Mike and JoJo did a great job in helping us celebrate our wedding. From the planning stage through the ceremony and reception Mike was there to make everything perfect. The lighting was fantastic. The song selection kept our guests on the dance floor and the props made for some interesting pictures. Mike worked to assure our event went smoothly. Offering suggestions and guiding us through the entire reception. Again great job guys!

DJ Mike was the perfect choice for our wedding. Picking a DJ was the one choice I was afraid of during the wedding process, mostly because no one would call me back. After waiting 2 weeks for a DJ recommendation from a friend to return my phone call, I had come across DJ Mike Walsh's website.
Mike called back the very next day and was very easy to talk to about any questions or concerns even over the phone I was sure he was a perfect for our big day. After the first meeting my husband completely agreed, and it was all smooth sailing from then on. Everything came out beautiful, the custom BOGO, the lighting, Mike and JoJo did an amazing job.
I would absolutely, and did recommend them to my friends and they just got married this past weekend. DJ Mike & JoJo did not disappoint, we all had a great time! You guys are awesome!

Mike- Thank you so much for making our wedding reception truly amazing! The lighting was beautiful and added so much color and elegance to our venue. And the music was perfect! I thought DJ Mike was an amazing DJ!!! He listened to all of our requests, and answered all of the questions we had before our reception. He played an awesome mix of music, and all of our guests said how great the music was.
DJ Mike Walsh was amazing!! He was very helpful and prompt with any questions that I had regarding his services and he was really flexible. His number one priority was making our ceremony and reception exactly what we wanted and he couldn't have done better. Not only did Mike provide excellent DJ services, he also took control of keeping my reception structured and on time so I didn't have to stress. I actually got to sit and really enjoy my special day! My guests had an amazing time, especially with the silly props that he provided for our reception. I would most definently use Mike again and would recommend him to anyone !!! We had an amazing time working with Mike. He was fantastic at finding us songs that were not available on his selection list. He came out to meet with us with ample time to make any changes before the date. He went over every little detail about the services he was providing to us including making sure to check all guest requests before playing them, just incase it was something that we were not interested in having played. I would recomend his services to anyone looking for an affordable DJ with amazing service. We're still trying to find an excuse to throw another party just so we can use him again.

We used Mike for our wedding reception and I couldn't have been happier with the way things panned out. All other vendors I contacted made it seem like such a cold business transaction and gave a cookie-cutter response on my inquiry but Mike was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable every step of the way. He really gave a personal feel to the whole process and that goes a long way with something as important as the presentation and music selection for a wedding.
His website was very intuitive and his song database is quite extensive. The meeting a few weeks before the reception really helped to iron out all the details and was actually pretty quick. I walked away knowing that everything was taken care of.
The amazing uplighting and professionalism he provided during the reception was one of my personal highlights of the nite. The table of "party hats" also kept the handful of kids we had there entertained (as well as some of the adult "kids"). The music selection was upbeat and never stale and he had no problems with friends and family coming up to make requests (even a few polka songs!).
DJ Mike Walsh was a diamond in the rough amongst all the same "production companies" that try to make you feel like another transaction. I would highly recommend him for any event and thank him for making our nite truly worry-free and a lot of fun!
Michael was our DJ for both the ceremony and reception and he was outstanding from beginning to end! Prior to the wedding day Michael met with us to go over our song selections, lighting, the timeline of reception events and of course answer all of our questions. He also came to our rehearsal which was great because everyone including Michael was able to run through and get an idea of how the ceremony would go. On our wedding day Michael did a wonderful job making sure everything ran smoothly! He kept the reception moving and guided my husband and me through everything (cake, dances, garter/bouquet). We didn't have to worry about a thing from start to finish!
My bride and I choose Mike because he came highly recommended from a friend when we began shopping for dj's. He did not disappoint. His method was simple and effective, tell him what you want, tell him what you don't. His website was easy to navigate and even had a constantly updated top 200 hits. During the consult he walked us through every part of the wedding and reception down to the finest detail. We left time during the reception for our guests to make requests, and based on all the music we picked (which was a wide variety of music) he filled in the gaps flawlessly. He even had a prop table for our guests to play with while they danced. If I ever need a dj again or a reference i would highly recommend him, thanks again Mike for making our special night so special

On 10/10/10, Mike was the dj for my wedding. He did a FANTASTIC job! To begin with, Mike totally saved us and agreed to do our wedding reception and ceremony in about a week and a half notice! We had a dj drop us about 2 weeks before our wedding, even though we had them booked for about a year. Mike was not only agreeable, but sat down with us immediately to go over details we hadn't even thought about. He made everything for us EXTREMELY easy! He is very personable and easy going. He pays attention to details and will give you whatever you ask for. We picked out a lot of music, and Mike made sure he had everything that we needed! He was very easy to get a hold of and triple checked everything for us to be sure everything was just right! We were more than fortunate to have the other dj flake on us so that we could get Mike! It was a God send! I will DEFINITELY refer Mike to my friend and family for their next event because he was so good at what he did and was so affordable:)

As your DJ and MC, we will study your plans and make your event a success! From the moment your first guest arrives, until the last song has played, we want you to have the event you always dreamed of. We understand that we are not for everybody. Rather than putting the focus on the DJ, we believe the focus should be on you and your event. Every Disc Jockey has a style of their own, we are no different. We prefer to take a simple, more reserved and formal approach to entertaining. What we don’t do is anything that your guests will find cheesy or embarrassing. We are not what we call “hyper interactive djs”. You will not hear us on the mic the whole night attempting to “motivate”. We can’t take people by the hand and pull them onto the dance floor. Booking: Our booking process is simple! Once you’re ready to book just give us a call! We will gather some information about your event and get the contract, or agreement for services, out in the mail. Once you receive the contract simple sign one copy and return it with the required $100.00 non-refundable reservation fee. Once we receive your signed contract and reservation fee, or deposit, we will send you an email confirming your date along with instructions to login and start planning your event!
Q: How much do you charge?
A: It varies by event. We do however try to keep our prices much lower than area competitors. We do this by limiting our advertising, relying on referrals, and most importantly keeping things simple.
Q: Do you setup a sign or banner with your equipment?
A: No. I do however carry business cards and brochures with me. If one of your guests should ask me for one, I will give them one.
Q: Do you have a light show?
A: Yes! Dance floor lighting and uplighting behind the head table is included with all wedding reception packages.
Q: Do you have a wireless microphone?
A: Any professional DJ in this day and age really has no excuse for not having wireless microphones available for their clients use. We carry two wireless microphones with us to every event.
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: We use professional grade sound & lighting equipment from leading manufacturers. We would be happy to provide a full list upon request.
Q: Do you take or require breaks?
A: Although we may take a short restroom break there is no break in the music. Any time I may need to take away from my equipment is generally very short and usually no more than 5-15 minutes at most.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we do maintain liability insurance in order to protect ourselves and our equipment should something unfortunate happens in the performance of our services. Any professional DJ service should carry such insurance not only to cover themselves, but, also it serves to protect your venue. A copy of our insurance is available to any client or venue that would request proof of insurance.
Q: Do you require a meal?
A: No, we do not. But we thank you for thinking of us!
Q: How much would you charge for overtime?
A: Over time is charged at $75.00 per hour in half hour increments at the top of each additional half hour. Before adding time to the end of your event be sure to check with the venue as they may have a charge for overtime or may not permit it at all.
Q: How much do you charge to book our event?
A: We charge a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 to secure your event date. This Booking Fee is applied to the final event total with the balance being due the day off your event.
Q: What will you wear to our event?
A: My attire depends on how formal your event is. Typically for weddings I will be in a tux, and any assistants will be in shirt & tie. For less formal events I will wear a company logo polo shirt.
Q: When will you arrive to setup for our event?
A: Typcially I would arrive approximately 2-3 hours prior to the expected arrival of your guests.
Q: Do you take requests from our guests?

A: All planning forms and music requests are due the day we meet to finalize your plans.
Q: How involved can we be in selecting the music to be played?
A: As involved as you want to be! You can choose them all if you would like, or just a few, its completely up to you!
Q: How do you keep your music selection up-to-date?
A: I subscribe to several promotional services such as ERG & Promo Only. Each of these services provides radio friendly music to Professional DJ’s and radio stations. This music comes to us sometimes before it starts playing on the radio which means we get what might be hits and what will be hits before they are hits. Our library is updated weekly through these services.
Q: May I speak with any of your references?
A: Absolutely! This is a great way for you to get an idea from an un-biased source how easy it is to work with us. I would be more than happy to provide you a list of 4-5 past clients upon request.
Q: Can we visit you at a performance?
A: A private event is just that, private. I don’t feel it’s appropriate to invite outside guests into what may be a very personal and private event. I’m equally sure that if it were your event that you’d appreciate your privacy just as much.
Q: Will we meet again before the event?
A: Yes! One meeting is mandatory for all wedding receptions. Usually about 2-3 weeks prior to your event.
Q: What happens if something happens and you can’t make it to my event?
A: I would love to tell you that no matter what, someone will be there to perform at your wedding and given ample time to arrange a replacement that is exactly what will happen. There are situations that can occur instantaneously and without any way to predict. An automobile accident on the way to the event can happen and there is no way to plan for it. If for some reason something that is completely out of my control, “an act of God” if you will, then appropriate action will be taken to reschedule if possible or other resolutions will be found.
Q: What do you do to motivate a crowd that isn’t dancing?
A: We get asked this question from time to time, and it's not an easy one to answer. Mainly because there are several factors that influence a dance floor. Our answer: we switch up the music. With over 10 years of experience, we have a very good idea of what works and what doesn't, and we can usually find the right songs to get people on the floor. But sometimes even great music isn't enough. Other factors may be working against us, factors beyond our or anybody’s control. CLICK HERE to learn more about how we will perform at your event!
Q: Do you act as “Emcee” and make all of the announcements?
A: Yes, not only will we make all of the announcements, letting your guests know what is happening, we also will work with your other vendors on-site to let them know ahead of time what is planned and when it will occur. We do all this to ensure that none of your guests or other vendors miss any important moments and capture those precious memories.
Q: Do you perform more than one event in a day?
A: Nope. Most of the time we only book one event per weekend! This allows us to focus on you & your event rather than planning out someone elses.
Q: How many weddings to your perform at per year?
A: The total number of weddings will vary from year to year as we do more than just weddings. On average I perform at approximately 15-20 or more per year.
Q: How long will you hold my date?
A: While dates are a first come, first serve I will hold your date for a reasonable amount of time in order to schedule a meeting or to give you a chance to discuss things with another party if needed. This time is not unlimited and your date does remain available to new inquiries, but is held away from being bookable.
Q: Will you be the DJ at my event?
A: Yes, as I am a single operator I am not only the owner of the company. I also have an assistant at most events.
Q: Are you “cheesy”?
A: Nope! We try to keep it classy at your wedding reception. You will not hear any jokes over the microphone, no dancing instructional, no games, and no rambling on the microphone o “motivate”.
