Mission 261

We wanted a chinese banquet with decent decor. This was the place.

The manager, Robert, is really friendly but he knows his business and knows what he's doing. We signed a contract, but it wasn't very detailed at all. The food was decent, the service was decent during the dinner.

I would say the only thing to watch out for is the table/guest count. If you don't have your numbers right, they can add tables, or overcharge you the day of. If you are careful to be meticulous about the planning, it's a great deal for a wedding with all the amenities taken care of (i.e. there's a slideshow player set up already, not in the way of anything, high ceilings, nice double entry doors, etc.)

Pricier than the other reputable chinese restaurants in the area but cheaper than taking it to a hotel and getting charged double for lower quality food!

The food at our reception was delicious, including the dishes especially made for vegetarians by our request, and the prices were extremely reasonable. We had a few logistical issues on the day of our reception -- most of which were quickly corrected -- but otherwise our experience was great.

Wonderful ambience for traditional Chinese wedding banquet. Food is amazing.

Mission 261 is a pretty nice restaurant with more a picturesque setting than your standard Chinese restaurant. We might use Mission 261 for our rehearsal dinner.
