Q: Does somebody spray the tan on me?

A: Absolutely, it is a custom airbrush tan done by a trained professional. We customize your tan based on your hair color, eye color and skin tone. We do not have spray booths or tanning beds at our salon. We are an all-natural, non-toxic, anti-aging tanning salon.



Q: What do I wear during and after my appointment?

A: We provide disposable bras, hair nets, bikini underwear for women and briefs for men. If you prefer you can were your own. Bring or wear lose dark clothing for after your appointment. See preparation and aftercare page for more information prior to your appointment.



Q: Does the solution have an unpleasant smell?

A: Some do, but the Infinity Sun bronzer solution is odorless and the anti-age treatment is infused with fruit extracts, giving it a very pleasant smell.



Q: Will I turn orange?

A: No, our trained professionals will help you choose the level that is right for your skin tone, hair and eye color. Those who do fade to an orange undertone were sprayed too dark for their skin tone. Modish offers three different levels; light, medium and dark, offering clients a natural golden-brown glow for all skin tones.



Q: How long will the tan last?

A: Depending on how well you prepare, and take care of your spray tan afterwards, about 10-14 days. Q: I have fake nails, will they be stained?



A: No, Modish uses the best all natural non-toxic bronzer solution, it will not stain fingernails, toenails or any type of gel/acrylic nails.

Q: What if I have fair skin that has never been able to tan? A: This is exactly why the spray tanning process was designed in the first place, for people that could not tan by any other method! Our product gives those who tan easily and those who don't tan a fantastic sun-kissed color.



Q: Is there anything I can do to assure that I get the best results from my spray tan?

A: Absolutely. One of the most important things that you must do is to thoroughly exfoliate before spray tanning. The shallower the dead skin layer on the surface of your skin, the more time it will take for this layer to build up before it starts rubbing off. That means the better the exfoliation, the more even your tan will be throughout its life and the longer it will last. Of course it is just as vital to moisturize every day after spray tanning to keep your skin from drying out and exfoliating prematurely. See Sunless Tan Process page for preparation and aftercare.

A: Modish Airbrush only uses Infinity Sun™ All-Natural and Non-Toxic products Normalize Treatment A fine blend of exotic aloes which assists in hydrating porous areas of the body. This product enables the sunless tanning solution to penetrate uniformly into the skin, resulting in a longer-lasting, more even sunless tan. Bronze Tanning Solution An all-natural, anti-aging sunless tanner made with antioxidants and pure botanicals, leaving the skin radiant with a natural-looking, golden brown glow. Containing a cosmetic bronzer derived from walnut extracts, our bronzing solution delivers immediate results and continues to develop for 12 hours. Key ingredients *Dihydroxyacetone, *Erythrulose, *Galactoarabinan, and *Hydrolyzed Soy Protein Anti-age Treatment A skin rejuvenating treatment made with exotic plant extracts antioxidants and botanicals to uncover the skin's natural radiance. This treatment is ideal for use after sunless tanning sessions. Key ingredients *Galactoarabina and * Hydrolyzed Soy Protein Shimmer Hydration Treatment An exclusive blend of shimmering radiance infused with emollients and humectants which serve to soften the skin while delivering a delightful glowing effect. This product contains a small amount of DHA, which enhances the tan when left on for 12 hours. The shimmering effect will wash off with the first shower.



Q: How do I get tan from your product?

A: Key ingredients: *Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) is currently the most popular way of gaining a tan-like appearance without sun exposure as it carries less health risks than any of the other available methods. To date, it is the only active ingredient approved by the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for sunless tanning. All effective sunless tanners contain DHA. It is a colorless 3-carbon sugar that when applied to the skin causes a chemical reaction with amino acids in the surface cells of the skin producing a darkening effect DHA does not damage skin as it only affects the outermost cells of the epidermis. *Erythrulose provides a natural more authentic tan that lasts longer. Erythrulose combined with DHA: improves key properties of self-tanning products like less streaking, more natural color, and it avoids dryness and irritation of the skin. Erythrulose leads to a permanent tanning effect – it will only be removed by the natural exfoliation process of the skin.



Q: What are the anti-age ingredients in your product?

A: Key ingredients: *Galactoarabinan reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as a stand-alone. Galactorabinan is a primary cell exfoliation, reduces water loss which helps the skin retain more moisture. It also enriches skin's feel and provides film forming and skin tightening yielding an instant skin radiance effect. *Hydrolyzed soy protein is one of the best skin care products available in the market. This cosmetic product offers the benefit of moisture retention; it is therefore, possible to overcome the problem of wrinkles with the usage of this product.
