Joey was an absolutely AMAZING DJ. Flexible, professional, responsive -- and most importantly, him and his team provided the BEATS that kept our wedding going through the night. Everyone at the wedding had a blast.

I interviewed more than 13 DJs, and I loved Joey because of his down-to-earth personality (no marketing hype). He truly loves DJing and making brides and grooms happy on their special DJ.

Joey and Randy are amazing. There is no way we could have done this without them. Joey met with us and walked us through a typical wedding and made adjustments to fit our event. They really hosted the entire thing since we did not have a wedding planner.

Joey was an awesome DJ to work with. Before meeting Joey, my wife and I were lost with what type of music to play at our wedding. After several failed attempts to contact other DJ's we were introduced to Joey from Mixterious force. Not only is he a cool DJ, he is also a fire fighter that saves lives during the day. He gave us a time line that we were able to work with and everything flowed smoothly.

Joey was a pleasure to work with . . . he meet with us at least 3 times prior to our wedding to discuss songs, time line, and details regarding our reception. He was also willing to meet with us at the venue on an evening before the wedding to discuss lighting as well as to test a projection of a lighted wedding logo.
On the day of the reception, Joey and Randy worked together: Joey was the emcee will Randy did the DJing. Joey did a great job emceeing and Randy played many of the songs we listed. They also played songs that our guests requested.

Joey and Randy of Mixterious Force DJ are amazing! Joey was the first DJ we met up with and we automatically wanted to hire him, but thought that we should check out other DJs first. After doing so, we knew we wanted to book them for our wedding. Joey was very friendly, responsible, and organized. If you don't hire a wedding coordinator, he will help with that as well. We hired our own coordinator, and he worked well with her and her team. Joey listened to what we wanted and gave us good advice with how to schedule the ceremony and reception so everything flowed smoothly.

He did his best to serve us and help us have the best experience possible at our wedding. He didn't overlook the minor details, like how to pronounce our friends' and family members' names during the reception. And, when the unexpected things came up, which will happen at weddings, he was flexible and did an awesome job trying to remedy the situation.

When we finally got to the open dancing portion of the reception, he got us out of our seats and onto the dance floor! We had so much fun dancing the night away! His lights are sweet and their overall set up was really nice and classy looking. We definitely thought we got a deal booking Mixterious Force! Thanks, Joey and Randy, for your amazing work!! =)

My wedding on July 9th was perfect and Joey was a huge contributor to that! He was polite, professional, organized and very affordable. I didnt have a planner so he pretty much helped me with planning when things would happen and the flow for the day. On the day of he was very polite when telling me that I was running behind but ultimately let me make the decision to move things along or if I wanted more time to socialize. All throughout the day people were telling me that he was great, which was nice because it kept the party going. I would definitely recommend him to anybody who is looking for am amazing DJ :)

Joey Inez and Mixterious DJ made our wedding incredible! From the day I called him the first time to the end of the wedding reception, I was extremely happy. I could not ask for a better DJ and more! He talked with everyone beforehand and prepared perfectly and the music fit our family and friends so well--I got many compliments about him the entire evening. I had no worries of anyone not dancing or feeling bored...he kept the party alive from before the guests arrived until the last one left. He was incredibly flexible with his schedule and always responded to my calls or emails promptly. He was extremely fair in pricing and really made our day special. I felt he was doing the part of a wedding day coordinator as well which made the pressure of the beginning a lot easier. I could not recommend him enough...he was absolutely the best DJ to have at my special event. Any special event I have in the future, I will be using Mixterious DJ.

Mixterious Force was just awesome. We don't know what we would have done without Joey. One of the most difficult thing about wedding planning is working with vendors, but Joey was the one who was keeping us on track, not the other way around. He is super reliable, organized, and experienced. He provided great recommendations, helped us put together an agenda/timeline for the day of events, and was very responsive to all our requests. On the day of our wedding, he kept us on schedule and really just ran the show for us, which was great because it allowed us to enjoy our reception without worrying about the schedule. Randy, also did an awesome job with the music and transitioning. The both of them truly work well together. They are passionate about what they do, and it really shows. They did an awesome job at our wedding and we highly recommend them.

Joey and Randy were great! We met with Joey a couple times before the wedding and he already had a timeline for our wedding and helped us with our music selection. They both were very prepared, came to the rehearsal, and set up 3 hours before the wedding. When our wedding was delayed because of traffic they were super flexible with changing around the timeline. Joey was more not only a great DJ but also a great day of coordinator. He helped make the wedding and reception a big hit with all our friends and family.

Nick and I really enjoyed working with Joey, not only did he go way above and beyond our expectations before the wedding. The day of the wedding went so smoothly thanks to Joey and his team guy that we just took his lead. The music and lights were excellent! Everyone said they had such a great time!

This was probably some of the best money spent for the service rendered. Joey and Randy made sure our day was seamless and smooth. I could contact Joey and recieve a response the same day if not the next. WE had so many complements on the music and everyone was having fun dancing to the hits. I would HIGHLY recommend Mixterious Force!! Seriously, you will not be disappointed. I lived out of state and when I was in town Joey took the time to meet with me, and Randy even came to the rehearsal so that they could map everything out before the big day. I could go on and on, but these guys are your guys when it comes to DJ service!!

Joey was a pleasure to work with. Real nice and real professional guy. He is a fireman during his day job so he mc's with his friend and randy dj's during the weekend so there not just out to hustle people for the money. They are really good for the price and come up with an itinierary for the day so u don't have to worry about anything. they get everyone out on the dance floor. And they even have this nice lighting of the dance floor for free. Joey is really organized and a good guy. A highly recommend mixterious Force especially for what there worth. Lots of people pay a lot more, i know many brides who do and frankly our dj/mc was better.

Hiring Joey Inez of Mixterious Force was one of the best decisions I made when it came to wedding planning. For our fall 2010 wedding, he was only $1050 (before tip) for 8 hours with a $100 deposit. He's very experienced, professional, calm, cool, and organized. He came highly recommended to us, as he has been DJing at our venue (Clarke Estate) for over 10 years now. His day job is a firefighter, so unlike many other DJs, he's not trying to make a living off of it, so he doesn't charge exorbitant prices. We met multiple times to go over our wedding timeline and music selection. I had a very specific play-list and he and his partner Randy stayed true to the list the entire day. Our dance floor was never empty! I was especially pleased with Joey's MC skills throughout the ceremony and reception. He is the complete opposite of those cheesy and embarrassing DJs that you see at other weddings. He was polite, professional, and very approachable! He also made sure that we followed our wedding time line as we had a packed schedule. He made such a great impression at our wedding that my friends immediately hired Mixterious Force for their spring 2011 wedding.

Wedding DJs are a dime a dozen, so I highly recommend you do your research carefully. If you're looking for the qualities that I listed above, Mixterious Force is the best vendor for you!

Joey at Mixterious Force DJ's was by far our favorite vendor to work with. He was always on time for meetings, was the very first person there at the wedding to get everything all set up, and on top of that made the wedding and awesome and fun environment the entire night. Not only does Joey do the DJ work with his partner, but he also helped set up and make sure all the events throughout the night were on time.

He met with three different times to get all of the details down perfectly. This included the entire progression of the night, types of songs to play, and when, where, and how people would speak and be introduced. Joey gives you far more than just his DJ ability on the night of the wedding, and because of that there is absolutely no other choice than to choose his services for your wedding.

Not only was everything on the day of the wedding amazing, but his communication skills were excellent as well. He would reply very quickly to some of our concerns, and a few times the replies were even instant. He definitely took care and concern to make the night turn into something we had always dreamed about.

I think the best part is the value for the cost we paid for his services. We paid a total of $1050 for all of this. Not only is he the best DJ I have ever worked with, but what you get for the price is incredible. I try to find deals with nearly everything I purchase, and going with Joey is probably one of the best deals I've ever found. I brag to my married friends about the cost because they paid nearly double and triple for nowhere near the experience Joey gave us.

We booked about 8 months in advance and I remember him showing he the stack of requests that he received in just a month’s time. If you do one thing, just go with Joey and Mixterious Force DJ's. It will save you a lot of time looking around, and none of those other Dj's are going to give you the experience that Joey and his partner will give you on the day of your wedding. You definitely will not be disappointed!

Joey is an amazing DJ. He is so much more than a guy who plays your music, he should call himself a wedding coordinator. From the moment I spoke with Joey I knew he was the guy I wanted! I lived out of town and he was very flexible with our meetings. He sets down and gives you an agenda and finds out what you want musically and ceremonially. With Joey you need not worry about anything on your wedding day. He keeps everything flowing, and on our special day he kept it going and everyone had a blast. His new light equipment was fabulous and on top of that he played music that was right on to my families style. My photographer even complemented him on how he has never seen a DJ go above and beyond his music duties. My husband and I highly recommend using him, and appreciate having such a great DJ service. You pick mixterious force you will not be let down!!

I just have to say that I LOVE these guys. Joey is awesome! Everything that the other reviews stated is definitely what you expect from these guys. I hired Joey weeks before my wedding (because I had to plan the wedding in 5 weeks). Everything went flawless. Joey provided me with a template agenda ahead of time that helped me to schedule the night. It was super helpful since I didn't have any of that figured out yet. Joey totally kept everything on track that day. I didn't even need a coordinator once the reception started. They were also flexible with the music and were able to change things up at the last minute when requested.

Overall, I would highly recommend them. They are NOT super pricey either and are definitely worth more than I paid.

Joey Inez and his assistant were great! Brides, not just great....he is everything you could ask for: Professional, understanding, caring, great for the price which is flexible. Joey was also like my personal wedding planner too, he wanted to be involved, prepared and ready for my big day to make sure i had the best time possible and had no stress for the day. He came to the rehearsal to check out the venue, which was at the Mission Inn in Riverside. Joey made the wedding day flow so smoothly, he was there to guide my groom and I into all the new phases of the wedding day and it ran perfectly. The music was great and i gave him a list of songs i wanted and he played them at the perfect time and my guests were dancing all night long! The music was so good I wanted to dance so bad, but was too busy doing wedding stuff and entertaining my guests hehe :) He has a great personality and he was very accomodating to my faimly and guests, he is a great DJ on the mic too. We didn't decide to hire a DJ until 2 months before the wedding. We were referred to Joey by another PW bride. When I first talked to Joey, he put me at ease and I had a feeling that he will be perfect for my wedding.

Joey met with us a couple times before the wedding, helped us with the wedding day agenda. He let us pick the songs and gave us suggestions, he really listened to us without forcing his ideas.

Joey and Randy showed up early on the wedding day to setup, they worked with the venue and I didn't have to worry about anything but to walk out when the ceremony started.

The reception was awesome. The music was very appropriate for the cocktail hour and dinner. When we opened up the dance floor, everyone got comfortable and started dancing. The guests had a great time dancing and socializing. We received so many compliments on the music.

Joey and Randy were great, they were a perfect fit for my wedding. I will refer them to anyone who is in need of a DJ, you will not be disappoint.

Music was such an important element for me and the hubby. We could have done an ipod wedding like some that we had attended but it was so important for us to have everyone have a great time and sometimes that just isnt the case with "ipod weddings." We both love music so much and bit the bullet in search of a great DJ. We wanted someone that feel the vibe of the crowd and adjust as needed. Again, cant do that with the ipod wedding.

Mixterious Force is actually a two man team. Joey (whom i had most communication with) does the MCing and Randy is the music man. I cannot thank them both enough for giving us the greatest gift of all, which was fantastic music for our friends and family to enjoy. SO many of our friends and family raved about Joey and Randy! They were fantastic in every way.

They played all of the music we requested and then some - unlike some DJs who forget that its about the bride and the groom. My hubby is super picky with music and always has something to say about something but even he couldnt with this DJ. They were that good. My DOC was so sub-par and honestly without them, our reception would have been a disaster!

I cant thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat. We communicated mostly via email and phone since I was planning the wedding from the bay area. We actually didnt meet until 2-3 days before the actual wedding. Despite this however, they were prompt with responses and worked with us to figure out a reception schedule. Flexible and knowledgeable! We fell behind schedule but they were able to get us back on track without skipping a beat.

They were affordable too and should be charging way more than they are. I have friends and family requesting the play list from the wedding! LOL.

If music is as important to you as it was for us, hire them! You won't be disappointed!!

From beginning to end Joey was great to deal with. He helped us with a time line, music selection and whatever else we needed as far as his services were concerned. Very friendly and easy to deal with. The day of the wedding he kept us and our other vendors up to date with events and times. Randy and him were awesome djs. The music was great, guests commented on how great the music was all night. The dance floor was never empty and the music fit the various tastes.

Due to sound restrictions, we had to use a dj from the venue's pre-approved list. After talking to many cheesy DJs that were asking quite a bit, my husband finally found Joey. He was everything we wanted in a DJ/MC and more. He is laid back, organized, and completely respects your specific desires. He went over and beyond in setting up for three different areas - ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. as an MC, he was not cheesy at all, only announced the things we asked him to, and made sure he was on the same page as the other vendors involved in each event he announced to insure smooth flow. As a DJ, he stuck to our lists, edited our long lists down very nicely, did a great job mixing (no awkward transitions or silences between songs - a peeve of my husband's, who used to spin), and also did a good job reading the crowd and adjusting as needed. An added bonus was that for some of our more obscure, older hip hop, he was even able to dig records out and actually use them as he has both CD and vinyl turntables. Many guests complimented both his MC and DJ skills, and a friend in attendance who had recently gotten married even commented that she wished she had hired him instead.

Joey Inez is a great DJ, lots of fun and always professional. He will put a timeline together for you and keep your event running all night. Joey is on our required DJ list here at the Estate and it is always a pleasure to work with him.
