My cake was great! I really liked working with MiraBella on my cake. We planned this for over a year and every step of the way the MiraBella staff were excellent. Lisa (the secretary) was always so helpful and patient with the many questions I would call with. I am sure I was one of those difficult brides but they were great. I got the most beautiful cake. We decided to focus on alot of detailed fondant work on a smaller cake and then have sheet cake for the rest of my guests. I just need to tell everyone the sheet cakes are amazing! They are huge! When you envision a sheet cake its one of those you get from Meijers and its about 2 inches or so tall. These pieces had to be about 4 inches or more. No one knew they were having a sheet cake! They use all the same products and fillings as in their normal tiered cakes. They were just amazing. I just have to say not only my awesome display cake which was perfect, but also the "simple" sheet cake was way beyond simple. Simply perfect!! I will recommend everyone I know to MiraBella. From start to finish they made this process and my day great!

MiraBella is fantastic! From the moment I met Ken I knew I was in the right place. We decided to do a small cake and cupcakes. Their flavors are delicious and so hard to choose which ones. We went with 5 flavors and the guests could not get enough! We ordered way over the number we needed and there were no leftovers. The small two tiered cake we had designed after my wedding dress and the intricacy of the scrolling detail work was exact! The cake just sparkled and shined! I can't believe how perfect everything turned out. There is no way to express how grateful I am to have chosen MiraBella. It made our wedding day even more special than it already was. Just an added hint to anyone out there. The Pumpkin Spice Cake with Cheesecake filling is absolutly the best thing I have ever tasted in my life!

I just do not know how to describe my wedding cake in so few words!The cake was simply breath-taken-ly amazing!It has got to be the best tasting cake I have ever had, and the designwas simple-yet elegant, and fit our wedding day with grace and charm.Just what we wanted for our day, and we got so many complimentsand comments on the cake. I'm the mother of the bride and thanks to Ken and his crew at Mirabella Confections, I'm still getting calls from friends and family about the amazing cake.Not only was it just what we requested (simple but elegant), but the flavors we chose (carrot on the bottom and tiramisu on the top, with red velvet in between) were mouth-wateringly delicious. People went back for more cake and some asked if they could take leftover pieces home!Thanks so much to Mirabella and Ken for giving us what we wanted and more. I'll be calling again for our next big event - can't wait to taste more flavor samples at our next conference!

Mirabella cake tastes fantastic! Their widely varied selection of flavor combinations are incomparable. The cakes are expensive, but if you or your loved ones have a sweet tooth the investment will be well worth it.

WOW! Not only were the cupcakes AMAZING, but the entire staff was so much fun to work with! After going to several tastings with bakers in the area I was starting to get discouraged...icing too sweet, cake to dry, etc. etc. As soon as I took the first of many bites during tasting at MiraBella Confections, I was so so happy. The buttercream frosting melts in your mouth, the cake is so moist and full of flavor, the fillings are creative and perfectly balanced, and the combinations of flavors are to-die-for. We had a cupcake tower and all our guests LOVED the cupcakes! We actually saw guests grab leftover cupcakes and take them home with them!! In fact, the first wedding picture that someone put up on Facebook was a picture of their cupcake! MiraBella Confections, thank you so much!

Ken was great and I loved our cake. He had great ideas and I can't wait to eat more on our anniversary!

MiraBella Confections was so wonderful!! The cake that I got was a great price. I was so happy to be able to pick any of the flavors off of their menu for no extra cost, each layer could be a different flavor. I got a grooms cake in the shape of a baseball cap and it was GREAT!!! I got waaaaay more detail in that hat cake than I ever imagined! It was like something you would see on those cake shows, if not better. Everyone was talking about that cake during the whole reception. They delivered my cake to my venue right on time. I docked them the half a point because they were so busy it took forever and a lot of bugging for them to get me the contract. That was the only minor problem and it wasnt because they were lazy or anything bad, I think they were just way too busy. Everything else was great!

I found Mirabella at a bridal show and once I tried their peanut butter cup cake I had to have it. The price of the cake was a little more than i wanted to spend but it was delicious. Ken was great to work with and understood my vision and made sure to make it come to life. It turned out beautiful and tasted how I remembered. The guests raved about the peanut butter cup cake.

MiraBella is the BEST place ever to get a wedding cake from. He made our guest favors "cheesecake poppers" that were to die for! Our wedding cake was huge, beautiful and tasted great. Ken even made my son a cake that was the design of lego blocks... They looked real and tasted great as well. This company knows there cake and they were just as excited for our wedding as I was. I will now be ordering All my cakes from this place.

Everything was perfect! From beginning to end everyone was easy to work with, and the cake looked exactly like I imagined. (yes, I got teary when I saw it) As beautiful as it was it tasted even more amazing! We had a three tier cake with a chocolate peanut butter tier, an almond cream tier and a coconut crunch tier, and I can't decide which was my favorite.

MiraBella was awesome to work with!! We purchased our groom's cake and wedding cake from them. The coconut crunch cake is to die for. Their level of service was great and the cake tasted even better. He did exactly what I asked for and more! The cake tasted great, and I had tons of people asking me where it was from!

We had the most beautiful cake; exactly what we wanted. We helped with the design, and Ken gave great suggestions, and made it all happen. The cake was not only great to look at, it tasted delicious!! It was moist, rich, and very yummy! I highly recommend the lemon flavored cake; it was my favorite out of the three. The fondant is also delicious, though we didn't want it at first. Ken made us try it because we had a bad experience with the store bought stuff before. His is homemade and yummy. And, for the people that prefer the frosting instead of fondant, he puts on an entire layer of icing beneath the fondant. Great for everyone! Delicious!!!!!

My wedding cake was one of my favorite parts about my wedding. My husband and I were able to sit down with Ken and design our dream wedding cake and we really felt like it was the one area where we could be really creative - and our cake turned out so wonderfully. It was stunning, unique, and everything we wanted. Ken helped us out so much with design, let us do what we wanted, but still gave his input to make sure the final product turned out elegant. The cake is not just the best wedding cake I've ever had, but the best cake in general I've ever had! He was prompt at the reception and always very receptive to any questions or concerns I had. Mirabella cakes are worth every penny!

MiraBella created a very traditional 5-tier wedding cake for us. We received so many compliments on our cake and it was beautiful. Ken listened very well to what we wanted our cake to look like and did a wonderful job a creating a masterpiece. We loved that we could get different flavors on the different tiers and each flavor ended up tasting so good! I received a call a day before the wedding because the cake stand that we had chosen was missing (a previous client lost it) and Ken & his staff looked all over town for a replacement, but couldn't find one that was as good of quality. The only thing left was to go with the square cake stand (although it was a round cake) but I am glad they tried everything they could think of to get a round cake stand. To my surprise, they were able to use the round cake stand (they finally found it) for our wedding day, but I am confident that the cake would have been gorgeous on either stand.I couldn't have been happier with MiraBella Confections.

My husband and I absolutely fell in love with Ken and Mirabella Confections. We originally wanted to find a baker to prepare a smaller cake for us to cut, but then have Costco sheet cakes in the back to be cut up and served. We found out in our first meeting with Ken that he doesn't participate with couples with that type of situation but was willing to recommend some of his competitors that do. My husband and I were very impressed with his honesty and we decided to stick around and get an estimate and tasting from Ken, just so we didn't feel like we had wasted his time. Ken disappeared and returned with a dinner plate full of cake samples, complete with filling and garnish for each flavor. Everything was so delicious and decadent that we regretted eating dinner before we came! Ken was a pleasure to work with. His pricing is a fla little above that of competitors but well worth it. His creations are rich and delicious. He offers a huge variety of cake flavors and his cake layers are about 5 or 6 inches thick- huge slices! Our guests were very impressed with our cake at our reception. It was beautifully decorated and we have referred him to everyone we know, for every occasion! We will definitely be visiting Mirabella Confections again.

When it was time to select my wedding cake, Mirabella was really the only place I considered! Their cakes are exquisitely delicious, modern and diverse. I went in knowing only vaguely what I wanted in a cake, and left with a personalized design and more flavor options than I ever hoped for! Ken was wonderful to work with--very patient with an indecisive bride. :) They are a bit pricier than some other vendors may be, but the quality is worth it. DELICIOUS!! :)

MiraBella created a fabulous wedding cake for us. At our initial meeting, we sat down with the owner, who sketched a unique design that reflected what we were looking for in a cake. This group was very creative, professional, and pleasant to work with. And their cakes are delicious -- we were sold at the tasting.

Best cake in town! Rich moist cake to make you forget the whole wedding and just want to eat cake. He can do very creative designs too!

For the most part, working with Mirabella was great. They gave us the perfect design that we wanted, let us taste a very generous amount of cake, worked with our budget and were very flexible. They did not respond to our calls or emails very quickly, but did atleast respond within an almost acceptable amount of time. In the end, the cake was gorgeous and tasted perfect. The only BIG flaw was that every other layer of the cake was suppose to be wedding white and every other layer was suppose to be their chocolate passion. I double checked our communications to ensure I didn't just think I told them and I had told them. In the end, the cake was all wedding white. It wasn't too big of a deal but I did expect to get what I was paying for and asking for. Other than that, they were above average.

Mirabella is the best! I had no end of compliments on the cake, and it was definitely the best wedding cake I've ever tasted. Ken was prompt in returning my e-mails and phone calls, the design session was easy and straightforward, and everything was very easy to understand. We had a gift certificate, and he took it and applied it without complaint. Wonderful vendor!

Ken did a fantastic job on my cake. It's seriously the BEST cake we've ever tasted. We even order cakes from him for other occasions since the whole family is in love w/the lemon/raspberry and chocolate/ganache. Additionally, I had a vision for a cake that reflected the pattern of my dress and he pulled it off beautifully. He took a ton of time meeting w/us to develop our "design" plan!

Our cake was beautiful and OH SO YUMMY! We got so many compliments on how amazing it was! (many said it was the best dessert they had ever had!) The only bad thing was that most people wanted more than one slice!

We were not able to get a brides cake for them, because our reception hall gave us one for free. He did such a great job with our grooms cake that we tell everyone we know to go to Ken for their cake needs. We had a catfish cake and it is on the website for anyone to see.

WOW. Our cake was fabulous. Gorgeous. Supremely Beautiful. Not only did it look like a celebrity cake, it was divine in taste! We choose three flavors: chocolate with chocolate ganache icing, luscious lemon, Wedding White with European Buttercream icing. The entire cake was then covered in smooth layer of fondant adorned with fondant cut outs and crystals to mirror the design of my dress. Magnificent! AND it was seven layers tall with a crown on top to finish off the look.(*I did not wear a crown)

The artistic designs of their cakes are unmatched in Grand Rapids, but more importantly, they have the best tasting cake and frosting ever! Complete Music and Video performs at about 700 wedding a year, and we see that many cakes each year. MirraBella Confections is definately the best!

MiraBella Confections has always shown a strong professionalism. The sky is the limit when it comes to their creativity. I ordered a birthday cake for my husband that was a carved cake in the shape of a clone trooper helmet. Ken had not yet created one like this, but it turned out amazing and I would order it again!
