Monell's Dining & Catering

The staff at Monell's were absolutely wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process. The day of the wedding everything was absolutely perfect down to the smallest little detail. Three weeks later I am still getting compliments from friends and family on how wonderful dinner was and how professional and cordial the staff was during the reception. The biggest compliment I have to give is that everything was taken care of so well that my mother (the wedding planner) didn't have to worry about anything or take care of anything because everything was being handled just the way we wanted it. That in itself meant the world to me because it meant she could be a part of everything else going on that night like my dance with my dad, the toast, and dancing the night away with all of our guests.
We can not thank Michael, Suzanne, and all of the staff at Monell's for making our reception exceptional in every detail. Everyone continues to rave about the food and they continue to tell my husband and I that our wedding was "the best wedding they have ever been to". I would have given Monell's a 10 if the scale went that high. I highly recommend using their services for your special day. You and your guests will not be disappointed.

Suzanne and Michael has taken the guest work out of catering. They are wonderful to work with. We did not have to worry about anything. We used Monell's for a wedding reception. Everyone had plenty of great food and good service. No one went home hungry.

The special events coordinator Suzanne Henkle listened to what my daughter envisioned for her wedding and suggested food that would bring out her theme. We enjoyed a menu which was a little fancy, a little country but definitely very Southern! We started off with marinated cucumber, tomato, squash & onion salad. Next came homemade biscuits with preserves and cornbread. Everyone raved over the fried chicken, smoked pork tenderloin, green beans, garlic potatoes, baked apples, and banana pudding as the Groom's cake - only in the South. The servers served 300 guests family-style and the food was hot and plenty of it! We couldn't had a better experience.

Monell's catered my daughters wedding on May 14, 2011. It was fabulous! Working with Suzanne and the Monell's team was great. Once the menu was decided they did everything else. Suzanne suggested I rent the linens with a company she works with, so easy. Suzanne even returned the linens for us. Thank you again Suzanne for taking care of that.

We had 200 guest, no one left hungry. Everyone loved the food. I had several people to ask what is the name of the caterer and I do I get in touch with them. I will continue to use Monells for any catering needs in the future.

Monells catered our wedding on 04/29/2011 and we have nothing negative to say about them. The food was amazing! Many guests came stating they enjoyed the food and we could not have picked anything better. The staff was great to work with during the wedding a looked very professional.

We really enjoyed working with Suzanne! She went far beyond what we would expect from a wedding planner. She had great ideas, and made everything come together. She was by our side during the wedding day without any problems occurring.

Monells catered my October wedding and I wish i could give them an even higher rating. The food was absolutely fantastic!! My wedding guests are still raving how wonderful everything was and how delicious everything tasted.

The waitstaff was dressed to impress in black and white and were incredible. They were attentive to every need my husband and I had. As soon as we arrived to the reception site to the moment the reception ended the waitstaff was making sure we had wine, food, appetizers, and checking to see if we needed anything else. They always new the appropriate times to approach us. The guests had the same awesome service. No one had a dirty plate in front of them or an empty glass.

Suzanne from the Monells catering was absolutely the most professional and most amazing person I could of ever hoped to work with. I live in NYC but got married in Nashville so communication was key to planning an out of state wedding. She immediately responded to emails and phone calls. She made excellent food suggestions. She helped me pick out tablecloths and find other vendors. She coordinated all the rental equipment. She came early to the reception and set up the room and stayed after the reception to wait for all the vendors (lighting, stage, etc) break down their equipment. Suzanne helped me come up with a wedding timeline of events. Beyond catering the best food and bringing the best waitstaff she coordinated the entire reception and made the room look fabulous. I can't speak highly enough of her!!!!

I without a doubt would choose Monells to cater any event I ever planned on having, they are the best.

Suzanne and any other person I ever encountered while dealing with Monell's was absolutely wonderful. Suzanne is willing to help and give advice on areas outside of catering if you ask but she isn't pushy at all if you would rather do your own thing. She always responded promptly and the quotes and invoices provided by Monell's are very detailed and tell you exactly what you can expect.
The day before my wedding was very stressful and many things did not go as planned. The day of the wedding, I was much more relaxed because I knew the vendors I had hired for that day were very competent and highly rated on sites such as wedding wire. If you can satisfy a bride, you've accomplished something. Suzanne and the staff she brought with her that day did not disappoint me in any way. We received (and continue to receive) many compliments on the food they served.
I felt their prices were reasonable and they had many options available (even some not served at their restaurant). But you simply cannot put a price on the peace of mind you will have if you book these true professionals.

Monell's was AMAZING! I could not have asked for better service for my wedding! The food was incredible & I was told by every single guest that the food was by far the BEST food they had ever had at a wedding!! Suzanne & her staff are lovely & GREAT to work!! Our daughter's wedding reception was eveything she envisioned it to be thanks to Suzanne and Michael. We couldn't have asked for a more flawless event. The hors d'oeuvres and dinner entrees were just delicious, and we still receive wonderful comments about the food. They also kept the momentum going throughout the night and were extremely attentive to our guests and to the newlyweds. It was a pleasure working with Suzanne and Michael as they are extremely knowledgeable about the catering business particularly with weddings and wedding receptions. As a first time mother of the bride, Suzanne reassured me that everything would run smoothly. I felt very at ease and comfortable knowing that she sincerely cared about my concerns and was very helpful with the many decisions that had to be made. Both she and Michael will take you under their wing and lead you by the hand to make sure that your childs wedding reception is special and beautiful. It's the details that make the difference, and I whole heartedly recommend Monells for your catering needs.

Monell's Dining and Catering provided the venue and catering for my daughter's wedding. My guests were overwhelmed by the quality and uniqueness of the food and the service. The venue was beautiful and the staff went over and beyond to add to what we had wanted and planned for. From the first meeting, during the wedding and afterwards everyone associated with Monell's made my daughter's wedding more than an event, but a very special memory. Suzanne and others responded quickly to any concerns I had and even anticipated concerns with helpful suggestions. They did an outstanding job coordinating all vendors and respecting everyone's role. I couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience with Monell's Dining & Catering. They took care of everything, and I was able to truely enjoy our wedding day. The staff is very friendly and accessible. They will help you in every way they can. I still get comments on how amazing the food was at the reception. Michael & Suzanne orchestrated a wedding that was above & beyond our expectations!!! They made my daughter & me feel like anything we desired was possible, and that proved to be true! They TRULY created a "Fairey Tale" wedding for my daughter. I would whole-heartedly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding or any event!
