A Modern Face did an amazing job with me and all of my girls. We had a very dysfunctional morning and Anjelica was really professional and stayed longer than asked to complete my make up. I thank her and I would recommend her to any person who is looking for amazing make up for any function!!!

Anjelica was fantastic from the very beginning. I had a disastrous trial at a beauty salon and knew that I had to find someone that really knew what they were doing and that's how I found Anjelica. I contacted her a mere month before the wedding and she was able to take on the wedding because she is the ultimate professional. She came to the house at 7 in the morning. All the girls in my bridal party that had makeup done by Anjelica looked amazing. She was prompt in her communication, from email, to phone, to text. She truly cares about brides and that they feel beautiful on their wedding day. It was amazing working with her and I knew that I would look my best because that is Anjelica's top priority in her work. Thank you so very much Anjelica!

Anjelica was absolutely wonderful to work with. First of all, I loved that she was so responsive and easy to get a hold of. For the trial, she did my makeup along with my mom and two sisters. I wasn't too sure about my eye makeup and so I texted her and we discussed some other options. I made another appointment with her that week and she redid my eye makeup which I loved. The day of the wedding, she got through me, my mom, and 4 bridesmaids in a breeze. The makeup looked great on everyone. I'm still waiting for my professional pictures but there is not a doubt in mind that the makeup looks flawless in the pictures. I recommend her to anyone that has an upcoming wedding. Working with Anjelica was a pleasure! She was extremely creative, flexible, and talented. I wanted a very natural look, and she works well with this aesthetic. She only uses products that are safe for sensitive skin, like mine, and she works with airbrush makeup that stands up through extremely hot weather! I had my trial at her house, and she was easy to talk to and helped to make the process fun. On the day of the wedding, the airbrush machine was malfunctioning, and Anjelica was a champ! She ran out to buy a new system and finished the day strong, completing makeup for over seven of us! I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a natural, affordable, lasting, and classic look on their wedding day.

Anjelica immediately puts you at ease and makes it a priority to get to know you to get a feel for the look you're after for your special day. She doesn't hesitate to offer her professional opinion in an appropriate way to help you achieve an even better version of you (note - you, not some other woman that your friends & family won't recognize). She was totally fine taking feedback from me and my mom for changes, took copious notes during our trial to help ensure she was able to repeat the look the day of. Anjelica was great to work with and her skills were amazing. I loved my make-up and the rest of my party looked wonderful too!

I used A Modern Face for my wedding in October 2011, Trash the Dress session in November 2011, and my Bump pictures in August 2012. Anjelica did an AMAZING job with everything and was very friendly and professional. I even used my trial for the wedding the night of the bachelorette party to test the durability of the makeup. It stayed on all night and didn't even smudge or come off! Also it was 84 degrees the day of the wedding and again the makeup didn't budge. It looked fabulous from the time it was done until I took it off. I would recommend A Modern Face to everyone who wants a flawless and beautiful face for their special event:)

I spoke with a Myriad of Make up artists and I was very frustrated! Either the prices were ridiculous or the were not able to give me the look I wanted on my wedding day!!!!
When I thought that I would not find I was looking for in a makeup artist that is when I got a response from Anjelica !

I was skeptical at first because My mother is puerto rican and my father is black so my skin tone is a combination of a unique color I knew it would be a challenge for her besides that, I am very picky with my makeup. I have been everywhere from Ulta, Lancome, Fashion Fair To Mac and I have not been completely satisified!

I wanted airbrush makeup for my wedding day and that was important to me. I met with Anjelica for my Trial Run and I was blown away she did not get offended when I did not like the first run she did on my face. The colors were wrong and I did not like how my eyes looked she took everything off NEVER ONCE did she complain or get offended she tried something different and it was Breath Taking!!!!!!!!!!

My wedding day she duplicated the same look she arrived at 9am on the DOT she finished my makeup and I almost cried I looked flawless...

And get this before she left the Bridal Suite she gave me a sample of the lip gloss I was wearing + an applicator to touch up my lips all day!

I hired Anjelica to provide airbrush makeup for me, my bridesmaids and my mother. She did such an amazing job! Before arriving onsite to our wedding site to do our makeup at our wedding location at Sandcreek Country Club in Chesterton, IN, on Aug. 29, we scheduled a trial session in her home. I was very specific about the look I wanted and Anjelica was completely on target about the look. She went above and beyond my expectations. When I looked in the mirror, I felt so beautiful and amazing! I honestly felt like a movie star! At the time, I did not have a hairstylist, but she recommended someone who did an absolutely and equal fantastic job. When they arrived to do our makeup on the day of our wedding, Anjelica and the hairstylist she recommended arrived on time and made every singe one of us feel like movie stars. I have never felt so beautiful in my life. My wedding party feels the same way. I absolutely would love for Anjelica and her friend Corrine to be my ongoing stylists moving forward. I know all my friends and mother feel the same way. If you live in NW, Indiana or Chicago, do not look elsewhere, Anjelica is by far the most affordable, the most talented, and the easiest makeup artist to get along with in the area. Trust me, I contacted several airbrush artists and hairstylist in Indiana and Chicago, and so many of them were pretentious and way overpriced. Anjelica did my make up and all of my bridesmaids and the mother of the bride and groom! Everyoone looked amazing! My pictures were so amazing (in large part due to my make up) my vendor is using them for their ads! Anjelica is extremely talented, incredibly personable, and made my wedding just perfect!

I searched around for a makeup artist in my area who would travel to me on my wedding day. I got in touch with a few, but I felt their prices of $155 and up were just too expesive. Others said "$50 for a trial and $75-$100 or more for the day of"...What does that even mean?! I need a SET PRICE ahead of time! Not a surprise amount due when i got the bill...When I found Anjelica's website, I was THRILLED to see her prices were not only set, but they were cheaper AND she airbrushed!

I got my trial and my wedding day makeup done for one awesome price. No
run-around about it. She even had her own line of products for anyone to purchase (like lip gloss and such) so we would have that for touch-ups after food or drinking. I thought that was really cool. She gave me a group discount for my bridal party too! I had 4 others and myself who all planned to get their makeup done.

However, the day of the wedding, 4 more of the girls (including my mom) had a last-minute decision to get theirs done. It was obvious after they saw how great she was, they were sold. Anjelica was so professional and calm about the last minute added work. We looked perfect for the day. Don't ask me how she did it, but she finished all 9 of faces in less than 3 hours!

To top it all off, my makeup lasted ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT! The only thing I had to touch-up was my lip gloss...and yes, I bought it from Anjelica for only $7.00. It was a very wonderful experience. I would (and have) HIGHLY recommend her to anyone that's in need of a makeup artist for any reason. Trust me, you won't regret it!!!

Angelica does an amazing job with colors. She has this amazing talent to brighten up anyone's eyes. I love that she is fun, and honest. I would definately hire her again and again.
