Mission Inn was incredible!!! First and foremost, my original wedding date was supposed to be 12/13/13. We had a signed contract and deposit down on that date. However, my wife and I are now expecting a child, and Mission Inn was extremely understanding in allowing us to change dates, without being penalized. This took a ton of stress of of our plate, and really made us feel like they cared about us and our special day.
The other challenged my wife and i faced was the fact that everyone of our guest were travelling a great distance to attend the wedding. Because of this we felt a strong need to provide more than just a one day event. Our wedding party ended up arriving Thursday before our Sunday event and everyone had an amazing time. My groomsmen played, golf, and went skeet shooting, while their wives and our bridesmaids relaxed by the pool and went to the spa. We ate every meal at the hotel, and everyone raved about how amazing all of the food was.
We had a block of rooms, so the prices were very affordable, and everyone mentioned how clean and nice the hotel rooms were. The honeymoon suite (i should say palace) was incredible and my pregnant wife certainly appreciated the spa/tub that the room had.
The ceremony itself was at outside located between the pool hall and buffet restaurant, and it couldn't have been more beautiful. I cant wait to see the photos!!
We also had a few small children with us, and the hotel was really kid friendly. There is a small playground, and shuffleboard courts which kept them amused and entertained. One of my friends even extended his stay and drove to Disney and Universal two of the days. The hotel was just shy of an hour away so it worked out well.
Overall the event truly could not have gone any better, my wife and I are already planning our 1 year anniversary back there.

Shannon had her work cut out from the begining. My daughter's Finance was stationed to South Korea within two weeks, Shannon made our dreams come true and her staff was exceptionally well organized and pleasant. We started out with immediate family that turned into +40 and within one Day Shannon and her staff pulled it together. Then the Rain came in and in a matter of minutes with her searching the weather radar we had our wedding cermony outside as planned. (even though she set another site inside for us).
Whether you are planning a wedding, family dinner, romantic get away, convention etc.... Call Mission Inn First. You will save yourself a lot of time and money.!!!!!

WOW! What an amazing wedding! Our night was absolutely PERFECT.
A few weeks before the wedding we got a different wedding coordinator, Katie. I was worried seeing as this transition took place just before the wedding, but she did an awesome job! A few days before the big day, I dropped off my menu's, candy buffet items, and table names. She did a great job helping us unload and did an even better job setting up the room for the reception.
The food was amazing also. We got so many comments from our guests on how delicious everything was. The food staff was so attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed.
The venue couldn't have been more perfect. At first we wanted to get married at the beach or in Downtown Orlando but I am so glad we went with the Mission Inn! The rolling hills, ponds, and beautiful golf course was the perfect backdrop for our pictures.
The hotel was also great. Most of our guests stayed at The Mission Inn and had wonderful things to say of the rooms and pool.
My husband played golf the morning of the wedding and he had only great things to say.
All in all everything was awesome. I have nothing negative to say about the Mission Inn or the staff. Shout out to Katie for doing such an amazing job and making all my wedding dreams come true!

Mission Inn went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly for our wedding reception. The level of professionalism and the quality of service were top notch from our first visit on the property until we walked out the door as husband & wife! We are so thankful to have had the opportunity to work with so many knowledgable, friendly, and hardworking people at Mission Inn! :) They are wonderful.
Both Shannon and Tammy were great to work woth. Tammy was our coordinator and she did not miss a beat! Everytime I needed something her respose was "I got it!" I came down from my room 30 minutes before the ceremony and Tammy gave me a quick tour of the reception and everthing was exactly as I had requested. Not one detail was missed. It was pouring rain the day of our wedding and Tammy knew how badly I wanted and outdoor wedding. 40 minutes before my ceremony start time, the sun came out and right away Tammy had our ceremony moved back outside. Our guests have not stopping talking about our wedding and how amazing everything was. The setting, the decor and especially the food! It was the best filet and grouper any of us had ever tasted. The staff was extemely attentive and courteous. If you looking for a beautiful location and excellant service, Mission Inn will blow you away!
We recently got married here and the venue is stunning, although we did have a slight rain delay everything turned out beautiful. The food was great, we did buffet style, and all our guests commented on how good it was. Tammy was very helpful throughout my planning process and executing everything like I wanted. There was a little confusion of directing guests where to go when the cocktail hour got rained out. And at the end of the night the Mission Inn staff was not very helpful in clean up and we had a few guests tell us they left their cards on the table and they were never found. We are skeptical that the wait staff took them and were told at a previous meeting by the Mission Inns' own employee to be cautious the day of our wedding. That was about the only downfall. Everything was beautiful and we look forward to more memories in the years to come at the resort.

I had an amazing wedding at Mission Inn Resort! The location is gorgeous.
My husband and I had a wonderful wedding at Mission Inn. Our day could not have gone better. Tammy and the Mission Inn staff were very accommodating to the needs of my family and the people in attendace. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the wedding location was as well as the hotel it self. It really was a great retreat for all of us. The staff provided my parents with updated lists of people staying at the hotel so they could prepare gift bags. Our day was simply magical and it is all thanks to Tammy and the Mission Inn staff. From start to finish Mission Inn was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.
The planning process got a little hairy. They changed management in the middle of our wedding planning so we had to pull out our copy of the original contract to ensure we got everything we were contracted for.
My husband and I don't drink alcohol so we requested non-alcoholic beverages for our toast and for our honeymoon sweet instead of wine. They were great at accommodating us.
One issue I ran into was how to accommodate vegetarians. We were told during our tasting not to worry about how many or who was vegetarian because "they would speak up for themselves". So we didn't worry about it, although I was very worried about it. The week of our wedding, I received a phone call asking to give a specific number of vegetarians. I had no idea! I was quite upset about this as I had addressed this issue back in our tasting.
I felt like I was another wedding to be had on our wedding weekend. We had booked with them back at the first of the year (we got married 10/28/12) for a Sunday wedding, with a rehearsal to take place the day before, on Saturday. Another wedding had booked on that Saturday and we were asked to rehearse in a completely different place (their wedding was going on nearby our rehearsal site) on the property to which I refused, then were asked to do the rehearsal on that Friday prior!! I was like,"are you kidding me??". I felt like the wedding that booked for Saturday was more important than ours since they had 300+ guests which meant more money being spent.
The day of our wedding ran pretty smoothly. They accommodated our idea to block off the main aisle I was to walk down. They allowed my dad to bring his own stakes to place in the ground for part of our props. The food was awesome and the waiting staff was friendly. Tammy, the coordinator for Mission Inn was checking in with us to see if we needed anything.

My fiancee proposed to me in our hotel room at The Mission Inn on December 15, 2011, and due to the sentimental value, we decided to do our wedding here. First off—let me say that this location is AMAZING in general. Just the scenery and the downtown area across the street is enough to make you go “WOW!” at it's beauty. We were lucky enough to be there on vacation during the Festival of Lights, where the Mission Inn is completely decked out in Christmas decor and lights. The rooms are majestic in themselves. If you haven't been there yet, it is definitely worth a couple night stay. They also have a Spanish restaurant, a Steak restaurant, and I think another place connected to the hotel, and all have wonderful food. Not to mention a wine bar and activities like afternoon tea.
They offer amazing wedding packages with wonderful food choices, and their wedding vendor list is amazing. Without going into much detail, let me just say that I have had no unpleasant experiences with the people that work there or the people they recommend for wedding things (they provide you with a list of 2-4 companies for each vendor). What is really amazing with the list is that everyone on the list has worked together at some point in time, so they are all familiar with each other and know each other's flow, which is super reassuring when you are the bride and choosing vendors.
For the day of the wedding, the hotel provided beautiful and picturesque locations for my husband, family, friends, and I to be photographed. The photographer we chose (Curtis with Enchanted Portraiture) knows the ins and outs of The Mission Inn, and even with all of his experience there, he still tried a few new things with us. The coordinators made the whole day stress free as they were familiar with the time line and generally assumed we were brain-dead (which we were) and just told us what to do and where to go. With these super-skilled folks, I am pretty sure you could forget everything you had planned for the year before, and they would make it look like you knew exactly what you were doing.
My wedding was stress free and perfect for my guests, the wedding party, my family, and my husband and I because these folks are so knowledgeable on how to run a wedding. Because of our multiple wonderful experiences at The Mission Inn, we will be coming back there often as somewhat of a Christmas/wedding tradition. Thanks, Mission Inn, for making my wedding perfect!
We absolutely loved Mission Inn!!!! They provided us with a beautiful ceremony outdoors, an amazing reception, an precise timing of all the events! All I heard from the guests were positive comments about how well organized it went. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Could not have picked a more amazing venue. As a bride you know going in that there is going to be a lot of stress with planning but with Mission Inn they took my worries away.
I don't even know where to begin with my review. My wedding was absolutely PERFECT and I owe much of that to the staff at Mission Inn, particularly Tammy Witeck and Elisa from A Flair for Affairs. Tammy was with me from the very beginning providing advice or asking if there was any way that she could help with my planning. I love that I was able to hand over all of our wedding stuff to her and she just made it happen. Elisa also made sure that the ceremony and reception went smoothly I could tell that she could do this with her eyes closed she's such an expert. These two work so well together. I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. Any problems that may have arisen during the day (a huge rain storm coming our way, my overly complicated bustle), they worked it out between the two of them and didn't bother me with the issue at all. In addition to having these two to work with, I was also impressed by the food. I still dream about the salmon frommage that my groom had as his entree. I had the chicken fontana which was also quite good. I was worried about our food being dried out or not seasoned well as frequently happens with banquet food, but that turned out not to be a problem at all. It was as if each of us had ordered off of the restaurant menu and it was prepared just then for us. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and we and our guests were treated cordially by all of the staff. Howey-in-the-Hills is a ways outside of Orlando and there isn't much to do out there, but it was definitely worth it to have the wedding of our dreams -- and at what we perceive to be a reasonable price.

We could not have been happier with everything the Mission Inn did to accommodate us in making our daughter’s day so wonderful! From Tammy and Carlos to the Chef and all of the excellent cook and wait staff, we found people who cared deeply and wanted to make this day memorable.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect; and the reception was awesome, festive, and celebratory. We had so many compliments on the food and how delicious it was. Plus, our service during the cocktail hour and reception was exceptional! Kudos to all involved.
We would also like to thank all of the front desk staff who took care of distributing the “Welcome Bags” and making certain that all of our out-of-town guests were so well taken care of while they were at the resort. Again, we have heard rave reviews from all of those who spent time on the grounds.
Also, many thanks to the maid service that took care of our villa, as well as the honeymoon suite, making sure that both areas were spotless and well kept during our stay. We appreciated so many people helping us and taking care of the small necessary details.
Not only would we highly recommend the Mission Inn as a venue for anyone planning a wedding, but we would also suggest all of our vendors. They were great to work with, and we could not have been more pleased with the service that was given to us. Everyone and everything was outstanding!!
Beautiful place for wedding and reception. Very nice that it is almost all inclusive, or rather they provide most of the services. They will handle ceremony, reception site (many to choose from) as well as rehearsal dinner and hotel accomodations. Lots of people catered to helping you. Few minor bumps and miscommunications but everything was handled very well and made-up for. Overall definately worth the little bit of stress to have everything in one place.
I truly can not say enough about the incredible staff and stunning grounds at the Mission Inn. My husband and I wanted to have a small ceremony in Italy, but both sets of parents wanted us to have a wedding here. We both have huge families and didn't want a wedding at a regular hotel banquet hall. We looked at several places that could seat over 220 people, but didn't really love any of them, until we saw the Mission. We went there for brunch one Sunday to check the place out, once we drove up I knew this was the place! We had a wonderful brunch (all the food was incredible) and walked around the stunning grounds. I fell in love with old "Spanish-style" architecture and the beautiful rolling hills of the golf course. It is such a unique and charming venue, with the best staff in the world to compliment it. We met with Morgan Beucher, the events coordinator to discuss our needs and hear about the packages they offer. Morgan is extremely bright and professional and knows everything about how to take care of customers and throw a great party. Their prices are very reasonable and they are extremely flexible when it comes to customizing your event so you get what you want for a fair price. Then we started working with their wedding coordinator, Tammy Witeck who is a master at all things wedding!! I can not say enough about her talents and professionalism. She is truly incredible and I loved working with her. I am not good at the details and Tammy was there for me every step of the way helping with anything and everything she could. She alleviated so much stress off of me by getting quotes on table linens, draping, chair covers, pretty much anything I asked her she would do willingly. SHe has incredible taste and great ideas and helped me plan every detail of my day. I would even call her to get her opinion on the quotes i got from vendors in order to see of I was getting a good deal. On the day of she was made sure everything went smoothly, and everything was set up and done properly. I have never seen someone so "on top" on their game. She is simply incredible, and I loved working with her. THE FOOD! Oh the food! Every single person who attended our wedding said 2 things, how beautiful the Mission was and how incredible the food was! It was by far the best wedding food anyone has ever had, and I second that. The staff who prepares and serves the food is equally as wonderful. We met the chef the day of the tasting and he came out after dinner was served, I thought that was very impressive. We also were on first name basis's with several of the staff members. They are all such nice people, that just added to our special day. The Mission was also very fair on prices for the rooms for our guests and Vickie who handles all of that could not have been more accommodating. They printed up map/directions inserts for our invitations, which I thought was so nice. Vickie would also send my Dad weekly printed updates of who booked rooms as we got closer to the day. Everyone that came to our wedding has been raving about it since. The guys loved the golf course and said it was one of the best courses they have ever played. Other guests (especially the ones from up North) loved the weather and just relaxing by the pool. We made a weekend out of our wedding since we also held the rehearsal dinner across the street at their lake pavilion, which again was magnificent! The Mission provides you with your "big time dream wedding," but with a family-friendly feel. It is a family run business and always has been, and I hope it stays that way. You truly feel like you are working with your close friends or family when you plan a wedding or any event here. I am beyond thrilled with every single aspect of the Mission Inn and miss all the people who helped plan our special day.

I waited until awhile after the wedding to post my review of Mission Inn so that it would be as straightforward as possible and give me time to reflect on their service. I can honestly say now that Mission Inn is not the place I would have had my wedding if I knew what I was getting into. Many things went wrong with the wedding from the room reservations being scattered to the front desk not even knowing what room I was in for the wedding. The makeup lady was late because of this and there was not enough time to do my hair . The shuttle guy was not ready to pick us up and then the wedding party had walk through the hotel to the front to get the shuttle. The cocktail hour our guests did not even see because there was no announcement as to where it was . There was also no shuttle to the cocktail reception. Guests had to check out of their hotels in the middle of the reception which really upset me because I wanted dancing and fun.
We ordered the cake from Publix and apparently someone, either Publix or Mission Inn dropped it. It was frustrating that no one wanted to take responsibility for dropping it afterward. I see some great remarks for Tammy on here, but honestly to me she was no that nice at times and really did not seem like she was focused on one thing. There were other brides that day and you just felt like one of many and it was not customized. Mission Inn blamed us for not having the right planner as there is one they usually ask the bride to get, but we were not told about that until after our wedding. We paid for a 4 hour reception that lasted maybe 3 hour and then people were checking out of the room and Mission Inn did not even see this as a problem, which should have been a consideration with an afternoon reception. I was surprised that for a place that does so many weddings there was such a lack of organization and attention. Tammy came to me during my wedding with problems which is really not what you want on your day.
We would have saved a lot of stress by having our wedding somewhere we felt actually took care of everything. From the beginning, we signed the contract and we were told the time of the reception changed because of another event and the save the date had the wrong day. I did not think it would be anything. lol
I do want to say I am so glad I married my husband and our ceremony and vows were very special to me.
After the wedding, we had many long talks with them and I told them I would not post a review until they had the chance to reconcile everything. It took over a month for them to review and figure out what happened in 1 day, and then they offered us a minor portion of our money back. It was not about the money, it was that we felt we did not get what we paid for and that I had worked so hard to plan this one day that did not go according to it. There is no price for memories. We tried to work it out until we were satisfied by asking for reasonable charges back including the cocktail hour no one ate food at, but they declined that. Even though we were not satisfied they said they would refund a certain amount of money and they did not even get the refund right. They returned less money than they said they would and agreed to. Also, they were going to look at other charges, but we did not hear back on that from them. It was exhausting to deal with them. We only feel bad about this negative review for Morgan because is the best person to deal with there who actually listens to your concern and I could tell genuinely cared, but she had no say in a refund. Other than that, it did not seem to matter about any of the details that were important to us including a quick, concise, professional answer to our issues with satisfying result for everyone involved.

Mission Inn is a beautiful location with people who honestly put all of their time and efforts into making your day perfect. I would suggest keeping constant emails and phone calls with your wedding planner.
I highly recommend Mission Inn Resort for BOTH ceremony and reception. I was so impressed with the help and the attentiveness that EVERYONE at the Mission Inn gave to me. I literally felt like the princess of the day! Even people that I had not worked with directly if they were there they helped. Everyone that I have talked to still talks about how beautiful the wedding and reception were. My mother is still talking about how ALL the people there were SUPER nice, went out of their way to do whatever needed to be done! Words cannot describe just how happy I was and still am with the decision we made to have our wedding and reception there. I know they say no wedding runs perfect, well I am here to tell you that as far as I knew the day of my wedding EVERYTHING was running perfect, if it wasn't I never knew about it. They also give you your own personal coordinator...She was awesome! We had 150 guest, and the ceremony chairs were set up, everyone could see and the reception site was beautiful and fit us PERFECTLY!!!!!!
My daughter's wedding was so much less stressful thanks to the professional staff at Mission Inn. The venue is absolutely gorgeous so the pictures were fabulous! The food quality at the cocktail hour and reception dinner was the finest I've ever had at such an event. Our guests raved about the taste and variety of the cuisine! I hope all my children will get married in the central Florida area so that we will never have to "settle" for another venue that would disappoint us!

This stunning spanish styled oasis is the perfect spot to get married. Go see for yourself why this is one of my favorite venues to shoot in Florida! This several acre property has so many unique places to shoot the options are endless it truly is a photographers dream location to shoot. From fountains, arches, waterfalls, moss draped 100 year old oak trees, lakes and much much more. Trust me check out this venue!

Mission Inn Resort is one of the most perfect venues that shows the beautiful elegance of all that Florida has to offer. The outdoor area for the ceremony provides a stunning view of lush landscape. The indoor areas are so beautiful, filled with antiques and special touches that makes each room warm and inviting. The food is amazing and the staff attentive. I still remember the first time I was ever at Mission Inn for a wedding. I turned the corner and saw the beautiful ceremony site! It is one of the prettiest venues in all of Central Florida. Mission Inn Resort is by far one of the most unique and picturesque venues in the Central Florida area.
