Chris Dao Photography - Moments of Memories

I was thoroughly impressed with the photography by Moments of Memories. Chris and his team did my engagement photos at Pebble Beach and they came out so beautiful! I couldn't have been more pleased. Chris helped to prepare us before the shoot by giving us ideas for props to bring, colors to where, etc. On the day of the shoot, his team of three spent several hours with us making sure that our poses were just right and creating the perfect lighting and backgrounds.

I was even more impressed by the professionalism and dedication of the Moments of Memories team on my wedding day. The photographers visited the sites with us before the actual wedding day, and when our wedding day arrived, both my husband and myself had a photographer with us for almost the entire day! Chris came to the salon, where me and my bridesmaids got ready, and then to the hotel, and stayed with us for the duration of the day. He had another photographer with my husband and the guys as they got ready too, so we did not miss a single moment or memory.

At the ceremony and reception Chris, Nat and Christina were all amazing! I seriously felt like a celebrity with paparazzi around! They caught every single moment, but in a completely passive and non intrusive way.

Our wedding photos came out absolutely beautiful - better than I ever could have imagined. Chris put them online within 4 weeks and provided me with a digital copy as well. Later he made me an album, which he did all of the design and layout for. I was so impressed and I get so many compliments on.

After my wedding, I refereed Moments of Memories to another couple who were also getting married. They too, were thoroughly impressed and happy with the work that was done.

I highly recommend Moments of Memories for weddings, engagement photos, or anything that you want to have spectacular pictures for. Their pricing is competitive, they are professional, and the attention to detail cannot be beat!

Moments of Memories has truly helped make beautiful memories of our wedding. Chris is a pleasure to work with. He is very receptive to styles/poses/visuals that we wanted for our Wedding Engagement shoot and our Wedding Day photos. He demonstrated a passion for photography and showed us how committed he was to producing a TRULY memorable event for us.

He researched the locations of our Engagement shoot weeks before the shoot to get just the right lighting and poses. He scouted the church location and banquet location weeks before to know where to stand and how to be unobtrusive during the event.

Even before signing the very easy to understand contract, Chris and his wonderful and beautiful assistant (Christine) came to our house all the way from San Jose to Richmond to meet us and scout our house as we were having a traditional Vietnamese wedding. Chris' committment to beautiful photography and creating moments of endless memories is definitely characteristic of his work ethic.

chris is very committed to his work so working around the contract was NOT a problem at all. As budget was something very important to us, Chris was very understanding and worked with us to get everything we needed and prioritized our event.

On the Wedding day, Chris and his 2 assistants and 1 additional photographer were very professional. Being unobtrusive when needed and jumping in to give direction when required. Professionally they were superb. Personally, Chris was very easy to work with. He communicated clearly what kinds of photos he wanted to take and listened to what we wanted to do.

After receiving full payment, Chris did not let down his enthusiasm or duty to his clients. He was meticulus in designing the albums and dvd's for us. Chris went above and beyond weeks after the wedding to make sure we got all the photos we needed and personally delivered our album to my work place. You can't buy that sort of dedication to work.

I know this is a very long review but Chris Dao deserves all the recognition his work has brought to us. On a personal level, he knows a ton of places to hang out ^_^ so knowing him as a person was well worth this once in a life time meet.

I recommend Moments of Memories in a heart beat for those who are on a tight budget, looking for a very easy going, professional, committed and talented photographer and artist. If anything, give Chris a call first...that's all it really takes.
