Cityscape Events

A "5" rating isn't sufficient! Renee and the entire staff at Cityscape made the reception fabulous! The cocktail hour was set to accommodate all guests, the appetizers were plentiful and delicious, the dinner was of 5 star restaurant quality and served professionally. Our predetermined scheduled was adhered to beautifully. Renee anticipated every detail (even those we forgot to tell her about!). We recommend this venue for anyone wanting an elegant wedding reception without stress. A fabulous experience!

Renee was incredible! She was so helpful and on top of every detail. She really made the day special for me! We also had amazing food! I would recommend Cityscape to anyone looking to have excellent service and wonderful food.

Cityscape was the only reception site I looked at. It was great to work with all of their staff, and I found the best way to communicate with Renee was via email. The food was amazing and we received rave reviews from all of our guests. My only complaint would be that the night of our wedding, there was staff to assist me that I had never met before, otherwise I would recommend Cityscape to anyone looking to get married in Kalamazoo!

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire staff at Cityscape. As the last of my friends to get married, I wanted a new and unique venue that no one had used before. My mom and I visited Cityscape shortly after my engagement and we knew immediately that it was the place for us. The loft space is funky, different, and big. I loved the square tables and plates and everything about the space was just unique. The entire staff (Renee, Brian, and Chef Eric) catered to my every need and Renee responded quickly to my (many) emails. We had many requests that they full-filled without question and my reception was amazing. My uncle told my dad that I ruined every other wedding he'll ever go to because ours was so nice. Thank you so much to Renee and everyone at Cityscape for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!!! I will recommend you to every single person I know who is getting married in Michigan!

We absolutely loved our experience with Cityscape. Working with them is truly a dream come true for any bride! We worked with Renee, their event planner, and she was professional, friendly and answered my gazillions of questions promptly. She was very organized and helped our reception go off without a hitch! We looked around a lot in the Kalamazoo area but once we saw Cityscape, we were sold! It has an urban loft feel to it and the room is beautiful. We loved the square tables and plates, it was really different. We got RAVE reviews from all of our guests about the space and the food. The food was absolutely amazing. Several of our guests said it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. Bottom line, we couldn't have been happier about how the reception went and would recommend Cityscape to anyone!

Rene and all the staff at Cityscape did an amazing job with our reception. After all the months of planning and figuring out all the little details, Rene was able to put it all together and turn it into an event that was far more beautiful than I had even imagined it to be. The food was fabulous! We loved every single bite of everything we ate. It all couldn't have been more perfect and everyone thought so. We can't even count how many people said it was one of the most gorgeous receptions they had ever been to. All thanks to everyone at Cityscape.

I can not speak highly enough about Cityscape Event Center and their staff! I worked specifically with Renee with whom I LOVED working. Not only did she help me organize everything for the reception, but gave me good ideas and reminders for my other vendors. Renee is fun and bubbly, promptly replying to any correspondence and letting me know what works and does not work in the event room. My guests were so impressed with the facility, the staff, the ambiance, and especially the food! We worked with Chef Rios from Epic Bistro (you have to request him because Eric from the Union is the usual caterer). My husband was focused on the food and Chef Rios exceeded our expectations with the menu (and the value!). They were flexible with bar options and worked well with all of our vendors. This venue may be more expensive than others, but it is worth every penny. Your guests will be talking about your wedding for years to come!

Although at the beginning, the planner was a bit unresponsive, as the wedding day approached, they did everything in their power to make this day special. Renee at cityscape is like having your own wedding planner without the additional cost. She takes care of everything while remaining cool and collected. I was a DIY bride on many accounts, but she made sure that when it came to setting up the hall, she would do it exactly as I wanted without me needing to do ANY of the work. The food was incredible!! Everyone raved about it. It looked beautiful and the wait staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. I would recommend them to everyone I know. In the last 5 years, I've attended over 15 weddings at every venue in the Kalamazoo area. Cityscape is without a doubt the best! If you want quality, go here.

I would recommend Cityscape to any one of my friends. The event planners were extremely easy to work with and they stuck with the budget we gave them from the beginning. They were not pushy at all and wanted the night to be exactly as we imagined it. I cannot imagine a better location to have the event. There is a level of sophistication to the hall which makes it feel like you are not at a reception hall, and everyone who attended said it was very chic. Hands down one of the best decisions I made when planning our wedding.

Brandon's team was on time and had the food set up and ready to go exactly when we were ready for our guests to begin eating, the staff was friendly and professional and served our guests perfectly, the food was very fresh and tasted great. Everyone who attended commented about how tasty the food was. It was well worth the price to have such a fabulous team take care of everything so we could relax and enjoy our party.

Citscape made all of my dreams for a reception come true. Not your typical reception hall, very warm colors with a modern twist. The staff was very helpful and always available for a phone call or email. Food is the best in town and at a great price.
