Mon Amie Bridal Salon

I am the biggest nerd and waited way too long to find my dress! I went from stressing over finding my dress to absolutely panicking over not finding one and waiting until the last minute! Luckily, I went to Mon Amie. Their selection was by far better than I imagined. The consultants were extremely helpful and not pushy at all. I was able to order my gown with time to spare. The alterations were basic but sewn perfectly. Best of all, I was able to fall in love (I cried) with the dress of my dreams!

The most amazing experience ever. My fiance and I stood in line over night during Mon Amie Military bride dress give away. Everyone was so nice and all the consultants volunteered their time to come in and work. It was perfect in every way and their dress selection was huge. Not only did they give away free dresses but free veils too!

I did not get my alterations done here however as I heard they were expensive.

Fabulous!!! that’s all I can say. Belle was my consultant and Sonia did my alterations. I felt like they were both a part of my wedding and couldn’t be happier with the experience they gave me. I had a Amsale Dress on hold at Sacks and was going to but it after I checked out “one more store” with my mom and MIL. I am so glad that I made the trip over to Mon Amie. They gave me a great price on a trunk sale and did an amazing custom alteration job on my Augusta Jones dress. I was 100% satisfied with my purchase and experience. My wedding date was also moved up by 3 months and they were able to get my dress early from the designer and had the alterations done in 1 month with no extra charge. The altertations ended up being about $300 less that what they had originally quoted me.

Mon Amie is unrivaled by any other bridal salon. Their professionalism and quality, both of product and service, is unparalled. The immense selecion of dresses is sure to include whatever style, color, designer, genre, and price you are searching for. Their boutique makes planning even more convenient by having bridesmaid dresses, flower girl dresses, mother of the bride dresses, shoes, head pieces, jewelry and all other accessories in the same vast array for your choosing. I loved having all my alterations done on site, and knowing that my dress and veil would be pressed, perfect and ready for me the day of the wedding. I could not have had a better experience.

I found Mon Amie to have a large selection of gowns and accessories. I really enjoyed that the store was divided into three sections based on price. This way I didn't try on a gown that was out if my price range. I found the most beautiful gown and then met a jewelry designer during a trunk show and had all my jewelry custom made. The process was smooth from trying on, purchase to fittings. I LOVE my gown and only wish I could wear it again!

Mon Amie is such a great Salon! From the time of your first appointment with them, until the end, they are so nice! On your first appointment, they give you a questionnaire about yourself and your wedding. Then they bring you about 20 gowns to try on, and there is your saleswoman helping you to put on the dress. It isn't like any of the bridal salons in Hawaii. They are a little pricey, you could find the same dress that they have for a cheaper price if you looked, but their selection is VERY extensive. The alterations were awesome! Again, a little pricey, but it's worth it! There were no problems with my dress at all.

This is where i found my La Sposa wedding dress. I found it after 10 minutes! I had been to 7 different boutiques in my area before trying Mon Amie. They have everything! because I purchased my dress on my first consultation, they gave my a certificate for my fiance to recieve a brand new Ralph Lauren tuxedo from any Friar Tux- to keep! I had such anxiety about not finding the "perfect dress" and I cannot believe that I found it at Mon Amie in 10 minutes! The only thing that you might want to think about is if you purchase a dress from there, do NOT get alterations from them! It can sometimes cost almost as much as the dress. Take it to a seamstress you know or a friend can refer you to. I did and I saved a ton of money.

I went to a sale and the lady (can't remember her name) was amazing. She wasn't pushy, and understood that my budget was around $1000. Apparently, there aren't many dresses in that price range normally, but at a sale, I was able to find a beautiful dress (off the rack) that was way below my budget. The dress definitely needed a lot of work done to fix it, but I took it elsewhere because Mon Amie was going to charge approx $500. The dresses there were more the A-line, ballroom, princess type. My initial intention was to get a simple dress appropriate for the beach, but they didn't have anything like that. The dress I left with was a princess A-Line, that I absolutely loved!

I LOVED this shop! This is where I got my dress and I can't say enough good things about them. They listened so well to my description of my perfect wedding dress.... AND found it! I'd been to about 8 other stores all over southern CA and Oregon. I thought I was just going to need a custom dress, but no! It was at my price point, they didn't try to push me to buy something I couldn't afford. When you come for your appointment you can look at the dresses yourself, then they give you your own LARGE private room and pull dresses for you. If you think you've found THE ONE.... they have a beautiful mock isle to walk down so you can get a feel for the dress. One bummer, you can't take pictures (but we did when they left the dressing room!) until you put a deposit on the dress. Overall though, it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a wonderful experience finding my wedding gown at Mon Amie. I had heard that they had an amazing selection of gowns, but I was really in heaven with such a wide variety of beautiful gowns. They really do have the best selection I have ever seen for wedding gowns. I had an idea of what I wanted and with help from Julie who was so sweet and patient with me, we found the dress of my dreams! She was able to design a special veil to match my dress. I can't wait till my dress comes in!!! We still need to pick out the bridesmaids dresses and I saw some really beautiful mother of the bride dresses for my mother. We really had a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Mon Amie to all my friends.

I can’t say enough great things about Mon Amie Bridal Salon! I had been looking for my wedding gown for a while and had not found “The Dress”. At Mon Amie, I found THE DRESS just five minutes after telling my bridal consultant, Melissa, what I was looking for. When she walked in the dressing room with the dress, I knew it was the one and my eyes light up. My dress was absolutely gorgeous and I cannot thank you enough!

I first went to Mon Amie for a trunk show though many of the dresses were out of my price range. I explained to my salesperson what my budget was and style I was looking for. Well, to my surprise, my salesperson came out with 3 dresses that I fell in love with. I ended up buying one with matching shoes and had them alter it too. The dress fit perfectly and was on time. The overall service was great and i'd recommend calling ahead to schedule an appointment so you get the attention you want.

I purchased the Mon Cheri dress from the plus size section at Mon Amie Bridal. As a plus size bride, I was a bit nervous about my options and the stress of trying to find a beautiful dress. But Mon Amie, with the private dressing rooms and plus size selection gave me many options!

I had always intended on going to Mon Amie's, because they were so good to my sister when she bought her wedding dress. Due to final exams at school, winter holidays, and several family birthdays, I wasn't able to make it to Mon Amie's before the 6 month mark. I went at the 5 month mark. Instead of immediately trying to sell me on a dress that would have to be rush ordered, and therefore stretching my budget, my saleswoman recommended that I see what they had in store for me to buy. I didn't expect much, because I'm not the average body type. However, I found my dress for a third of my budget. After having it altered, replacing two beads, and having it cleaned and pressed, it was like new. I was very pleased. After going with my sister for her dress, and going for myself, I realized that Mon Amie's staff is very good at keeping you within your budget. They are very friendly, and despite doing this for a living, they are very aware of how important this all is to the bride.

I was really pleased with Mon Amie. I hear some girls have problem with service, but I had wonderful service. I came on a weekday night, which probably helped a lot. It was nearly empty and I got lots of attention. My dress was extremely cheap for a designer dress. They were having a huge Thanksgiving sale and there was a great selection of dresses for very reasonable prices.

I drove all the way to Orange County to get my dress at Mon Amie. I tried a few shops near Pasadena, but wasn't happy with the selection. Mon Amie is huge and they have a wide range of dresses from affordable to very expensive. I found the dress of my dreams here. They were very professional and helpful. They even allowed me to make some changes to the design of my dress. I would recommend this place to any one.

My sister first got her dress at Mon Amie the year before I was engaged. I then got engaged and was planning my wedding to be in three months. I knew I wanted to go to Mon Amie. They were very accomodating in getting me an appointment right away to come in to try on dresses. I found the perfect dress and they called the designer to make sure they could rush it to have it made in time for my wedding. All the ladies were so wonderful to me and made the whole experience amazing. My best friend is now engaged and also went to Mon Amie this last week and got her dress, because she rememebered how great it was for me. :)

My experience with Mon Amie and their staff was incredible. When I was searching for my wedding dress I found this beautiful Lazaro white lace dress in the window. It was my very first day looking at dresses and I feel in love with it as soon as I tried it on. My mother was in tears when she saw me! I loved the personal attention I was give from the very beginning. The seamstress was especially helpful throughout my fittings as well. I ended picking out the jewelry, shoes, headband, mantia and even added a piece of jewels to the waist to accentuate the dress. Everyone was so helpful from start to finish and I am grateful because as every bride knows, planning a wedding is stressful work. My wedding dress was amazing and I was lucky enough to get the first one in this design! I could not have dreamt for a more perfect dress and experience for myself and my husband. Thank you!

I was very impressed by the personal attention I received during my appointment at Mon Amie. I had just gone to David's Bridal earlier that morning and was very turned off by the lack of attention given by the associates. In addition, the changing rooms at David's Bridal reminded me of the small changing stalls you would find at Target or Kmart. However, I was very pleased to find out that a personal room was set aside for my appointment at Mon Amie. The room was spacious and had ample space for the pedestal, plenty of floor-length mirrors, and comfy chairs for my mom and sister to lounge in while they watched me change into various dresses. I had an associate personally assigned to me and stayed with me for almost 3 hours! She was extremely patient and willing to lug about 30-40 dresses in and out of the room based on my style preferences and budget. The dresses were a bit pricier than the ones I'd seen at David's Bridal but it was definitely worth it considering the personal attention and service I received. I truly felt like it was "my" own special day.

i went to the military bride event at mon amie and got my beautiful american dress for FREE. they were so kind and helpful.

The shop was recommended to me by a friend. It was very affordable and I was able to choose a beautiful dress. They made me feel welcome and they were very professional. I'd also recommend Mon Amie's.

I had a great experience at Mon Amie from my initial search for a gown to the couple fittings that I had done. My wedding was out of state and they did a great job in making me feel comfortable and confident that my dress would make it to its final destinantion. It was perfect!!

Ok, so before I decided to go to Mon Amie I read all of these horrible reviews about the place. But ... I decided to push my luck and try it out. I figured if I didn't like it I just simply would not get my dress there and it would be done. But the exact opposite happend. I got there and they were really nice considering I got stuck in traffic and was late to my appointment. My sales person was Natalie (yes we have the same name, but she was recommended to me by someone else) She was great she let me try on all the dresses I wanted and even more than once when I got it down to three different dresses. She bargained a good price for me that fell into my budget and was nothing but polite and professional the whole time. I feel in love with a dress and I left happy. When I returned for my fitting it was equally as pleasant my seanstress name was ... dammit I forgot I'll input it later. Anyways she was awesome and really truely cared about making my dress perfect for me. Even when it came down to getting all my attire pressed they agreed to press my veil even though I did not purchase it at that location. So I'm just gonna say that you should give them a shot because it worked wonderfully for me. But in the in its a decision that is completely up to you. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

The consultants there know what they are doing! Natalie, knew what kind of dress was best for my body. She said that I was picking out all the wrong things. Boy, was she right!!! Once I put on the dress she thought was perfect, I was sold. I have never felt more beautiful!

My mother, sister, and myself visited Mon Amie a month before the actual wedding day on a quest for accessories and such. Little did we know that the gown of my dreams was in there waiting for me to try her on. Please note that I was actually having my gown made, but the seamstress had not started cutting into the material yet. Also, before Mon Amie, I had not entered a bridal boutique once since my engagement on Christmas. To make a long story short, as I passed through the first aisle of gowns, there it was, a beautiful, unique, Amy Michelson breath of heaven gown. I owe it all to my sister, Jolina who was the first to eye the gown and quickly brought it to my attention. With the magnificent gown in my arms, Belle came to my aide to assist in me in trying on my very first fitting of a wedding gown and it was nothing less than breathtaking! And when they have the much anticipated bride walk passed the window to let the sunlight hit the gown and the timeless expression of the bride's face, while hearing gasps of amazement from strangers and finally when they see you, your awaiting family members... timeless! Gloria, the seamstress at Mon Amie, was so gracious and so very helpful, as well as Belle, that this was one of the least stressful events leading up to my wedding day. I thank you with such enthusiasm for the most wonderful experience in purchasing one of the most major and most cherished moments in a woman's life. Your service was top-notch and I highly recommend Mon Amie to any anxious bride!

They have a huge store with friendly and helpful staff which made this task a lot easier.

Before hearing about Mon Amie, I visited several other bridal salons and couldn't find the dress or the customer service I was seeking. A friend told me about Mon Amie and your wide selection of gowns. From my very first visit through my final fitting appointment, the customer service was top-notch and the quality of the products and services was very impressive. I loved everything about my experience here!-I loved my salesperson, she was not an annoying bimbo like some of those girls that "help" you.-I loved that they had sample dresses in larger sizes!! There is no other place with upscale dresses that you can try on in a size 16. I refused to pay $2000 for a dress that I couldn't try on, and at Mon Amie I tried on probably 10 dresses!-I loved my seamstress. She just "get's it" if you know what I mean. I told her I wanted my dress to be really tight, so that it would cinch my waist, and I was worried that she would make it to fit too loose, but it was perfect! Very flattering!I had no problems, everything went smooth, and I was able to buy my dream wedding dress. Thanks Mon Amie!!

I got my dress at Mon Amie bridal outlet and couldn't have been happier! They opened the outlet to brides for dresses off the rack at huge savings! My dress was perfect, and I felt like a princess. Finding my dress was probably the easiest part of wedding planning...and I owe it to Mon Amie's customer service and dedication. I went by myself (which I would recommend to any bride!) to Mon Amie on Saturday and my consultant listened to what I wanted and delivered! She brought me 10 dresses that fit my criteria and we slowly narrowed it down to two and then finally, the one! She was patient and not pushy at all. She let me decide and gave me really honest feedback. She also wasn't insisting I buy the most expensive dress - she made sure I felt good about the dress I was wearing, which I thought was great. I ended up spending 1/5 of what I budgeted and absolutely LOVED my dress. Although Costa Mesa is a bit of a drive from Santa Monica, I would recommend Mon Amie to any bride!

Best place to get your dress!!! Let them know your budget and you will get the dress of your dreams. Great service and the alterations went well since I am the shortest person and they managed to make dress porportionate with my size. My sister in law went there, I went there, and hopefully one day my sister will too!

We had a fabulous experience at Mon Amie! I found the dress of my dreams and was so thankful for all of the professional help that Mon Amie provided. My seamstress was Jenny and my Mom and I fell in love with her! She was so hilarious and always kept the mood light and fun. She's extremely talented and I can't thank her enough for fitting me into my dream wedding gown!

It's pretty overwhelming to look for a wedding dress, knowing how special that one day will be. I thought there we so many beautiful salons to go to but when I went to Mon Amie the selection of dresses took my breath away! Natalie G. patiently walked me through all the styles and options for me. Her commitment was touching and I left there feeling like she should come to my wedding! I found the perfect dress of coarse and Louise N. took care the alterations. They were very dependable and timely. After a couple visits I wanted to invite her to my wedding as well! LOL Needless to say I love the whole group there at Mon Amie and I truly received the dress of my dreams! It was one of the most pleasant, memorable and rewarding experiences of my wedding planning.

Mon Amie was fabulous. I had a wonderful experience with them, from picking out my dress (the very first time I tried on dresses, might I add), to the fittings, alterations, and selection of jewelry, veil, and shoes. If you can make a trunk show weekend, that's always fun - because I bought my gorgeous Jim Hjelm during a trunk show weekend I got to pick a 2011, hot off the runway. Plus, I had the pleasure of meeting the designer of my dress, the lovely, gracious, and incredibly talented, Francesca Pitera.

This place was great. although it is pricy, my Jim Heljm gown was beautifully fixed and just georgeous! although I lost weight from my last fitting to my wedding day, the dress still looked great. I recieved many complemements on my dress. The seamstress did a great job and knew just how to fix my dress to fit my petite and short frame.

The dresses at Mon Amie are absolutely stunning. Almost every dress I tried on I just loved and it was difficult for me to choose just one! The gowns are fresh, modern, elegant, classy, and just different. The staff here is so accommodating and sweet. I loved my dress and got married in May 2011; I received so many compliments about my dress.

Mon Amie treated me so well! They listened to my budget and style requests and brought me lovely gowns to suit. From my first visit to my final fittings they made special arrangements to suit my somewhat tight schedule and their team of master seamstresses did wonders with my alterations.

I had looked for a wedding dress all over northern california and I found dresses I like but had yet to make a purchase. My parents live in the Los Angeles area so when I was visiting them my Mom and I visited Mon Amie. We did not have an appointment so we just browsed however we made it clear to them that we really wanted to try on some dresses and they were able to squeeze us in. This store is beautiful. I love how you can touch and fell every dress and pick out the ones that you want to try on. In many of the other stores I visited the dresses were shoved into bags on racks so you could not easily see what they looked like. I found the dress I wound up buying by seeing it hanging nicely with other dresses by the same designer. Mon Amie also has the largest stock of dresses. They had every dress that I had tried on at other stores so I was able to compare my previous favorites to the dress that I ultimately bought.

I purchased my dress at Mon Amie the first day I went dress shopping! I had no intentions of buying it then, but it was a Lazaro Trunk Show and Lazaro himself was there--he showed me what the dress would really look like on someone as small as me and I had to buy it then! I love Mon Amie and its staff. They were very helpful and accommodating from beginning to end! Mayra and Virginia helped me find my beautiful dress and beaded belt/sash both by Lazaro, Jenny C helped me with my veil and accessories, and seamstress Jenny made my dress feel like it was customized perfectly to my body (I had a waist and a set of "girls" that I didn't think existed!), and of course the managers Beth and Kelly who were there every step of the way!!!

The gown-choosing experience for me was special from the moment I booked my appointment to the day I picked up my gown! I am actually sad that I don't have a reason to go and shop there some more! Rebecca was my consultant and she was so helpful, sensitive, and generous with her time. Never did I feel rushed nor pressed to purchase. She gave me honest and loving advice like a friend or a mom would which truly helped my selection process. I bought one of Lazaro's new gowns from his spring collection and am thrilled to this day by my selection and experience - I have never felt more beautiful! Loved my dress! I wasable to take it home the same day. They provided me with the best consultant Natalie to help me with my 3 month wedding deadline.

When I was there last August, I had a chance to talk to a lot of other brides and they all had different stories. So many of them said they had planned wedding after wedding only to have their fiances deployed unexpectedly. My husband’s deployment was extended by a month, giving us only a month after he returned to finish planning the little things for the wedding. Deployments are a hard thing to deal with, especially when planning a wedding, and your event brings a little sunshine to a dreary situation. Thank you, again. It is much appreciated."

Mon Amie was recommended to me by a friend. The bridal salon was amazing. The elderly woman that helped me was so incredibly sweet AND kept to my budget. Within five dresses, I had found the one. After trying it on a year later, it was still perfect. The alterations department did a wonderful job of fitting it to my size (even though I'd dropped two sizes that year). I would highly recommend this vendor.

I only purchased my dress here as I had to do my alts in another state. I had somewhat of an idea of what I was looking for. After trying on 3 dresses, I asked the woman if she had a dress that might be a combination of two of them. Sure enough she walks in with "that dress". Personal attention was great. Also got my jewelry and veil here. Great quality!

I said "yes to the dress" at Mon Amie and couldn't be happier! They were the first bridal shop I visited, and I walked away two hours later with my dress picked out! They were so professional, friendly, and budget conscious. Unlike the show "Say Yes to the Dress," they did not show me any gowns that were out of my budget, which was very important for me. Desiree was my consultant, and she was so sweet and let me pick out all of my dresses, which made me feel like she had my best interest in mind. She did not try to persuade me into buying anything at all. I brought my mom and sister with me to the appointment, and they were able to sit in a private area and watch me come out in each dress. It was a very intimate experience, with no more than two brides in the salon at the same time. I went to David's Bridal at a later time to pick out bridesmaid dresses, and was appalled at how chaotic, impersonal, and public the whole process was. Anyway, I tried on about 6 dresses, and fell in love with the very first dress! I had to rush order the dress and was really worried it wouldn't come in on time, but it ended up arriving about a month early! The dress fitting process was a breeze (I only had to go in twice). The woman who did my alterations really listened to me, which I appreciated. In the end, my dress fit beautifully, the train was perfect, the bustle was perfect, etc. I could go on and on. I felt so beautiful that day, and am so grateful to Mon Amie for making my wedding dress dream a reality. I would definitely recommend them to any other bride! Thank you, Mon Amie!!!

I had Nataly as my dress consultant and she was amazing. I brought in several pictures of the dresses I liked and with that she pulled 7 out of the 7000 dresses into my dressing room. I had a 3,000 budget but she ended up bringing in a dress that was only $1,700 and to my surprise it was the one! I had wonderful experiences there and highly recommend it. It can be a bit pricey is the only thing but I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world in that dress and it was worth every penny!

High end, huge selection. Not the place to come if you're on a low budget but if you want a fabulous gown and can afford a bit more then average I would recommend.

This is a fantastic place to find the wedding dress of your dreams. They have such an incredible selection of dresses ranging from $500 to $10,000. Also, they have so many accessories to make you look like the princess that you deserve to be on your wedding day. I highly recommend this store.

I had a great experience with Mon Amie. I went thinking I was going to just try on as many dresses as I could. I did and ended up finding the perfect dress for me at a very reasonable price. They did my tailoring as well and I was very pleased with the end result.

My dress and jewelry were altered to fit me exactly right, and left me feeling like an absolute princess on my wedding day! I had beautiful custom jewelry made for me, designed by Jessica in the Boutique. And Gloria patiently perfected the alterations to my dress to make it look like it had been designed just for me. Highly recommend!

I purchased a Pronovias dress from Mon Amie off the rack. They cleaned it and repaired it to restore it to "new" quality before I started my fittings. What I liked is that I asked my salesperson not to bring me any dresses that were out of my price range so that I wouldn't be tempted to spend more than I could afford and she didn't. I absolutely loved my dress and it fit beautifully. They have a great selection and dresses in all price ranges. I wouldn't suggest buying your veil or accessories there though because they are really pricey and you can find the same ones online for cheaper.

I purchased a beautiful Jim Hjelm gown from Mon Amie last year for my wedding. While this was a bit out of my price range, I wasn't find 'the dress' in the $1500 and under category. If you are will to spend over $2000, this is the store for you. They have a ton of dresses, and lots of the what I would call 'mid-range' of bridal dresses ($1500 - $4000). I went on the Jim Hjelm trunk show day (Mon Amie has a lot of these, which is great), so I received 10% off of my dress. In addition, because it was a trunk show, I was able to get a Jim Hjelm gown that wasn't carried by many salons. Everyone was super friendly and helpful during my appointment, though I do have to say that after my dress was purchased and I went in for my presentation appointment, I sort of just felt like I was being rushed through. It's ok though, because I got my dress and it was wonderful. I did not have alterations done here, so I cannot speak for the alterations department. One thing that was nice about the women who helped me was that they really did order me the size dress that would best fit me. I have had bad experiences with bridal shops ordering me way too large bridesmaid dresses hoping to get alteration money, but Mon Amie did not do this.All in all, it a great bridal salon, and I am happy I was able to buy my dress from them.

My experience with Mon Amie was amazing. From the time I started looking for a dress to the final fitting I had no qualms about my decision to use Mon Amie. Every staff member I interacted with was extremely professional and always very friendly. They have a great selection of gorgeous dresses that are great for all budget ranges. I would highly recommend them.

I went to Mon Amie in August and they were having a 50% off sale. So I bought a gown that was originally $8,000 for $4,000! What a value! Each one of the ladies that helped me were so wonderful and really understood my "quest" for the perfect dress! In fact, they knew what would look good on me better than I did. The seamstress was perfect and made the dress really fit like a glove!

I fell in love with my dress before I ever set foot in the salon. It was featured in a bridal magazine and Mon Ami happened to be one of the stores that carried this designer and this particular dress. I made an appointment and spent a lovely afternoon with my maid of honor trying on the most exquisite gowns! In the end... you guessed it! I chose the gown I had called about in the first place. It is a fairy-tale dress... and I felt like a princess on my wedding day. I will admit, Mon Ami is high-end retail. However, you get what you pay for. Efficient, professional, courteous service, perfect alterations and an atmosphere of serene elegance. I tried to be practical and kept trying on less expensive dresses... but only my dress was "the" dress. Looking back, it was so worth it!

Great service, dress came in on time. Alterations were pricey, but I didn't know else where to bring a beaded ball gown for badly needed alterations on the bodice (I needed about 4 inches taken off). The dress fit perfectly on the day of the wedding.

Mon Amie has a large selection of elegant and sophisticated dresses. The staff are friendly and do their best to accommodate your budget. They do nickle and dime their way and will try to upsell you. The veils and jewelry are overpriced, and alterations and dry cleaning (charged seperately) are expensive. However, their dress selection is lovely.I'm a tall girl (6'2") and selected a silk gown from Amy Michelson of which I actually had to hem.

Mon Amie is the best place in Orange County for gorgeous wedding gowns. They have the best selection and the most professional staff. Buying a wedding gown is not only about the purchase, but about the experience. The Mon Amie staff have the classic touch that make the experience so fabulous for any bride. It is an all-in-one stop shop. I think I bought practically everything there (dress, undergarments, shoes) except my jewelry. It is on the more expensive side but you really do pay for amazing service.

I found my dress at the Justine Mcaffrey Trunk show. It was the first dress I tried on, and I fell in love!! The staff was very friendly. Of couse it is hard for a bridal shop to be flexible because they have to go by the designers rules, but they did the best they could.

Mon Amie is a great bridal salon. And alterations was wonderful and they custom made my jewelry for me. Cannot say enough good things.

Every visit at Mon Amie Bridal was nothing but a great experience. My bridal consultant Vicki was so nice, helpful, and professional. She directed us to dresses that were in my price range and had me, my mom, and sister pick out some out for me to try on. The dress she picked out for me ended up being "the one" - I looked and felt great, it accentuated the parts of my body I liked (my boobs and butt in particular), and it was priced lower than the gowns my sister and I picked out. I never felt pressured to make a purchase, but I after my first appointment, I didn't bother going to any other salon as I only wanted to work with Vicki.I went back to Mon Amie for my first alterations appointment where I was then greeted by Jenny. Oh Jenny – she is a Godsend to say the least. She figured out how to remove the bunching in the front and big gap at the back of the dress without compromising the details that made me fall in love with the dress. Jenny also served as sort of a fashion design consultant. Jenny recommended what bra and underwear we should use for the best cleavage. She suggested accessories and hairstyles. She even showed us how to walk down the aisle and pose for pictures!I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else to go shopping and get alterations done for my dress. It must have been fate for Mon Amie to pair me with shorties, like myself, that understood my body type. Thank you Mon Amie!!!

This place is pricey but they have a fabulous selection & top quality designers. I ordered a Lian Carlo gown & it came in early. The alterations turned out great & I absolutely loved my dress!

There were a few little issues with the alterations to my dress but in the end they came through and my dress looked great!

I had a wonderful experience at Mon Amie. Everyone who works there is very nice. When you make an appointment you work with one girl who focuses on you for the entirety of the appointment. They are very nice and not fake at all. The one thing I will say is that the dresses are overpriced compared to other bridal salons. However, I felt it was worth it because I knew my dress was in good hands. The alterations services were also wonderful. They did a great job!!

Mon Amie seems to be a huge store with options for every bride, from every style to every price. At our first meeting I immediately found the gown that I would wear, and I felt very comfortable the whole time. The staff is very helpful, personable and professional. The experience was quick and easy, from the first trial to the last fitting, and the gowns were beautiful - a very wide selection.

My sister and best friend both got their gowns from Mon Amie, so it was a natural choice for me. Deanna was my consultant, and she was very patient with me. I was able to get my dream gown because they were able to sell me the sample gown used in the showroom, which was in great shape. Many people thought the gown was vintage because it was so unique. They have a great dress selection, but I would recommend being a savvy bride there. The simplest veils are very overpriced. I was quoted $300 for a chapel length veil. I ended up making mine for about $5. Also, I wouldn't recommend getting your gown altered there. We were quoted at least $500. I ended getting mine done beautifully by an independent tailor for around $300. Overall, I think the dress selection can't be beat in Southern California. But do go in knowing what you want, because the place can become overwhelming. Thank you, Mon Amie!

Dresses are on the expensive side, but I got some help from a trunk show promotion which was great. Dress was gorgeous, and service was excellent. They have a large selection, which is really nice.

Mon Amie has beautiful gowns and so many to choose from! The day we went to try on gowns for the first time was more than I expected and we had a wonderful time! Our stylist was a pleasure to work with and she pulled a perfect gown that we ended up purchasing that day. My later fittings has a few minor bumps that we did get through, they caused me some stress because of a few "hidden cost" issues and problems with my dress but we got through it all. Overall I would recommend them just know your dress and allow plenty of advance time to order.

I came here with my sister about 8 years ago when she was looking for her wedidng dress and it was a mess. However, I went back last year for my own wedding dress based on recent good reviews and was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency of the girls, there. I found a dress that cost $1200 (great deal) but with alterations, petticoat, veil, etc. it came out to more than double what I paid for the dress itself. Watch out for the alterations fees, and when the seamstress takes in the hem, make sure she takes in the underskirt as well (and I'm not talking about the petticoat) because I kept tripping on the underskirt at my wedding. So, anyway, I decided to get everything done there simply because I live far from the shop and didn't want to deal with the hassle of finding another seamstress. My jewelry, which was part of the Rene Pawele line, was made there and I was extremely pleased with them. The price tag was about $500-600 for earrings and the necklace combined, but as I was told by the saleswomen at Mon Amie, I was way under budget compared to most of the brides that walked into the store. Overall, I had a nice experience. Everything was completed on time and I didn't have to worry much.

This is a great one-stop bridal salon for all the brides out there. If you're looking for high-end couture and non-couture dresses, this is the place to go and shop. They have a huge selection. Prices are somewhat affordable and reasonable given for the quality of the dress. The only problem is their flexibility in schedule makes it very difficult for brides, especially if you're working. Other than that, this place is wonderful!

There is one universal compliment I received wearing my dress from Mon Amie... "stunning." It's not often you hear such a great compliment, so it's tough to forget. I decided to buy from Mon Amie because my best friend got her dress there. Also, my fiance wanted me to have the "princess experience." That's exactly what I got at Mon Amie. I was treated like I was the most important person in the room. When my friends and family were off pulling dresses, my consultant, July, went to the back and pulled what turned out to be my dress. July had me try on her choice first and there was no need to try on any more dresses. It was the one. The gorgeous ivory organza was perfect for my beach wedding in Malibu. Thank you Mon Amie for helping make my day perfect.

Excellent selection! After shopping for a dress for months, I finally was able to find my dress! I had to have the dress shipped to me in Arizona, and it took a little longer than anticipated, but it was worth it!

I got the most beautiful, unique wedding gown from Mon Amie. I am a plus size bride and at the time they had their La Femme section, which catered to us healthy girls. Sadly, I don't think they carry the La Femme line anymore. I had a great experience from the moment I entered the salon to the day I took my dress home after alterations. :)

They have a large selection of dresses. I found 3 dresses I liked and chose one out of the 3. I was happy with everything except I have to say their alterations were very expensive. Other than that, they were great.

Loved Mon Amie!!!!!!!!!!!! It was funny, when i got to the salon, we were a little early for my appt so we rummaged through some of their million dresses that they have. almost immediately i saw one that i LOVED. It was Cymbaline- Euriell. I was holding it when the assistant came out and introduced herself. We started the apt, and she pulled some dresses and we tried on the first one of many that my mom and sister pulled, and I was like.. nooo this is definitley not what I want. But then she asked me, what do I want? And I was like, can we go back outside? I went and got that Cymbeline Dress again, and she was like,, weren't you holding on to this when I was talking to you? and i said YES ! and I tried it on. I fell in love for the second time in my entire life!Loved it! It fit perfect! Everything about it, except for the price. Then she goes, well, the funny thing is, this is the only Cymbeline dress we have in the store right now, its brand new, and no one has tried it on, and it fits you PERFECTLY. Liza, TAKE IT HOME!So I did! She knew exactly what I wanted, and pushed me to go with my gut feeling. I'd recommend this to everyone because honestly, their selection was the very best! I rated it a little low because when coming back to pick up the dress, I dealt with some really snobby phone clerks. I shouldn't have to call back 3 times to find out what time they are open on a Tuesday.Also, their irregular business hours, they sort of suck. haha ;)

Mon Amie is mainly an up scale bridal salon, but they have a great discontinued/sale rack. I bought my dress on the first visit and it was only the third dress I tried on. They listened to what I wanted and they were really helpful. Make sure you make an appointment or go on a week day. The weekends are very busy! If you want to take your time and enjoy the experience without bumping in to other brides, call first. Other than that, they were very helpful and everything was on time or early. I loved my dress and the service!

My mother and I made a day of Mon Amie but not expecting too much... really just to look around. But we started looking and looking and we saw some beautiful dresses. I picked out 5 dresses but found "the one" after 3. The ladies there were very helpful in assisting us and helped pick out matching shoes, a veil and a petty coat. We were out of there for under $1,500.00 but they took all the worry out of it for me. I was completely satisfied with the dress!

I found my dress in the bridal outlet at Mon Amie. It was in perfect condition other than a broken zipper, and their alterations staff was easily able to fix it and outfit me with a dress that I loved within my budget!

While I got a bargain, I can see how this one-stop shop can quickly break the bank. The prices for accessories, alterations, and pressing the dress were very high. I spent as much on the alterations and the pressing as I did the dress.

Overall though, they have a great selection plus a helpful and friendly staff. So, if you have the money to spend or you're willing to shop off the rack, you should definitely check this place out.

I did my original dress shopping alone – I couldn’t get my mom to come along with me for a number of reasons. Grace was amazing – I came in on a Tuesday morning by myself for my “hour” appointment and stayed for two. She and the manager played dress up with me to our hearts content because I hadn’t given myself a specific idea of what I wanted as my gown. I tried on everything from Amy Michelson to no-name designers (Exclusives who?). They really paid a lot of attention to me and stayed within my budget.

I found my dress misplaced on a clearance rack. It wasn’t attractive in the bag. I figured I’d give it a shot. I’m so glad that they helped put together the whole package (veil, sash) because it sold me.

When I brought my mom & a girlfriend to make the final decision we weren’t pressured and the entire process went smoothly even though I ordered rather late. My dress came in two months early.

The ONLY unhappy experience I had was during the pickup. We arrived on time and were made to wait so someone buying shoes would be serviced since they were so sorely understaffed the day after Christmas. I had made it VERY clear that all I wanted to do was get in my dress, verify its fit, and get out of there (my parents moved out of state that night and we had a moving van sitting at our house while we were at Mon Amie). Unfortunately she still insisted on putting loads of expensive jewelry on me and pushing flower girl baskets and ring bearer pillows and other random things that I didn’t need, want, or wouldn’t have bought from them anyways. I opted to have my alterations done with a private seamstress (Mahtab) so I saved myself the $350+ I was originally quoted.

I really like mon ami. Even though it is a little stuffy, the selection is unbeatable and the designers are awesome. I wish I could have bought my dress here, but ended up somewhere else where the price was easier on the pocket!

Grace was very sweet and helpful. She helped narrow down my focus and even had me try on dresses that I would never think to try on. She also made it fun and interesting for the people that accompanied me to Mon Amie. She had each girl pick out three dresses for me to try on. I ended up hating all the dresses I picked and loved two Pronovias gowns my girl friends picked out. The only negatives was the pricing and difficulty in getting the style number/name of the gowns to shop elsewhere.
