Miriam is really talented. I really enjoyed working with her to select the music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Despite knowing that I am overseas, she did not mind going through long distance call with me to finalize the music arrangement.
When I heard her played before the ceremony, I was lost for words. I never regret my choice of engaging her.

Miriam played at my June 30, 2012 wedding. She was such a delight to work with. I had never actually heard a harp live before but somehow I was sure that I wanted one to play at my wedding ceremony. Miriam did not disappoint. She was so helpful and patient and she helped make my wedding day dreams come true. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.

We had Miriam Weber Brown play her harp for our daughter's wedding ceremony. When she was growing up in Worthington, our daughter had heard Miriam play at the 55 Restaurant for Sunday brunch many times. She was always fascinated by the harp and enjoyed Miriam’s playing. It was a thrill to meet Miriam again at a bridal show and of course, our daughter wanted Miriam to play at her wedding.
Miriam was so easy and pleasant to work with. Her website provides a very helpful repertoire list to choose from. Since the bride and groom work full-time, the emails and a phone call where Miriam played some pieces they were interested in made it easy to arrange the details that were needed.
On the day of the event, Miriam played beautifully and helped to make the day extra special. Our guests loved the harp playing for the prelude, and the soft harp playing during the Rose Ceremony was especially moving. Everyone was complimentary about the harp and what it added to the ceremony.
Miriam is a true professional, an excellent harpist, and wonderful to deal with. We heartily recommend her to anyone whose event would be elevated by some beautiful harp music.

Miriam Weber Brown (Harpist) and Valorie Adams-Hildreth (Flutist) were absolutely fabulous! My husband and I got married in May 2012 at Columbus Park of Roses. Miriam was unbelievably helpful and responsive during the wedding planning process. She played live samples for us over the phone, mailed a CD of sample music and answered all of our questions. She even recommended a wedding coordinator when I was searching for one a few months before our wedding. My parents thought Miriam was excellent and loved chatting with her after the ceremony. I can't say enough kind words about Miriam and Valerie. I greatly the joy they brought to our ceremony.

Miriam was so sweet and awesome to work with! To be honest, my husband and I weren't crazy about the idea of a harp at first. It was what my mom wanted and booked so we went with it. She worked so hard to learn some very contemporary songs that I had my heart set on for the ceremony. I think my husband and I were both surprised how much we loved the music - we got numerous compliments on ceremony music as well! Miriam was so helpful in assisting us make song selections for each part of our daughters wedding. She even provided formal music information to give our printer for programs. She was always quick to respond to our communications. She and her flutist Valorie Adams-Hildreth are a great duo. The music they provided was tops!

We booked Miriam for our rehearsal dinner and couldn't have been happier. She was so nice and professional and really made our event unique and special. She played a huge variety of musical genres from modern to 80s pop to swing. It was really cool to hear some of those songs on a harp. It was memorable and unexpected and added that something special to the night! She was also very flexible with what she could play, allowing us to choose the songs we wanted.

Miriam was a pleasure to work with and her music was absolutely beautiful... several guests have emailed me since the and told me how great she was. Mrs. Brown was wonderful. The music was great. I decided on a harpist pretty much last minute and found her online. She was very flexible, we communicated through email and phone calls becuase we were unable to meet in person. She is reasonably priced, the lowest in Columbus that I found. She also helped and let me do my own music selection. She is very dedicated to her harp playing and was the perfect touch to my elegant ceremony.

Hiring a harpist was a last minute decision, and we're glad we did. Miriam was very flexible with our song choices and short time window, and delivered the goods on the big day. Highly recommended.
