Mill Cottage Photography

After our wedding it was such a treat to see Kim's beautiful pictures! Only after looking at some of our friend's photos did we realize that Kim was right in the action - on a step ladder capturing moments from the first dance, down the aisle during the ceremony ... somehow we were completely unawares of any of that! The end result was a wonderful story, beautifully told through stunning pictures of the most wonderful day of our lives yet! :)

Kim was not only our wedding photographer, she was a person who really got to know us and who took it very seriously to capture who we are as a couple and as individuals--and to show all of that through her photographs. We love her so much we are hiring her to photograph me during my pregnancy and then to take newborn photos of our little one once she arrives. She is beyond talented and ridiculously lovely and kind. You could not have found a better photographer or person to include in whatever special event/moment of your life you are looking to capture.

Choosing a photographer was one of my hardest decisions. There are so many excellent photographers from which to choose! I figured if my stress is from choosing between several great photographers, I'm doing all right. Kim Sayre was actually the last person with whom I met. Up until I met with her, I was going to go with someone else. But I chose Kim because something about our two personalities just *clicked*. It was this very subjective criterion, but I went with it because almost all the other factors were the same. So many people say you have to go with someone whose personality is compatible with yours. I buy into that philosophy, so that's why I picked Kim. She is very sweet and genuine, and I also really like her work. The wedding photos in our proof book look *great*! I'm very happy with them. She has a good artistic eye. Even my Mom, who is a photographer loved Kim's work. She loved all the different types of shots my Mom wouldn�t have thought of taking. I can't wait to see the magazine-style wedding album. Ahh, patience, not my strong suit!

I worked with Kim Sayre and Mill Cottage Photography at many events and Kim is one of the best photographers I know. She understands how to work with all the other vendors at the wedding and helps keep things on time. If you see her work you know she is the photographer for you.

I've seen Kim in action and she is a PRO at capturing the feeling of the day. Many photographers can get a great shot of a bouquet or a dress or a cake, but few can capture feelings in images... Kim can. And she is a lovely person to boot as well which is oh so important when booking your wedding photographer. You want someone you can bond with and feel comfortable around. I just can't say enough good things about Mill Cottage Photo!
