-- pronounced all names correctly, kept the evening on schedule, and really helped with transitions. She checked in with me (the bride) throughout the night and played my requests IMMEDIATELY! Plus she and her assistant were just really pleasant and fun! They were there early with everything set up and ready to go well before any guests arrived, and continued a great job from there! I give them my highest recommendation!I was also very pleased with my decision to hire Doug from Mike Staff as our videographer! He was really pleasant and a lot of fun. He set us at ease, and seemed to be everywhere during the day-- documenting everything! Initially, I wasn't going to get a videographer, but I am SO GLAD that we did. The whole day is such a blur! And I didn't think about the fact that there are so many things that I wasn't able to see-- all the pre-ceremony music that we selected so carefully, the moms lighting the unity candle, the bridal party processing in... I was hidden in back of the church during all that! Same for the cocktail hour-- I never made it there! We are really excited to get the video to see all the fun that everyone was having and to relive the happiest day of our lives! Plus, the team at Mike Staff has everything figured out. They let you have as much or as little input as you want! Doug even stayed a few extra minutes to get some special footage, and said he was happy to do it! I highly recommend!

Mike Staff Productions were great. They were so organized through the whole process. My DJs Chuck and Deb Philips were awesome! They kept everyone dancing all night long and played all our requests!! My photographer, Sabrina Garvin, was just perfect. She brought an incredible energy with her ALL Day long. I love all my images.I can't wait to see my wedding video. If it is anything like the other ones I see, my family will br blown out of the water!!

We used Mike Staff for our ceremony, cocktail, and reception music. Our DJ did a great job for each part of the wedding! He played all of the right songs for our dances and made sure to stick to our do not play list. He even made sure to pronounce everybody's names correctly. He was very professional and kept the night moving. We definitely recommend Mike Staff and couldn't be happier with our experience!

Our DJ Jon Ray was awesome. He kept the dance floor full all night and played music that everyone from my 15 year old cousin to my 80 year old grandma enjoyed. He even pronounced the last names of our wedding party perfectly (and they weren't easy) He was classy, fun, and got along great with our guests. We couldn't have been more pleased.

This is the most responsive, organized vendor I have had the pleasure of dealing with. I loved my DJ. Mike Staff is true to there word. When they ask you what songs you want to hear, they actually play them, all of them! I was on the dance floor the entire night. Bob was the best. One fault, he played the wrong version of the song I walked down the aisle too. No biggie, everyone loved it and was so moved. HIRE THIS COMPANY!

So worth the money. Our DJ, Joe, was awesome. He went over EVERY last detail with us in respect to announcements and music.... and was willing to do EVERYTHING we asked, even some things out of the norm. Our guests had a hard time finding a song or two just to sit down and take a break from dancing. The dance floor was always packed. What a great night!

Our DJ was Erik Hodge and he was fantastic! He was not one of those cheesy DJ's that talk alot or dance or anything like that. He got everyone on the dance floor (even grandparents and older guests), played everything we wanted (and avoided what we hated), and just did an awesome job. He was so friendly and professional. Loved him!

We cannot say enough about Mike Staff Productions! Our wedding day would have not been the same without them! They were amazing! Everything was perfect and professional. The music was amazing! To the brides and grooms: Please remember that the DJ and photographers are working their butts off for you, its not that much more to buy them the dinner that you are having! They appreciate it, and it works for you in the end! I would not go without Mike Staff Productions at any other even that we have, we will use them again in the future!!! They are the best and well worth the price!

Kurt was our wedding DJ and he was fantastic! We gave him very little direction and he was able to pick the right music for the right moment. The dance floor was packed all night - even after the bar was closed for an hour!

Our DJ - Josh Baker - was great! He was very attentive and played every song we requested. We asked for two songs that were done live by the goo goo dolls. He was able to get one song from us, but told us he couldn't find one. To my surprise the very last song of the night was the one he said he said he might not be able to find! I was so happy to hear the live Goo Goo Dolls version of American Girl! Josh not only fulfilled all of our requests but he kept the dance floor full the entire night. I've never seen so many people dancing at a wedding! I would not only recommend Mike Staff Productions, but Josh Baker is their best in my opinion!

We had Mike Staff for both Videography and as our DJ. We were very happy with both services. Our video was awesome! We can't stop watching it. Our DJ was very professional and played great songs. We got many compliments on him all night! I would recommend both services to anyone!

He was our master of ceremony at the reception, and kept the party moving from one event to the next. Mike staff productions did a great job! When I went for my first meeting I got to watch videos of all the DJ's and picked the one I wanted. I went with Tom and I do not regret one minute of it. He was amazing and I had so many compliments about how good he was! They are worth the extra money!!

When they say Mike Staff is the best DJ - they mean it! The company was very professional and allowed us to interview different DJ's to pick the best one for us. We were extremely happy with who we chose and got lots of great feedback from our guests (still to this day!) about how much they liked the DJ and his professionalism, choices of music etc.

We had Kerry from Mike Staff DJ our wedding and he was great. We really liked him and his professionalism. He was responsive to our needs and what we wanted. He kept our guest out on the floor dancing til the last song played. I couldnt have asked for anything better.

Steve Miller of Mike Staff productions is a one of a kind, amazing, fun, fantastic, motivating, blow your mind kind of DJ. I was so impressed by him that there isn’t anyone that I wouldn’t recommend him to. We were able to speak with him well before and email him with any questions. I am sure I wasn’t the only bride he was working with, but he completely made me feel that way. I had told him that dancing was my main priority and our dance floor was jammed from the first to the very last song. He didn’t miss one detail that we discussed or didn’t mispronounce one name! We had a great wedding and Steve made it perfect! We were blessed because our vendors and venue across the board were amazing, Steve was the backbone and tied everything together to make the night completely perfect! Happy New Year Steve and thanks for making mine the best New Years Eve wedding EVER!!! Mark Sanders and Steve Brushinski were our videographers from Mike Staff Productions. They too were amazing. We had so much fun with them. They were there on time and didn’t mind staying until 1a.m. to capture our New Years Eve wedding and all the special moments in-between. I suffer from migraine headaches brought on usually from bright lights. They were so kind to work around that and make sure that I never had a light glaring in my face! Thanks guys for doing such a great job, I am so looking forward to seeing everything I missed. As all brides know, it was over before you could even blink!

The DJ was great. I didn't have to worry about anything at the reception. He played great music, kept everyone dancing the whole time, everything was announced properly and at the right times. My only worry was that I couldn't speak to the DJ until the Monday before the wedding. I wanted to have everything decided and taken care of 2 weeks before. They were very strict on that.

You may not realize it but your DJ selection is one of the most important choices you'll make for your wedding. Your venue of course, is important, as is the caterer, and later on, I'm sure the videographer and photographer are super important, but on that special day, for your guests, the DJ can make or break the success of your celebration experience. Sure the flowers are nice as are the linens and it's always nice to have a good tasty cake but the music and the music maker are responsible for getting your guests up and having a great time.We went with Mike Staff because of it's reputation and we allowed them to choose a DJ that they felt would compliment our style the best. They made the right choice with Josh Baker. He was professional, responsible, presentable, intelligent and just perfect for our wedding. From song choices to introductions, to keeping the party going, he was perfect. He has to be the least cheesy DJ I've ever encountered. That was our fear about hiring a DJ and we were so pleased with Josh and his work. He allowed the bride and groom to choose songs and then was able to determine what type of music would be best suited for their type of wedding and used his own good judgement to perfection to choose songs for the rest of the evening. He knows his music and was a wonderful MC. Most importantly, he kept the party going and when our time ended he kept the party "spirit" going in our guests, who did not want to leave. Mike Staff was just wonderful! We had looked around at some other venders and where very disappointed in what they offered and there price. Mike Staff gave us just what we wanted, and our DJ listened to what we wanted to hear and didn't play anything we didn't. The DJ dressed appropriately, and kept the night moving. One thing that really impressed me was that he was so good at what he did not one song wasn't danced to.

Great DJ, kept everyone drinking and dancing! Great music, great fun!

We had DJ Jimmy and he was awesome.. he kept the party going and most guests stayed until the lights came on dancing away! We had a great time and I would recommend DJ Jimmy for any of your next events! Well worth the price!

The only thing I can say about Mike Staff Productions is that they were the best vendor we had at our wedding and our DJ was the greatest. Unfortunately I did not keep the DJ's info, I believe his name was Kurt but I am not positive. But this was the best money spent on the entire wedding and was very well worth it.

Matt Candela from Mike Staff was amazing!!!!!!!! My husband and I met Matt about a year ago after we had chosen him at a christmas function and when he called to go over the details of our wedding he remembered us. Out of all the events he does, that says alot to remember a person.Just from our conversation he knew the vibe we were going for. Some of our request he had to work up until the morning of the wedding to find and he even went out to Best Buy the morning of to get my bridal party song. My venue couldn't do the napkin folds I wanted and since he arrived early Matt helped to fold napkins!!! Way above and beyond. My reception didn't end until the lights came on and Matt played 'Last Dance'. I can't say enough about this DJ and this company except, BOOK THEM!!!!!

WE were blown away and very impressed after meeting with Kurt at the office and booked immediately! :o) We picked Steve Miller as our DJ and couldn't have been happier! He was so nice and personal, and really took some time to get to know us, our tastes, our family & traditions...and everything that would make our wedding day perfect! We had fun talking about music together and he had great suggestions as well as listened to my ideas. He even gave me his cell # to contact him during the wedding week with any questions or concerns! He performed our ceremony and reception music and was awesome! He had been to our venue before so was very familiar with the set-up and flow...I really felt good about letting Steve control the pace of the evening :o) Hands down an AWESOME DJ and an AWESOME wedding!WE also chose Jason's team of videographers to tape the events of the day and I was so impressed! It was like having additional photographers capturing all the special moments. They are very non-intrusive and are so articulate and creative with the shots they get. They took our suggestions for music choices and moments to capture and did an amazing job putting it together in one beautiful video. I know some people may think it's a lot of extra money to add to the budget...but they are capturing things that a photographer can't! After the whirlwind of my wedding day, it was the video that helped me relive the special day since it went by WAY too fast! My husband and I look forward to watching it every year on our anniversary :o) My friends are jealous that we have such a cool video and wish they would have done the same! :o) Hands down a MUST HAVE for your wedding!

If you book through Mike Staff I highly recommend Andy. He contacted us when he said he would, arrived early to the reception site to set up and stayed late because our guests were having such a great time. They even provided us with a CD of our special dance songs much to our surprise!

Our DJ was Josh Baker at Mike Staff productions. He was phenominal. This was the only DJ company we met with and we were "sold" right away! He did our ceremony music and did a great job with that too. I could not have asked for a better DJ:)

My DJ was one of the BEST things about my wedding!!! Let me tell you, I had people dancing all night long! Our DJ from Mike Staff Production, Rob was great!! There was never a minute that we didn't have people on the dnace floor all night. Rob called us the week before the wedding and we selected all the music from the ceremony to the last song played. He really did a great job keeping everyone and everything on time that evening. Everything flowed seamlessly from the toast to the first dance, etc. I would highly recommended them!!

I could not say enough about how great our DJ was. Kurt did such an amazing job DJ our reception. It was so professional and so helpful with every aspect of the reception. I have never seen the dance floor at the wedding full the whole night for every song. With the huge mix of ages, he still kept everyone going thru each song. Music selection was wonderful and we never had to give him assistance which was nice. He knew what to play and when. He was extremely professional and perfect at introductions, etc. Great DJ!We also used Mike Staff for our video. These guys were great too! They were with us all day and the best part was they were not intrusive. They did what they needed and captured every moment perfectly. They even stayed later then expected to help us catch the great dancing we had at our reception. I never felt like I was being followed by a camera, never had a bright light in my face. Mike Dembs was an amazing DJ who went with the flow of our evening. He did an amazing job and we couldn't have wished for anyone better!!

I booked Mike Staff for my DJ and videography. DJ: My husband and I chose Mac Kelly for our DJ and he was absolutely amazing. People were on the dance floor all night long. This was important to me to have people dance because I have been to some weddings where no one dances. Videography: I would recommend getting a video of your wedding because it brings your wedding day to life. I really didn’t want a video because I had a photographer but my husband really wanted one so we decided to get it and I will never regret that decision. Mike Staff was very professional with everything. We received the video about a month after our wedding day. Mike Staff also puts a part of your video on Youtube.com for your guests to view which is nice for people to see. I love our wedding video and would recommend Mike Staff to anyone getting married.

Mike Staff Productions did a wonderful job at our wedding. Our DJ was enthusiastic, energetic, and was very consciencious about pronouncing everone's names correctly, etc. He did a great job reading the crowd and playing the music that would get everyone on the dance floor.

Kurt Colone did a fantastic job. He read the crowd very well and also played the music we requested. Guests have been telling us for weeks now how much fun they had because of the music!

I can't say enough good things about this company! We used them for our video service, and we were far more than impressed! For the price we paid, you would have thought we had paid at least double for the end product. All the employees were very professional and timely in providing information. The associate in charge of our wedding created a video that was exactly our style. She did a great job working with people to get them to do interviews and was very understanding when I had asked to have my words to my husband retaped. Mike Staff Productions was the best choice ever. I planned my wedding from Arizona for Detroit and was really worried about my venders. MSP made the process a piece of cake. I talked to them several times and they made me feel very comfortable with their service. I used them for my DJ,(Kevin) and he was terrific. Worked our football theme like magic. They also did our videography and we got so much good footage it was increadable. 6 dvds with the enitre day on it. What more could I ask for. I got a great discount because I used both their services and was very happy. Also how many other companies have a written money back guarentee? They do but you wont need it.

Josh baker was awesome at our wedding. He was so professional but also so fun! Definitely recommend booking with them. They show you videos of some of their dis that are available on your date & you get to choose the one that you want which is great because it gives you an idea of what to expect.

We hired Kevin Joynt for our wedding in August of 2011. He is very professional, young and energetic. He kept our crowd on the dance floor and played all of my requested songs. We met with him the Monday before the wedding to ensure we were all on the same page. He showed up early to setup and did a great job all night!

Joe Luellen was our DJ from Mike Staff. He did an awesome job keeping the dance floor filled all night. He was professional, contacting us before the wedding to be sure he had everything set and ready (down to the pronunciation of our special guests names). All in all, great to work with!!

I would tell anyone to go with this company. Everyone said my DJ was great (MAC) and the music was so fun. He didn't play any of the songs on my "do not play" list and my friends and family were dancing all night. Mac was very professional while keeping the party going all night! Also i checked out many DJs in my area and for the price I don't think you can do any better than this company.

I loved my DJ. Mike Staff is true to there word. When they ask you what songs you want to hear, they actually play them, all of them! I was on the dance floor the entire night. Bob was the best. One fault, he played the wrong version of the song I walked down the aisle too. No biggie, everyone loved it and was so moved. HIRE THIS COMPANY! He went over EVERY last detail with us in respect to announcements and music.... and was willing to do EVERYTHING we asked, even some things out of the norm. Our guests had a hard time finding a song or two just to sit down and take a break from dancing. The dance floor was always packed. What a great night!

Mike Staff Productions did a beautiful job for my wedding. I hired DJ Dave Copeland and he did a great job keeping the party going. He did a wonderful job blending today's and yesterday's hits throughout the night so that everyone could play a part in the celebration and enjoy the music. He helped us choose some of the songs for the reception and it was great! I couldn't have asked for a better or more helpful DJ.

We hired Mike Staff Productions, but more specifically Mike D. to be our DJ. We liked the format that Mike S. had in helping to choose a DJ. They show you videos of everyone that is available on your day so you can see them preform the service you are hiring for. It made our choice clear and easy to determine Mike D. was our music man! He was very professional, courteous and personable. On our phone conversation with him, he made sure he was pronouncing everyone's names correctly and had great suggestions on songs when we got stumped. When he showed up, he was dressed in a tuxedo and once the main events at the reception were completed, he focused on keeping the dance floor full. He played a great selection of music and incorporated oldies and new stuff. He was very aware of "killer" music and strayed away from that. He kept the party going and everyone liked his music decisions. Would definitely hire Mike D. from Mike Staff Productions again.

Our Mike Staff DJ, Rob, did an amazing job at the reception. He kept events flowing and the dance floor packed all night! It was such a nice surprise at the end of the night when he gave us a CD of all of our wedding songs. Super professional and made the night care free for me!

I loved them, my husband didn’t. I loved the planning process. They were very easy to get a hold of to plan everything, I think the issues came when our DJ that we actually hired did not play the correct songs my husband gave him..it was my husband’s job to figure out the music crap. I thought he did a good job and was very familiar with our very “unique” reception venue.
