Modern Bridal Faires

This show rocked. I wasn't sure if a bridal show was my speed, but it really helped me figure out my style and what was really important for my tables and reception. I found my caterer there and also, my ceremony quartet. I am going to go again in January at the Claremont and bring my mom this time so she can feel a part of it too. www.modernbridal.com

I attended this bridal faire at the Pleasanton Hilton on August 2. From the reviews at the Ritz Carlton I think Modern Bridal spends more time and attention on that faire because they did not do a good job at putting this one together. There was no champagne or appetizers as advertised. The vendors were in this small room that made it hard to walk around. What really bothered us was the fact that they had the fashion show in another small room and they didn't have enough chairs for everyone and they didn't allow for standing in the back or even on the side. It was not well thought out and we were really disappointed with this faire.

The two ladies at this shop were great help. Instead of the typical size 2 sample they had a variety of sizes. The diversity in their dresses is fantastic and their prices are all reasonable. I have tried on my dress at least a dozen times (all of my family/attendants are from out of town) and they always give me the same great service whether it was the first time I tried it on, when I bought it, or coming back to visit my dress again.

We highly recommend the bridal fair put on by these folks in SF. We found a great band there and also found our videographer and DJ. Free appetizers and champagne, we won a free engagement setting too. Spent the afternoon listening to the live music. We went to one on the peninsula put on by another company that was a waste of time. This one was really good. Great start to a year worth of planning.

I went to show last month. not worth my time. Vendors were very low end. Totally worthless.

Great fashion shows, fun samples, I found my florist there, highly recommend this bridal fair company--they made the ideas I've seen in magazinescome alive for me. I'm a visual person, and the fair helped me alot.

I went to one of their events this past weekend at the Ritz Carlton and it was really great. I found my caterer and my photographer there. Saved me time, had some free champagne and appetizers, and had a great time. Put my soon to be husband in the wedding mood too!

The is one of the biggest bridal shows in the Bay Area, but I would only rate it as OK. I got to talk to a few vendors there but ended up selecting most of my vendors by using project-wedding and through friend's recommendation.

It was easy to get lost in the fury of all of the booths! It was good to get ideas though. Maybe I'm just not a bridal show type of bride.

Best bridal show ever! Ritz carlton was amazing!
