Mike was amazing! From start to finish, everyone was on their feet dancing; all we have heard from family and friends since the wedding was how great the DJ was and how much fun they had! We are looking for an excuse to throw another party just so we can have Mike come back and DJ!

Damian Rhodes was perfect on our wedding night and he adapted to every change we made up to and including a last minute brides maid/groomsmen change 3 days prior, latenesss to the wedding.

He mixed a song perfectly for the father/daughter dance to handle a family situation and took care of everything that we asked.

Last but not least, he helped Spider-man, yes Spider-man, an an appearance, no, a grand entrance during the dollar dance.

I'd recommend not only MixedUp, but Damian especially, to anyone.

We booked Mike of Mixed Up Productions over a year in advance, and we have never regretted our decision. We got a lot of compliments on how awesome our DJ was, and even one of our friends who used to DJ said, "He was really good!"

Literally, the moment the dance floor was opened up to the guests, it was full and people were dancing all night! He didn't get to all of our requests but it was fine because he really did an awesome job, people had fun, and he was really great at keeping us on time and announcing everything. When we had a child catch the garter during the garter toss, Mike handled it perfectly by explaining to the child what it was, and it was a hilarious moment.

We were so happy with everything he did, and he definitely ran some "questionable" guest requests by us (which we were quickly able to veto). Mike brought an additional sound system that we needed for our cocktail hour, so it was awesome that they really have everything thought out and you can select different packages based on your wedding day needs.

Also, Mike provided a wall monogram and uplighting for our venue, and it really looked amazing! I think it just added that extra touch and I love how it turned out. When Mike wasn't available, Joanna was excellent at returning my emails, so that was really awesome. We planned everything from out-of-town, and their online system is perfect for this as you can add all of the music for the day online...very convenient. Book Mike today if you want your guests to have an awesome time!

Chris was wonderful! He kept people on the dance floor- he had people dancing before dinner was served!! When the timeline for the evening started to get backed up, I got worried that dinner service would take too long and no one would get to dance- Chris disappeared for 5 minutes and, when he returned, the night was back on schedule! He truly saved the evening and made everything flow from the toasts to the cake-cutting. Couldn't have picked a better DJ! He has such a friendly, fun personality and he sets the mood for the night. You won't find a more attentive, organized DJ.

Mike was awesome at our wedding, everyone is STILL talking about the DJ, music and overall feel of our wedding-which was people up on the dance floor throughout the night. He was great to work with and very flexible and fun. It was just what we were looking for at the perfect price. While I wasn't THE bride, I am the Mother of a very happy bride. On 12/31/11, my daughter Kate married Dustin at the AACA, Hershey, PA. The event was spectacular - more over-the-top than we could imagine thanks to some very special, creative, talented and hard-working suppliers/friends.
Mixed-Up Productions', Mike Miller, listened tentatively to my daughter's requests leading up to the wedding and helped her make some great music and entertainment decisions. From their very first meeting, Kate commented that she knew her DJ decision was spot-on.And on New Year's Eve, Mike MADE the party-portion of the night a fabulous memory. He read and studied the guests and read them well and we danced to a variety of artists - from Michael Jackson and Usher to the Righteous and Eisley Brothers. The dance floor was never empty.
But Mike's contributions didn't end with just the dancing. He brought us amazing lighting including a twinkling sky and a New Year's Eve gobo and most of all, Mike brought families and friends together to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Speaking for the nearly 250 guests, thank you for being a part of this journey and a most memorable event.

Mixed up Productions is hands down the best wedding DJs in Central PA! Chris did an incredible job for our New Year's Eve wedding. From the second dinner ended until our midnight countdown, Chris had the dance floor packed and rockin! No one wants a wedding where people don't dance - Chris got the young, the old, and all ages in between dancing all night long!

All I can say is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! They kept my wedding fun, and EVERYONE WAS DANCING! Even the two grandmothers who are in their mid to late 80's were up and dancing with us! They played amazing and fun music! This company also played the music for my ceremony, and for the cocktail hour, and did a FANTASTIC JOB! We worked specifically with Mike Miller, who was open minded to new ideas with the ceremony music, and was in-touch with the most up to date dance music etc! He was very very busy this winter, and it was obvious, however he always made it a point to respond to all of my emails in a professional manner, and would always be available to talk about the upcoming wedding! He is worth every penny!

Mike was such a great choice for us. He was very fun, friendly, and professional. He was quick to return all of my emails and questions. We also played spanish music at our wedding (bachata, merengue etc) and he had no problem finding these songs for us. They also have an awesome website where you can input all of your special songs, timelines, and any other requests you have (as well as a do not play list!). I would definitely recommend Mike Miller and Mixed Up Productions to anyone looking for a great DJ for a great price!!

I know when I see reviews of anything where it was all 5.0 stars, I tend to think the reviewer didn't really put any time into it. But trust me, Mike Miller of Mixed Up Productions was absolutely amazing for us! My wife and I had been together for 9 years before we tied the knot so we've been to our fare share of weddings. Mike Miller had more people up and dancing than WE'VE EVER SEEN!!! The whole night was amazing! He even helped us out with a little secret dance number months before the wedding! We couldn't have picked a better DJ to set the mood. Mike Miller and Mixed Up Productions get our vote for sure, you only get one shot to get a wedding right...why take the chance with another DJ?!?!

We had Mike Miller with Mixed Up Productions as the DJ for our wedding reception and he was FANTASTIC! Out of the 15+ weddings we've been to over the last few year, we've seen it all (good, bad & ugly). We knew we wanted the best of the best when we booked Mike and he delivered - even beyond our expectations! He was so easy to work with and the online planning tool they have is extremely helpful. Everyone at our party had a blast - from 18 to 80 year olds, everyone danced all night long and had a blast. I couldn't be happier!!!

I cannot say enough good things about MixedUpProductions and their DJ services. It was such a pleasure working with Mike Miller. He made the planning of our wedding reception so much easier and stress free. He kept the flow of the reception running so smoothly and did not miss a beat. I just want to let you know that Adam was the DJ at my son and daughter-in-laws wedding on Saturday, October 1, 2011. Chris Garrett was our dj for the night, he also brought an intern with him to help him with the DJing. Before the wedding day, i went and met with him he made sure i was on track that my invites were sent out and all. the day of the wedding he came to the waiting room made sure we were all in order, and than the partying began. The night went so smooth and so fast, i barely remember it, what i do remember is that everyone there was having a great time, so many people came to me and said this was the best wedding ever! i owe it all to chris!

Mike was such a fantastic dj for our wedding! He kept everything running smoothly and kept the dance floor full all night. My 83 year grandmother was out there, bustin' a move! Mike Miller was amazing! From the moment I first talked to him on the phone I knew he was a perfect fit for us. He was very easy to work with and we had fun every time we met. The online planning form was awesome and it was great to be able to see the most popular song as well as listen to songs right from the form. He was genuinely excited for our day and was so happy to be there. He really cares about the event and really wants to see people out there dancing, which is great! The photo booth was an awesome addition to the wedding and was the best money we ever spent! Our guests had so much fun with it and we have some GREAT pictures of most of our guests. We got a TON of compliments about Mike and the music and entertainment he provided. He really took the time to make sure we were happy with everything. He even checked in on us during dinner to see if we needed anything and was willing to get us drinks from the bar! Layne was our wedding DJ and he was a perfect fit for us as a couple and for our wedding. He was professional, responsive, and flexible both with our schedule and with handling requests. Layne is tactful and not at all showy, which is exactly the type of DJ we wanted. He played all of our requested songs and kept everyone dancing while still mixing in slow songs perfectly. Mike Miller knows how to keep a party going! My husband and I have been to two weddings since ours, and we couldn't help but compare their DJs to Mike ..and they didn't even come close! Mike followed our play list, but also read the crowd and improvised with songs he knew would keep the party going. My dad left the reception with health issues before the father daughter dance, and when he came back at the end, Mike went right into the father daughter dance so that we did not miss it - it was the best father daughter dance ever! Also, we couldn't ask for a better ending to our reception - Mike played three of our favorite songs and had the whole wedding out on the dance floor! We hope to attend a wedding where Mike is DJing, as we know it will be one amazing party!

Chris from Mixed Up Productions was so energetic and fun to work with! He provided the music for both our ceremony and reception. We met with him three times before the wedding to discuss music selections and the flow of the day. In between meetings he would check in with us to make sure we stayed on track with our music selections. He was willing to offer advice on music and non-music related wedding details.
On the day of our wedding, he showed up very early to make sure everything was in order. He calmly and cheerfully helped work out glitches in the day like last minute changes in ceremony location and reception order of events. He was a calming influence for us. Even when I needed a mint he was right there with one! He went above and beyond his job that day.
Chris kept us on schedule to get things done during the reception. He played our requested songs and did an excellent job of keeping the dance floor packed until the end of the night. Our guests commented to us that he was a great DJ and we couldn’t agree more!

Mike was perfect for us. As my wife and I were choosing our DJ, we were nervous since you can't really have try-outs. We chose Mike because it seemed that he really understood what we wanted. At our reception, he rocked. The dance floor was full and we had a great time.

But even bigger than that, Mike kept the show running on time (and we were definitely doing our best to run behind schedule!) I would recommend him to anyone who wants a fun and memorable reception.

Lastly, Mike never made the night about himself. There is always a worry with DJ's that they are going to be talking, making jokes, etc. Mike was interactive with the crowd, but let the wedding be the star. He felt the crowd, saw what was working, and played the right music for us.

Mike Miller with Mixed Up Productions was GREAT!!! He had our dance floor packed the entire night. He played the music for our ceremony "dance down the aisle" and his timing was perfect! He set up our slide show and played our music just as I wanted with perfect transitions!!!! We hired Mike from Mixed Up and, from the moment of our first meeting with him, we fell in love! He was organized, professional, approachable, and knowledgable from the start, offering us advise and resources about much more than just the music. His assistance was invaluable in many aspects of our wedding planning! In correspondence, he was always quick to respond with helpful information and support. He is flexible in scheduling (we met at the radio station where he works once because it was the easiest and most convenient time/place for us).

The Mixed Up Productions online interface is FANTASTIC to use! It kept us organized and assured us that everyone was on the same page for the big day. We wished all of our vendors would have such a great tool for planning and communication.

We also got a lighting package through Mixed Up that looked beautiful! Mike and his team set it up and completely transformed the room. We were so pleased!

The day of, Mike far exceeded our expectations! Mike Miller was our DJ for our wedding on 10/23/10. He was GREAT. Not only did he play everything we requested, he also made sure to ask us before he played something that might be "questionable." He came over several times through the night to check on things and see if we needed anything. He took photos and put them together in a slideshow less than 24 hours after our wedding! We (and our guests) had a great time at our reception thanks to Mike keeping the music going all night long!

We worked with Mike Miller and Mixed Up Productions for our October 9th wedding and it was AMAZING!! Mike was great to work with and very professional during all of our interactions. He was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had. The website for Mixed Up Productions is very easy to use and made planning the details of our wedding so easy! We were able to log onto the website and add details whenever! Mike was also very flexible and allowed us to add an outdoor site for the cocktail with only a month to go!
As for our event, Mike was amazing. The music was fantastic and fit our wedding perfectly. All of our guests were dancing and having a wonderful time! Mike received many compliments throughout the night as well. He was able to keep all of our guests entertained.

WONDERFUL wonderful wonderful!!! Can't say it enough! Chris Garrett was great! We ended up extending the reception an extra hour at the very last minute, which was no problem for Chris. He rolled with it and even made an announcement right as the "last dance" was almost over, telling everyone the reception would continue and everyone was so excited. Chris also took video during the whole event and posted it within a day or two on Facebook so we could relive some of the fun right away! That was an extra touch that I really appreciated!

My husband and I were married on October 2nd at Riverdale Manor in Lancaster, and we booked Mixed-Up productions for our DJ waaaay in advance because I had heard they provided excellent DJ services (and a crappy DJ was NOT in my plans!). The reviews I had read and heard were 100% true. We worked with Mike Miller and he was great! So great actually I want to plan another event just to hire Mike again :) Since our wedding, I honestly have been talking non-stop about how wonderful all of my vendors were. I plan to review all of them on wedding wire but wanted to start with the DJ first because it is a very important part of the reception. I didn't give Mike much direction or specifics. I just told him the songs we wanted played for special dances like father-daughter, as well as the songs I did not want played, and he followed each request. The song selections throughout the night were perfect! Guests commented to me about how great the DJ was, how he kept the music going from start to finish with no breaks in the songs at all. When I booked Mixed-Up productions, I told Mike the one thing I did not want was a DJ who played one song start to finish, then went to the next song and played it start to finish; that is so boring!!! Mike understood exactly what I meant and played a fantastic MIX of all types of songs. I truly cannot say enough about this guy. He is personable and so easy to work with and gives you one less thing to worry about, which all brides know is so important b/c we have enough stuff going on :) I have told several people I work with who are getting married about Mixed-Up productions b/c I want everyone to have as great of an experience as I did at my reception. I really wish I could do my wedding over again; not to go back and fix anything but to relive how great everything was. Thank you so so so much Mike! Your DJ services were great and I really hope I will be able to work with you again!

Chris Garrett was absolutely amazing! He was very personable and easy to work with. Initially we were referred to and met with Mike, but due to a prior commitment he recommended we meet with Chris. Chris did a fantastic job, I feel he went above and beyond to see that everything ran smoothly. I REALLY appreciated the fact that he checked to see what drinks my husband and I wanted and got them on a few occasions for us. I would definitely recommend Mixed Up Productions to any future bride! Chris was so easy to work with! The online planner was also a nice perk, selecting and listening to the music online and emailing the updates automatically. Mike Miller and Mixed-up Productions were amazing. We could never have hoped for a better DJ. The website really helped them understand the kind of music we wanted, down the exact versions of songs in some cases. And when there was something special in the reception we wanted, we missed out on nothing. Every one of our guest compliment us on the music, and the DJ's ability to run the show, and keep the energy high. They were very accessible, and never left us hanging when we would contact them with questions. Overall, the value was far greater than the cost. We definitely recommend them!

Everyone I spoke with was very helpful and willing to customize the event for me. My DJ Lane did an excellent job at the reception! He had a wide variety of songs and genres and was willing to play whatever I wanted. I would definitely recommend them!

We worked with Ronnie for our wedding and he was fantastic. He did a great job of listening to and incorporating our music requests and preferences. The music for cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing all flowed seamlessly. We wanted our reception to be a party with lots of time for dancing and Ronnie helped us do just that. The music got guests of all ages dancing while still incorporating our tastes of more contemporary music. We have received many compliments on how much fun our wedding was and we definitely have Ronnie to thank for keeping our party going!

We hired Chris Garrett from Mixedup Productions for my daughter's wedding on 7/3/10. Our location was at Riverdale Manor and he setup inside and outside. He

Chris was an awesome DJ to work with. Jimmy and I knew from the first meeting we had with Mike and Chris that we wouldn't have any worries on our wedding day. We met a few time with Chris before the wedding, he had great ideas and helped make our day perfect! When our wedding day came, Chris did more than I ever would have imagined from a DJ. He checked up on Jimmy and I throughout the day after he set up early to make sure we were okay. The dance floor was packed and he was able to please the crowd. My Dj was Ronnie, and he was great! We met up a couple times with both Mike and Ronnie, and they are both very nice guys. They had a ton of ideas and seemed to really know what they're talking about! We discussed a few things that never actually happened at the wedding (like the "kissing game") but that's all right. The reception was a whirlwind anyways! But he always kept the dance floor full and played everything we requested. What more could you want =)

DJ Mike Miller was great. Everything from the setup, music during the ceremony to the music at the reception. The music selection was great and up to date. All ages of guest were on the dance floor all night. The professionalism and flexibility of Mike was amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better person and company to DJ our biggest day. I really can't say enough about Mike Miller and Mixed up productions. With meeting with him, he was so pleasant to work with and understood our needs completely. He was an enormous help to us on the day of the wedding. Nothing was practiced, it was kind of all on the fly and Mike ran the show completely. As a bride, I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. The best thing about Mike is that I felt like he really wanted to be there. He took requests, talked with guests, and kept the party going. Even my grandparents were dancing at the end of the night. When we started planning our wedding we wanted to mix the reception up a little bit. Keep some of the traditional things but mix in some fresh ideas. After sitting down with Mike, my wife and I were sold. Everyone that we have talked to since the wedding mentions how great the DJ was. Not only did he DJ our reception but he also did the service. Thanks again for all you did to make our wedding day so great. I know Chelle sent you a thank you card (and letter) but when we found out we could rate you as a DJ, we had to let other people know what a great job you did!

We've both been to other weddings and parties that you've DJ'd and we agreed right from the start we weren't even going to bother with interviewing any other DJ's. You didn't let us down, you had everything set up well in advance -- although I came to find out later the freight elevator was broken at our reception hall you still had time to get all your equipment (including the light show) upstairs and set up in time.

It was a hectic day, for both of us, but you were easy to work with and totally professional the whole time. You announced all the entrances right on time and just how we wanted them read. You played all the right music for each couple that entered the reception and were one of the only services we didn't have trouble with during our planning and preparation.

We had a lot of friends and family getting married around the same time and everybody agreed you were the best at keeping the dance floor full and keeping everything moving through the reception. You set the highest standards for being professional and fun. Its clear you love what you do and are great at it.

Thanks again for all you did and to everybody reading this; don't wait to book the DJ. We booked Mike shortly after reserving the reception hall because we didn't want to take a chance that he'd be booked at another party.

Chris Garret was our DJ. We had a unique request of Mixed-Up Productions as we wanted to share our love of Rock Band with our guests. Chris worked closely with us to make this happen. It turned out great. We loved performing for our guests and between Rock Band sets Chris kept the party going. We would definatly recommend Mixed-Up Productions.

I thought the price was very reasonable and our dj did a wonderful job for just getting over mono! I would recommend him to anyone and I would definitely use him in future events!

Mike did an amazing job with our wedding. He was very flexible with our schedule when we were forced to push the start time back by 15 minutes. He kept a high energy level at the event, his playlist was absolutely to our tastes, and he even taught a dance to our guests.

We hired Mike of Mixed Up Productions well in advance for our wedding on March 31st. Let me just start by saying- just go ahead and book him now. Stop researching. Your search is done. We planned our wedding from New York, and being from New York myself I was really nervous about the whole DJ situation. I noticed early on that wedding styles are a little different in New York than PA, and I was worried about the party aspect of the day not living up to my friends & family's expectations. But, honestly, as soon as we met Mike we knew his personality/DJ style was perfect for our wedding. We did a choreographed dance for our first dance, and Mike mixed the song exactly how we wanted it. It really was a hit. EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE, was on the dance floor throughout the night. There were no lulls or boring moments. He played every single song we requested (and if he didn't all the music was so good that I didn't notice) and it all flowed together perfectly with the rest of the playlist. Shockingly, he even figured out the name of a random old hip-hop song that my best friend and I can NEVER remember the name of and requested. Usually people just look at us cross-eyed when we request it at bars, but he knew what we meant and actually had the song (so that's ten points in my book). Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had at our wedding and how great the music selection was!

One of the most important thing for us was to have a wedding that people would look back on and remember how much fun it was. Mixed - Up Productions made this happen. They got everyone on the dance floor and they knew how to keep them on there! People still tell us how much fun our wedding was and how packed the dancefloor was!

We hired Chris Garret from Mixed Up and everyone at the wedding had a ball! He kept the night flowing smoothly and has such a great personality! At the end of the day, the music really made the night so much fun!

Ron was our DJ and was a HUGE part of our day. The feature that Mixed Up Productions have on their website that allows you to build your play list of "must have" music and "do not plays" is fantastic. It allowed us to take all the time we needed ahead of time to choose the songs we wanted to include on our day and change our mind as often as we needed to! Even up until the day of the wedding, when I decided I wanted a different song, I didn't even know if Ron got my email, but he played the song exactly when I wanted it, such great service :-) It also meant that when we were meeting all the vendors in the weeks prior to the day we only had to do fine tuning for the music, which was a relief with everything else we had to plan and organize.

We also had Ron provide background music for our ceremony. He did a great job and used the exact versions of the songs we asked for, even if they did not have them in their typical song list they managed to get them for us.

Ron kept everything moving during the reception, he did a great job of our introductions and a great edit of the song we wanted for when we walked into the reception. It was so smooth on the day, the service was great, I was very happy with our DJ and the company overall, I would highly recommend their services to anyone.

The music and lights were good... The DJ we had was ok but he kept forgetting to announce things... We had to remind him about the toast and about the centerpiece game that was supposed to be done at dinner and wasn't done til way later and some people had already left. Overall we had a good time dancing but not all of our music selections were played and song that we were requesting were not played either... But overall I think everyone had a good time despite the little mishaps.

Chris Garrett was the DJ for my wedding and he was great! He went above and beyond what I expected a DJ to do before the wedding. We met 3 times before the wedding and he was very helpful. He actually helped my husband and I to pick out our wedding song since we were having trouble narrowing it down. We really enjoyed Bob Hauer as our DJ. He was very professional and kept the night moving along very smoothly. We also loved the photobooth and had many compliments on it.
